Wood floors were a completely new concept to me having carpet & ceramic throughout my entire house. Jason was extremely patient while I was indecisive and went back and forth with different quotes. He even brought a sample out to my house. He didnt try to sell me the most expensive floor but just wanted me to be a happy customer. A happy customer I am! Holy moly. I couldnt be happier with the whole process. From the estimate to the scheduling, then the work itself - fantastic. We had our 21 year old orange-y oak floors refinished to a much darker/more modern finish, and it was affordable, only mildly inconvenient, and totally transformed our home. I cant say enough good things about Ken, our installer, who was prompt, courteous, and very good at what he does. The first morning he was scheduled to arrive at 8, and called to let me know he was running late - by only 5 minutes.Dont call anyone else. Get a quote from Real Wood Floors, and then hire them. As far as Im concerned, theyre the only game in town.

We had our existing kitchen wood floors re-finished and added wood flooring into the living room and hallways. Real Wood Floors was recommended to us by a friend so I called to get more information. We built a new home in South Haven MI and Jason and his team did a beautiful job installing and finishing cherry and white oak flooring. They also installed a beautiful staircase and railing. My wife and I like many others have taken on the project of renovating an old farm house. We entrusted Real Wood Floors to bring the original wood floors throughout the downstairs back to life, and they absolutely nailed it! Jason and his team were unquestionably awesome to work with in all aspects, from coming to see what we were working with and showing/quoting us various options, Erika in the office working with us coordinating both their and our timelines as we were hustling best we could to get things finished up and get them in, and the superb work done once we got them in only enhanced by the premium Bona products they use! Arrivals through the week were always very prompt and on time in the morning which was great! Jason and Tim were great answering a multitude of questions and showing us various stains and even going as far to mix stain colors to arrive at the best match to the original trim throughout the house!!! Jason had various solutions to fix a couple of small spots on the floors that through us a curve ball from the wood being left raw under old flooring before putting down a Satin water poly finish from Bona that has left us thrilled beyond belief!!! Real Wood Floors positively killed it for us and confident they will do the same for you!

We were very impressed by the craftsmanship and customer service which Real Wood Floors provided during the re-finish of our maple hardwood floors. The house was left in excellent condition (hardly any dust) each day and the end product is beautiful. As a business owner, I expect good communication, promptness, and super high quality and my expectations were met ten-fold. I came home to a completed floor install that was on-time, just as Jason promised and I was very pleased with how well the crew cleaned up after the installation. Most contractors are not aware how as a home owner, coming into a finished project with no dust, tools, trim pieces or any evidence of a previous 5 day work site is so satisfying. Even going the extra mile to make the trim just right, throughout the project, I felt like my voice was heard and I was treated very well. I have been slow to post my review, but felt the need to give a review. Had a project for replacing my carpet with hardwood floors. To match my other hardwoods, there is trim along the side to accent the flooring. One area in particular was going to be tricking because it is curved. Real Wood Floors did an outstanding job. Their craftsmanship is remarkable. They were on time, on budget and in constant communication. I cannot recommend a better hardwood flooring company in the area than Real Wood Floors. They are remarkable at their craft.

Real wood floors installed our Brazilian Teak floors 12 years ago in most of our home. We recently had them replace our remaining carpeted floors with Brazilian Teak to match our existing floors from 12 years ago. They did an amazing job! It’s hard to tell where the old and new floors meet. Their staff (Jason, Tim, Tom and Erika) are extremely courteous, professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend Real Wood Floors!

From timely and clear communication to the finished product working with RWF was 5 stars all the way! I had extensive repair and refinishing after an ice dam about six years ago and then, wouldn’t you know it, a leak in an ice maker water line while out of town recently. I had wood flooring installed by Real Wood Floors in my dining room and living room, and then had those two rooms as well as our entire first floor refinished so everything looked like it was originally done. Jason was a true professional during the estimate and answered every question I had. We talked through different options for which way to run the floor in the two new rooms, eventually agreeing on lacing in the new flooring to the existing. Tim performed the work and did an AMAZING job. He was great. My wife and I asked him to put at least 12 different stain samples on the floor to choose the color and we never once felt like he was even getting slightly aggravated as we asked for just one more. I think he would have put down 100 and been as patient as ever with it had we asked. I live well over an hour from Kalamazoo and went with Real Wood Floors based off my instinct during the quote. I had 3 other local flooring companies quote the job and I could tell I was making a good choice when I went with Real Wood Floors. Thank you so much to Jason and Tim, top notch all around! Real Wood Floors has an amazing team. The owner Jason comes out for the quote, he is very personable, and knowledgeable. He was able to tell us what type of wood was used in our 1900 built farmhouse. He is very proud of his team and confident that they do good work.We chose them to re-do our wood flooring in a bedroom and our dining room and a new installation of flooring in our kitchen. The transition between the existing wood floors in the dining room into the kitchen (where the new flooring was installed) flows well and matches up perfectly. They worked hard as they tore out multiple layers of flooring in the kitchen. The team is professional, friendly and did great work. Glad we have a local company that has excellent craftsmanship!

We just had Jason and his team refinish 5 floors in our house. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Jason and his crew installed the maple flooring in our newly built home a little over ten years ago and we were thrilled then with the quality of the installation and beauty of the floors. As the years have passed and the natural scuffs and scrapes of life occurred, weve still never felt like the floors lost any of their attractiveness or made our home less inviting. We recently had some water damage occur and the remediation company used another flooring company for the refinish - the quality just was not there. We reached out to Jason and he reviewed the work and recommended a refinish which we had Real Wood perform.
