Chelsea is hands down one of the most talented and incredible professionals I’ve had the pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable and tailors each experience to your personal needs. Made a visit to Blush from out of state for a bridal make up trial. Absolutely hands down the worst experience! I ran 15 min late. Called ahead of time two times. I inquired parking. Gretchen recommended I valet. I realized when I pulled in, that valet was not offered during the hours I was there. Upon arrival, I met Chelsea, who took me into the makeup room to commence the makeup process. It wasn’t until AFTER she did my makeup, there was interest in seeing inspirational pictures. She did a horrific job on my makeup! Far less than impressive. I was double charged for the trial and they did not validate my parking. I made a special trip from out of state. Hands down the worst experience—I left feeling very defeated and disappointed. I would never in a million recommend Blush Spa to any brides out there. I cannot speak for their daily routine services, but I certainly can for bridal makeup trials. Spare yourself!

I first came to blush in December and liked my hair but wasn’t in love with it. They had me come back in January and did something completely different. Everyone is so kind and they truly do an amazing job to make sure you’re happy! Definitely come here for hair needs!

I booked an appointment from another state not knowing what I would get for my sons wedding, and Abby was amazing! She did my makeup and hair and talked me thru the whole process and made me feel so comfortable. When I arrived at the wedding, both of my sons and daughter in laws LOVED IT!! They said I looked beautiful and that made the rest of my evening. Thank you again Abby! You were a huge success! 🙂❤

I had Abby to dye my hair, and she was very considerate and super experienced! We are right on track for what my hair goals are, and I left the salon feeling great! Price is on the high end but its worth the quality and exemplary customer service!

I was in for a basic petty but was really just looking for a new place to go since my stylist moved recently. While I was there, I had the opportunity to just sit and observe everything & for the most part everyone was very professional! One girl, (I think her name is Heather & her last name was to hard to pronounce!) went out of her way to be nice & talk to me even though she was definitely busy. I got the chance to see the color/cut she was doing on another client & loved the finished product :) I will definitely be back in to see her!

Came in multiple times to talk to 3 different stylists about wedding hair & makeup ( I would have been coming in for two different events), and all 3 stylists each time I came in, were very accommodating and assuring that it would happen. Anu said she would come in early, Sarah was on board, Sierra said she can even stay as long as it takes; I told them Im sure all your stylists are great so it can be whoever is on the schedule, Im not picky. Considering my reception will be at the Radisson, I was hoping to get ready there as well. Staff was understanding. Come a few days later, their receptionist calls and flat out tells me none of the stylists can make it work without any reason as to why. Multiple times I asked how can we make it work, she just kept rejecting, as in she didnt want me to come in at all. When I talked to them originally, it was possible for me to come in the entire day, now I talked to her, she said you wont be able to come in at all. Not even a sorry, not even an explanation, just a flat out no. Absolutely ridiculous considering Ive talked to multiple stylists at multiple different times, who all wanted to come in. If they were not able to do it, they could have looked at the schedule (which Anu was doing when I talked to her), and told me we can let you know, instead of yeah lets do it, come in to sign the contract!...Moreover, no one was apologetic that theyre canceling all the appointments and did not give any reason as to why. Very surprised with their behavior.

Bikini waxes are, by nature, not the most pleasant of activities, but Brittany did an incredible job. She was quick and held conversation with me the entire time which made the process way more tolerable. I highly recommend.

I made an appointment 6 weeks out to get my hair done. We have several weddings and events coming up this summer, so I booked early to make sure there would be time for me to get it done. They called the morning of to cancel and couldnt book me again for at least another month. You really cant do anything to make space for someone you cancelled on? Pretty disappointed in the customer service.

I was hired as a stylist apprentice at Blush about a year ago and my experience working at this salon has been incredible! I have learned so much from each, and every one of my team members! From practicing cutting edge techniques, to navigating social media platforms as a tool for building a clientele, I cannot put a price on the value of this apprenticeship program. The hiring process was extremely straightforward and streamlined, and my communication with HR was very informative and pleasant. Leslie Rembowicz has been an incredible manager who goes above and beyond to make our staff feel like family. She is always eager to get her hands dirty and fill in when the team needs a helping hand! I have never had a manager whom I loved and trusted as much as Leslie! Anyone who is fortunate enough to gain employment through Blush can expect to be treated like a valuable asset as well as a beloved friend.

I had a luxury massage with Erin. She was amazing!! The massage was everything I hope it would be and more. I highly recommend seeing her for your next massage!

Ashley is amazing! Blush is the only place Ill let touch my hair. The price is comparable to other quality salons. Heather has done work on my hair as well. Id recommend either one!

I was getting my hair done for a wedding I was in. The person who did my hair was nice at first, but she didnt listen to a word of how I wanted my hair done. I asked for tight curls and small volume on top. She gave me too much on top and really loose curls that came out squared shape. I asked for her to redue my curls and make them tighter since my hair does not hold curls very well. She then started giving me some attitude and brushed out my teased hair very roughly. It was painful and unnecessary. I would not go there again.

Absolutely horrible! I would NEVER suggest this salon to anyone. They attempted to scam me. It took me many attempts to get what I paid for. I wanted to purchase a gift certificate for a friend and have it mailed to my house (I wasnt able to drive yet after just having a baby). When I called to purchase it, they charged my credit card, but never had any intention of sending it to me. I called back many times and they LIED to me, saying that it was in the mail. It took 2.5 weeks and many calls, including to the manager, to finally get the gift card that I had paid for more than 2 weeks prior. Disgraceful.

Awesome full service spa / salon in downtown kalamazoo and they validate parking. I was welcomed and felt very refreshed after my visit. I will most definitely return.

Idun Spa Salon was absolutely wonderful. My friend and I dropped in to make an eyebrow appointment and they took us in immediately. The lady that had done my eyebrows before (at a different salon) had really messed them up and destroyed the natural curve of them. The lady at Idun Salon took her time and corrected the mistake, really making sure that she did a good job. It took over an hour for her to fix my eyebrows, but they have seriously never looked this great. She really perfected them and fixed them. Ill never go anywhere else.

TERRIBLE customer service! Canceled my hair appointment the morning of my wedding and said there was no “budge room” in their schedules to accommodate. UNACCEPTABLE for any business to treat customers this way. Wish I could give less than one star.

The staff was vary friendly and professional. The massage was first rate, will certainly be back.
