Love this shop. Owners are friendly and honest. Always try to work on getting you back on the road safe and without putting you in the poorhouse. They also stand behind the work they do. I highly recommend them.

It is hard to come across good decent people and honest people who will actually do the work and not take your money knowing they cant do the job. I went to Gradys for the first time today for an oil change and all I can say is... wow!!! They are so friendly and so helpful. The entire property is absolutely beautiful and you can tell that they really care about their customers. Everyone that I talked to was incredibly nice, and they even filled my tires up! I didnt even have to ask! The oil change for my Corolla was less than $40. Ive only taken my Corolla to the Toyota dealership at the legends before and they always charged me and upsold me so much that I left the dealership paying HUNDREDS of dollars. It was a nice change of pace and I will definitely be back the next time my car needs some service. I dont usually write reviews on Google, but this family owned business really inspired me to leave one. Ill definitely be referring others to them.

Moved here from Detroit about 3 years ago and have been trying new mechanics pretty much everytime I get my cars worked on. Gradys is the only place Ive found so far that doesnt try to upsell me stuff I dont need and gets the job done right at a fair price, Id highly recommend them.

We have a Ford Transit 150 and on our road trip had a check engine light come on.First we took it to the Victory Ford dealership to get it diagnosed and find out which part we needed. They were charging $$$$$ to get it fixed and their customer service was not the best. (it was a somewhat straightforward process, and thought we could get a better price elsewhere).We made the great decision to take it to Gradys garage and days later Im still convinced it was godsent.You know the feeling of you try looking for a mechanic in a new state, it can be stressful. Their garage is located in a beautiful property and is a family owned business.They fixed our van in less time than the dealership and kept us informed throughout the procedure.We had a pleasant exchange with both owners and they were very professional and communicative.I would totally return to Gradys and recommend to others looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable and hard-working crew of mechanics in the area.

I ment to write this review early but you kno how life gets in the way but i really need to give this business a shout out. My car needs major work on the motor which will cost alot of money. The lady I spoke to on the phone went above and beyond for me. She went out of her way and made some calls into looking to get a new motor which they will put in for me and it will be cheaper then fixing the old one. I just wanted to say thank you, I appreciate you and you will definitely have my business in the future!

My tire blew on the freeway and not being familiar with the area, I checked google maps and Gradys Garage was the nearest auto repair I could find. I called them as I drove there and the woman who answered the phone was so kind she told me to be safe and when I got there they would check me out. When I got there I was greeted immediately, offered water, and to sit tight in the waiting room while they looked at my car. I couldnt believe how accommodating and hospitable they were to me with no appointment or anything. In 100+ degree heat they looked at my car and told me I would need a new tire. They called everyone they knew in the area as my tire was unique and not really stocked anywhere. They got me a HUGE discount on a tire and sent my husband and I just about 10 min away to pick it up. When we returned they mounted my tire and didnt charge me a dime.....DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! They even stayed open an hour extra to help me! I am a college student from out of state. Those little gifts keep me going every day. People told me when we moved here that folk were kinder but Gradys Garage touched my heart. These people are the real deal I wouldnt take my car anywhere else. Its out of the way for me but it would be worth it not to be scammed and to be treated like family.

I recently got my oil change here and the service was great! I quickly got an estimate at a good price and was in and out with no problem. They also do not charge for inspection on vehicles which I find very convenient. They always tell you what needs to be done, options to work with, and no hidden fees.

Grady’s garage does excellent work, and has very competitive and fair prices. My car would not start when I went to leave work so I had my car towed to Grady’s the next day since this place had so many positive reviews. They got my car in and began working on it immediately and got me back on the road as quick as possible, I have nothing negative to say about Grady’s and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my car back again.

These people are amazing! We were travelers that broke down in Kansas City. We called the closest mechanic who gave us an idea of what the problem might have been but refused to see our van. Then we called Gradys who happily took us in, even though we couldnt arrive until after hours, and let us sleep in our travel van until he could look at it the next day. He and his family were very sweet, he saw us first thing in the morning, and gave us a simple solution so that we could get back home and fix the problem there. Honest and warm hearted people, if your in Kansas City, GO TO GRADYS you wont regret it.

My wife’s tire blew on the highway and this garage was there every step. They helped her get to the facility, stayed late, and under charged. Seriously some of the best people around. Can not recommend this place enough.

I originally called when i was shopping around for the best price for a new internal computer for my Cadillac El Dorado because another shop quoted me $1000 to repair my car. When I called Gradys they told me to bring it by so they could take a look at it. The mechanic noticed a loose wire on my starter that was shorting out the entire electric system. He tightened the wire up and didnt even charge me for the five minutes he spent fixing my car. They are an honest and experienced, I wont take my car anywhere else.

Went to Gradys because it was close to my work, but I really think I found the best shop in Kansas City. They were able to get me in and out in one day, did great work for a very reasonable price, and even gave me a ride to and from work. Definitely would recommend!

I called and got an estimate for a wheel bearing--when I arrived ten minutes later, the wheel bearing had been delivered.Pat Grady is an outstanding mechanic with decades of automotive experience. Hes also a very nice man. His garage is clean, temperature-regulated, and well-equipped.Repairing cars and trucks is Pats passion, and hell patiently answer all of your questions. Hell also get you in-and-out quickly. If youre interested, hell tell you amazing stories about his days on the professional racing circuit and his conversations with racing royalty: Don Garlits, Shirley Muldowney, Don Prudhomme, and John Force.Gradys Garage is off the beaten path, but its a hidden gem thats worth the trip.

OK back in Dec 2011 I drove out to Kansas blow the motor on my truck. Called a few shops and Gradys Garage was the best price and quick in and out service even today 19 August 2013 the truck is still running like a champion. He called me and asked about some pistons being replaced so I have 4 org. Piston 2 new pistons and 2 used pistons. Clean up the blocked and made the repairs to the heads I blew and drove it back to Las Vegas, Nevada three days after he repaired everything. If I ever break down in Kansas again Grady will have my work again. Thank you Grady

Unbelievable find. Could not have been more helpful, responsive or cost effective.

Ive been to gradys for serious repairs 3 times, and maybe another 2-3 times for minor sruff. My whole family uses them. First of all they have some very compatible prices. On my last visit the alternator on my Avalon went out and I did some shopping around before going to Gradys (although I dont know why, and I am almost tempted to never second guess them again). Anyway, Gradys estimate was $120 lower, before taxes, than the mechanic that the tow guy was recommending so highly. AND Gradys took my car in late Friday afternoon around 4:30, and had it all ready to go at about by about 7:30 even though they had to stay late. They got it to me when they promised, at exactly the price they promised. Otherwise I would have been waiting until Monday and paying $120 more +tax. Another place said $140 more and get it out mondag, and another place said $180 more more than I paid Gradys to get it out that night.. on top of that, every time Ive been to Gradys garage, Gina (part owner I believe, wonderful young lady) has showed me exactly what they did and why, and why it cost what it did. She would show me the part they had taken out, she even explained to me what was wrong with it so I could clearly see the damage right in front of me, even though I know nothing about cars. Then she showed me the replacement piece and how much it cost them, and she told me how much the labor was. It was a great feeling knowing I wasnt getting scammed, and they werent doing anything that didnt need to be done. I didnt have to second guess them. Another time my car was almost out of gas and I didnt think of make it to the gas station. I asked if I could have just a tiny tiny bit to be safe, but instead Gina have me a couple gallons.. last thing Id like to say is that they also run, or help run, or are a part of, some charity that helps less fortunate people get car. Theyre great people, hey really do care, theyre very good at what they do, they have great prices and of course I have some appreciation for the fact that it is very clearly a locally owned and operated family business and they take pride in what they do!
