The first time we saw our house was our move-in day. That’s how much we trusted Ethel through this whole process. She made us feel confident, comfortable, and handled everything remotely. I couldn’t give her higher praise. She was amazing!

When communication exists, it is pleasant. The application process was easy and straightforward. I appreciate a well put together tenant portal. When my furnace was out on my move-in day I did see a tech before nights end. That being said, expect communication to be extremely delayed. It will all depend on how much control the landlord gives Berkshire, as they are a third party management- but even so I would expect that when I’m told an email is on its way that it actually happens, that my texts are responded to, and that my emails aren’t “accidentally deleted”. I’m in the beginning of my lease and have experienced 3 star service so far. In this industry even a confirmation of receipt of a request goes a long way- I know there are other clients and pressing matters. Hopefully this review can improve.

Leased a property through them.. They added things to my pay schedule and then when asked about them they said they were mistakes.. Would not give me my money back and said they added to my deposit. Never received. Horrible at returning emails and phone calls..Be very careful... Poorly managed.

I had a terrible experience renting from Berkshire Hathaway. Terribly slow at fixing major problems, response time is poor and often nonexistent, and moving out was awful. The homeowner was paying Berkshire to work with us, but at the very end of a multiple year lease, she took over herself. She nickel and dimed us, taking our entire security deposit, and then some. We made allegedly-approved improvements to the shabby backyard, and were forced to pay $500 to put it back how it was before. We left the home basically move-in ready. We were charged for new blinds that were never replaced, despite new tenants being moved in. Berkshire did literally nothing to help us. I am disgusted. I thought I was working with a reputable business, but it was a slumlord in disguise. I highly recommend staying far away from this dishonest operation.

Very unprofessional, poor communication skills, unfair judgement of rental unit condition. We are being charged for not cleaning the carpets or the unit after moving when i paid good money for a steamer and spent hours while pregnant making that place spotless. It looked better when we moved out than it did when we moved in.

This rental house team is the worst of their attitude.Very slow,and delay to meet,and nothing incharge of their work.It was terrible things,Jaqua is better than them, I recommend you toUse Jaqua,They are more polite and neatly.Please don’t use this realtor!

Do not trust these people. I am a disabled veteran with a toddler and they put me in an apartment that has more than one leak coming from the ceiling and smells like mold. I moved out and asked about my deposit and they said there was no leak and that they said a roofer came out and said their was no leak...I was sleeping in that room and woke up to my bed soaked. I had even reported the leak before i moved out and they didnt do anything.

Jill Bertolissi is a scam artisit at its finest and WONT fix anything. Im seeing legal representation regarding bogus charges she filled. She rents through kenbrooke court as well. Unprofessional, rude, con artist. Karma will handle the rest.
