These guys are awesome. Between the front counter folk to Tony out back, they were professional and took care of me and my truck. They do more than just Powerstrokes too, my old IDI is usually turned away by most shops but not these guys. They fixed the screwups the last shop caused and made me very happy. Dan is a very knowledgeable tech, and Jason is very kind and understanding as well as knowledgeable. Cant say enough good things about these guys. Go check them out, you wont regret it.

I have an 04 6.0 Excursion. It had developed a shake only when accelerating and it gradually got worse. Started only at higher speeds... I had taken it to 2 previous shops (not diesel shops) told by one they wouldnt even look because it was diesel- the other tried, replaced some parts, suggested other parts but not exactly sure. When the shaking started happening at 30mph, I knew it was bad. Posted on a fb group in search of a reliable shop... 1 guy responded with Absolute Powerstroke. Austin gave my husband a detailed description of what was wrong, what needed to be replaced and all the things that came along with the repair. My husband talked it over with a couple friends and they all agreed that the charge was a good and fair price for everything being done. He called Austin back and authorized the repair over the phone. When we picked up my EX, Austin again went over everything that was included in the Driveline Service... he was not rushed or rude, he was smiling explained everything in detail and very helpful! Needless to say, I am in absolute heaven in my truck again! So are my kids!!! No more shaking! We will absolutely be using Absolute Powerstroke for future needs on both our 04 EX and our 13 F250.

8-23-2018. Jason has worked on my truck so many times I feel like they are family. Melissa is just as great. I think when we sign up to be a diesel owner we look at the good but don’t think about if something goes wrong how much it will be. The takeaway from this is a diesel most times can’t be fixed very quickly as a gas. I have had shops in the past that have keep my truck for a month. They are not one of those shops. They are blue collar people just as you and I are. They work as fast as they can. And I trust there decision. I would not ever take my truck to anyone else. Thank you guys. Kenny king

TRUSTWORTHY. Consistently had excellent service Im a regular for change and basic service. But Im posting because recently needed a replacement beyond regular maintenance. They could have done for super expensive ordering special parts etc. $1,000+. INSTEAD they referred me to Another company who already had the parts also does good work only costs $200. Because they knew about it all agreed it was right! Happened after Christmas when everyone could use extra money.

I was at the end of my mechanic abilities and needed some quick help. Called these guys, they got me right in even with a full house, ran the diagnostics, gave me my options and patiently answered all of my questions. The overall experience was great and to add icing to the cake, I just so randomly chose the shop that has done all of the work to my truck before I owned it. I see why the previous owner kept going back. Cant wait to build up this truck with this shop!

Four stars for now as I havent pulled my trailer yet. But I believe I have found a new home for my diesel. Friendly, down to earth group. Didnt talk down (even though shes a 6.0) and answered all my questions. My truck came back washed even! Runs better than it ever has since I owned it! Didnt push repairs only gave recommendation and left the final say to me. Shes clean and running like a champ! Highly recommended! Hell even got a key chain!

Bought a 2007 F350 XLT Super duty at an auction. Got a diagnosis, which he then explained to me what I needed and what we could slowly work on. Got the full bulletproof treatment and he troubleshot some other issues I have. Long story short, He gave me back a 6.0 that sounds brand new and a plan for my other minor issues. Great shop, these guys are mechanics not part installers like dealerships. Recommend Absolute Powerstroke to anyone I know with a Ford!!!!!

I had my 7.3 towed to absolute powerstroke several times. Each time the results got worse. When I started going to AP it was great. I had a strong 7.3 with decent fuel mpg. I had a tune and an alarm system.They let my truck sit without starting it for over 8 months while the searched for a computer. Then they charged me $55 for a bolt. I asked them for an oil change and grease the front end. They never greased the front end. They forgot. But they did not forget about the $55 bolt. Everytime I would go pick up my truck it was not running. I had to wait an hour to get my truck running. Sorry Absolute Powerstroke i wont be back. I should not pay between $400 and $600 and have to wait for the truck to start when I get there.

Missed an easy fix. Gave me an estimate for 3,700.00, turned out to be a bad plunger in my fuel bowl. Wanted to replace hpop, injector and sensor. Took it to Drews diesel and he found my real issue. This was my first time here and I was not impressed. Poor communication.Update to their response-As to the not factual response....they actually wanted $4337.06 estimate is attached. So they are correct I said 3700 but it was much higher than that. And just the hpop, injector and icp sensor was only 2645.39 BEFORE shop supplies and tax. Yes its a 1999 model, but it has been cared for. And why would I call you back to tell you were going to fix things that were not broken? I just feel lucky that I took it for a second opinion. And NO, you did not give me any indication there was steering or suspension issues. Attached is a copy of the estimate. So now I feel very different about you and your company. Incompetent and untruthful. I would give you no stars but it will not let me. A simple phone call to me would have helped your company with my review, and yes I would like a refund but I’m sure you don’t mean it. I would love to have had a better experience, but my review is honest and it is my opinion of my experience with you. I don’t feel you were honest with me and trashing my review instead of asking to rectify the situation is not helping. I needed help, and you wanted to throw parts at it which would not have fixed the real issue, just drained my bank account. If you want me to revise this review you will have to try harder!

Yo, every review he has an excuse. Every bad review he says he doesn’t know them or it’s their fault. Take some responsibility bro. Ruined my 6.0. Doesn’t know how to install lifters. Had to take to Powerstroke specialty in Georgia.

This place had my truck for about 3 weeks. First off I was told that the diagnostic tests was $175, got the bill he charged me $275. I already had a brand new cam shaft censor in my truck & he put in another & charged me for it when that wasnt the problem. He put in a used pmc module & that wasnt the problem but it made my keys not work & I got charged for new keys with no knowledge until it was time to pay the bill. And if that wasnt enough my bill totalled $810.19 & they charged my card $812.35!! He was extremely rude as well.

Had my 08’ F-250 6.4l DPL deleted from this guys a couple years ago. They did a great job, and very nice to work with.

Before he was absolute powerstroke, he was absolute automotive repair. had them do a fairly simple repair on an F150 Lightning. Truck was towed to him and towed back to me. Upon attempting to start it, the engine ate itself. It was towed back to him, where it sat for 4 months before he even looked at it. Then sent me an email telling me the damage was in fact his shops fault and would repair it. That took another 7 months. The truck came from the factory with forged pistons, forged crank etc. That isnt what they put back in. As anticipated, the motor lasted all of 6 weeks, less than 30 miles before two of the pistons cracked and a spun bearing... While IDLING! No way was I going to let him touch it again.Im sure he ate some cost over the almost year it took to get anything done. Maybe he should have done what I suggested and bought a short block, which I ended up doing for less than $4K, with the correct internals, that has been running 4 years now without a hiccup. I dont know if Id trust them with a gas motor. He even put a 192* T-stat in the truck, that came from the factory with 180*. Details dont seem to be his cup of tea. I gave him one star rating from the lowest simply because I think his heart was in the right place, I just think he cheaped out as much as he could on the build.So all in all, his shop, or former shop, cost me two motors, overall a year and a half down time and almost $8,000. The price of the new short block, plus labor to R&R and the $1200 I paid him for the initial repair.Edit: Why would I correct it, its the truth. Are you claiming that prior to becoming Absolute Powerstroke, you werent Absolute automotive at 6620 Royal St. A, in Pleasant Valley? In fact, you were in the process of moving when you shipped my truck back the second time, It had a massive oil leak and had to go back again and I picked it up from the then new, APS shop.Given the facts, I dont think the initial review was that bad. How many other people are going to lose two motors, $7897 and be down 18 months due to one shop and only write a review? I only wrote the facts. When it came to my truck, it didnt work out so well. It is a supercharged motor, the parts were replaced with NA pieces. It didnt work. I dont know if you thought you knew more than the factory, or were trying to cut costs. Either way, it was a frustrating experience. As I said initially, Had you just bought the correct short block, with the correct forged internals, it would have been done much faster and had it come apart, it wouldnt have been your fault.Also as I said. I think your heart was in the right place. You owned up to the fact that your tech screwed up on the initial job. You could have said it wasnt anything you did and shipped it back. Of course, I would have had it torn apart and checked and the truth would be known eventually. So you do get credit for that, taking the blame and attempting a resolution. Even though the resolution was a complete failure, at least you did try.

Incomitant 6.0 didnt even go 5 miles after 1200 in repairs when i call at 330pm got machine saying due to our overwhelming number of calls leave a message get there at 4pm nobody there wouldnt let them check my oil

Great folks. Have been very willing to take the time and listen instead of throwing parts at it like were playing a guessing game, which is exactly what other shops will do on these 6.0s. same work they have completed on my 1 ton was quoted by 2 other shops at a price of $1700 and higher on total cost. I still got motorcraft parts, installed by techs who work on nothing but powerstrokes so quality parts and quality techs saved me a chunk of change. Will definitely be back for any work needed
