Great friendly staff, love how the gym is set up, plenty of equipment for most things you could need and everything is pretty well organized. Ive been going here for a couple months and Im really happy to have found a nice local place that isnt too crazy busy like some big chain gyms. 7 day free trial was really nice to have as well. Highly recommend!
Great staff and workout environment. Willing to work with you.
1st timer. Smaller gym but nice work out place to go. Employees are helpful and super nice.
Perfect I love they have iron now its the best at least for me its not much but its just enough
Nice to be able to exercise without the crowds and is an easy place to get in.
Pretty good gym. Only one squat rack (I think they are putting in a new one) but I rarely had to wait that long. There isnt a dedicated deadlifting area but people just use the floor and its okay. Theres a big open area too. Good vibes from staff and other gymgoers. Everyone puts away their weights and cleans machines after using. Its not boutique - sometimes the bathrooms and floors arent the cleanest. But it gets the job done pretty well. I hope it survives the pandemic and reopens.
I live 20 minutes away and choose to come here instead of the gyms closer to me! The staff is really welcoming and the gym is super clean. LOVE LOVE LOVE it here:)
Called wondering if they had a good pool to do my swim workouts... they actually said yes and had me come in for a tour... total waste of my time. Pool area was small, outdated, and not very clean.
They didnt charge us while they were closed during the pandemic like other gyms have with their clients, they are reasonable people with fun staff that keep the place clean
Small friendly location. Ive been there for 2 years now, The system used to get in is smooth. Staff have always welcomed me and answered my questions. I remember signing up, it was easy quick and the membership was well explained and at a great deal. I use cardio and weight room, its always clean and some good music is always playing. I love how its not crowded. If youre not an absolute gym head and want to do some weights and be in a friendly environment this is the place. I truly recommend it.
I like it alot most the peeps are to them selves yet still friendly
FINALLY A POOL. Granted it may not be an Olympic sized pool but you can definitely do laps.Good equipment, friendly staff, and a decently good location relative to WMU.
Nice gym, had a change in management recently so the place is getting renovated bit by bit to ensure the safety and functionality of everything and of course making the place look better. As of right now I still find it a nice place to workout. They have classes, a pool, a dry sauna and a womans area to workout
Used to be a great conveniently located gym but since new management it has gone down hill pretty badly. Equipment is always broken, the sauna, when it does work, is disgusting. No one behind the desk knows where anything is and you can never get them to answer the phone. Walked in to inquire about any discounts for veterans and the lady that apparently was the manager was entirely disrespectful as if me asking the question inconvenienced her. If I could give this place no stars I would but instead I’ll end with, I’d take my money to strength beyond, better equipped, better staff & just overall a better experience.
Friendly and welcoming staff and members. Perfect for those who want to avoid an overly-crowded atmosphere. Plenty of equipment to utilize, great class options and nice amenities. The Genesis Fitness and Wellness training group that Endurance has running their personal training department is the absolute best in the business.
Love the water aerobics
Ive only had good experiences here. Staff seem friendly, people are polite, the equipment is fine. They happily gave me a very good deal when I paid for 3 years all at once upfront. Worked out to be the cheapest deal I could find in town - cheaper than 1 year at some gyms.
Fabulous staff and updated building with great equipment. Security is tight so that is great for women! Pool and Sauna is awesome, reasonable prices for what you get! Personal service is the best!
This gym is a bit sketchy. They kept charging me monthly after my contract had ended, even though that was not stated IN my contract. The mens locker room was NEVER clean. The soap and paper towel seemed to be always out. The hot tub/sauna seemed to be out of service more often that they should have been and the steam room didnt work at any point while I was there. I impression is that they just dont have the finances to support themselves which is probably why theyre always running specials to get anything they can.The staff was never RUDE but they certainly never went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience.I will however concede that they had adequate equipment and machines. I cant knock them entirely.
Used to be a great place. Now the equipment is often broken or bent ( low quality barbells), bathrooms only partly work and are treated like a criminal by the staff. Management actually felt the need to call and scold me for forgetting to scan in on a Sunday when no one was there (I didnt have my fob but my wife did). Ive paid membership dues for 4 years!
Ive been very impressed since joining almost 2 years ago. Great staff and up to date equipment.
I signed up for an apartment lease which included a gym membership. I paid $25 for the whole year so I didnt really care too much about the shape it was in. If I want 24/7 access, its an extra $10/month, otherwise they have weird hours (from memory, may not be 100% accurate: 6am-8pm M-TH, 6am-4pm F, 9am-2pm Sat, and closed on Sundays). In case youre looking to join here, I advise looking elsewhere. There is usually at least one broken machine (sometimes more!), the ladies locker room is...severely lacking. A lot of the lockers dont actually close properly, so even if you put a lock on it, you can still open the locker. Ive seen the same lock on a locker since Ive been going (almost a year now). You can hear the people running on the treadmills above you, but I swear, it sounds like they are going to fall through. They have a separate area for womens gym equipment, which is nice...but most of the machines in that room arent in the Co-Op. Theres a huge lack of ventilation, so you can usually smell everyone and the cardio room is either super hot in summer or youre under a heater vent in winter. Ive never been to any of the classes or the gym, so I cant say much for that. On a positive note, I usually get a hello and goodbye from the staff members.
Best gym around Kalamazoo.
The staff are nice. The equipment is borderline antique and crammed into a small room. Wifi in the weight room has been broken since I joined about 6 months ago.
Awful staff terrible communication and contract. Had a membership for a year and after the year ended I stopped going and still kept charging to my account. They said it was reoccurring which I did not agree to. They can see that I have not checked in for well over a year and yet did not reimburse me for the time I was not going. Told me I had to send an email to cancel, which they never disclosed when I signed up. Asked to speak to manager she said she was the manager and when I ask her for her name she did not give it. Asked to speak with the owner an gave me their generic email address. The woman kept interrupting me and would not let me explain. Would not recommend this gym based on the sketchy contract and rude staff. Also, when I did attend the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility was below average. Made sure I got a cancellation email so I have back up if they still keep withdrawing from my account. Will never go back.
The owner of this establishment is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I would highly recommend looking at other gyms in the area before you consider giving this place your business.
I have a two week free pass and I have generally no complaints about the facility
One of the best gym, but they have to extend the pool hours also, it’s only between 6.30am-9am only
I love to take time for my fitness. And Im glad that this fitness center exists just near our residence. I often visit this gym to lift weights and shed pounds.
Signed up for the free 14day trail to try something new other than planet fitness. Endurance gym seemed to have more to offer because of the sauna and pool. When I went in the first employee was friendly and showed me around. When I asked questions about pricing she instructed me to work out first and see if I liked it and to stop up at the table to talk about pricing when I was done and I agreed. My first thought of the gym was it was dirty and they hardly deep clean the place. Despite that I still wanted to give it a shot. After working out I went up to the table as instructed and told the desk person that I had questions. The desk person was a different person than the previous lady by this time and she was chatting on the phone and asked me to take a seat. This new person continued to finish her conversation on the phone with another employee completely bashing their boss. I learned the boss has a big stick up her ass because the employees are not filling out contracts correctly amongst many other nasty things about the boss. After 15 mins of hearing this conversation I decided to leave and never come back.
No hassles, no pressure to join. Love the water aerobics class!
Awful. disorganized staff, hours and class times. No pool on weekends. Difficult for a father to access pool with daughters without entering through mens locker room. Rude and unhelpful staff. Many bad experiences. Even closed the pool for the whole summer which was the primary reason we signed up. Im sure there are a lot of better places in Kalamazoo to work out.
Reasonable price for 24h access to a decent selection of free weights. Wish they had a rowing machine and a 2nd squat rack but you get what your pay for. If youre expecting the world from a gym, be prepared to pay 2-3x as much for a borgess/Bronson membership.
Looking for a 24-hour gym I was pleased with my tour
Its a small place, but the staff are really friendly. The machines are way out of date, but if you just need a place to go outside of your regular gym, having access 24/7 here is perfect.
It has great hours and often there are not fully functioning machines.
This gym is affordable and has nice amenities.
Never have to wait to use a machine. 24/7 access.
I love the workout rooms and the pool. Nice atmosphere.
Clean and neat. Good people
Not bad for the price. Recently cleaner which Ive noticed.
Great service! Amazing gym!
I had been a member of this club for 30 years or more ! I have always been respectful to other members and staff I did not like the fact that they passed dirty rags that had wiped up sweat from person to person and the sauna was disgusting ROSS WHERE ARE YOU?
Good gym but the Equipments little bit old
It is a great facility with plenty of machines to use!
This place is awful. In order to cancel a membership you have to email their address and then they lie about their cancelation fees. Fast forward to me trying to pay the cancelation fee, called them to pay over phone and they said to call back tomorrow. You serious? Worst gym ever.
Friendly staff, 24 hour access is super convenient
Is there a guy named Rick hes on steroids or a black guy named Carrey or an owner named Darren/Alisha?
Women Only sections. Clean. Helpful staff.
Good place to work out at.
Great place to work out in
Great staff!!
Friendly
Open 24hrs
I absolutely love this gym! Great equipment, fabulous staff, and if you are looking for a personal trainer, look no further! Call now and ask to see Mike. You will not regret it.
Really wish the gym staff would’ve told us that the pool has very specific hours and is not 24-hour access like the rest of the gym before we signed up for the $50/month package. There are only about 40 select hours a week you have access to the pool, including 0 access on Sundays. The rest of the gym is great, but if I’m paying $50/month for pool access then I expect more access to the pool than just a few hours a day.Edited and took this gym down from 3 stars to 1. It’s just so gross. They have one single box fan in every workout area and it’s filthy, they all look like they’ve never been cleaned, let alone replaced. You’d also think that considering we’re STILL IN A PANDEMIC, the staff would provide more than 2 rags per room to wipe down machines with. It’s DISGUSTING touching the same rag everyone else has used to clean their sweat and grime. This gym is such a disappointment for the price - $50/month for my fiancé and I. The pool area is a joke. It’s extremely outdated and not even the proper size to do any real swimming in, also not well maintained. You’d think with a facility of their size, they would put a little more care and put a little more effort into ensuring cleanliness, especially given the current times.
