Fantastic. Not only are they one of the only places in town to go, they are also one of the best. I’ve been trying to learn about computers while building a base level gaming computer. I ran into problems like power consumption and connection issues. I worked with Justin most Often and he is beyond friendly and professional: he is helpful and considerate. I could have paid any amount but they are honest enough to charge the right amount which was very reasonable. They accommodated my situation AND helped me load up my computer in my car!!! Quite late for this one, but Ive done business with them on the past and theyve done a great job!-Firstly, they replaced an old broken fan in my laptop, even with the temp fan they put in before ordering a new one it worked great!-Later when I build my own PC, they not only provided me with a SATA cable to fit my other HDD, but they provided it on the house because they just have so many lying around at no cost.-Ive brought things in and had them checked out and asked for advice, also at no cost, they seem to be a business that is more built around passion then profit, and that, is a rarity these days.You guys are awesome

There are very few places, especially during the era of COVID, that actually have the customers best interest in mind. I called Computer Guild to inquire about coming in and within a minute of speaking with me, Nathan was able to diagnose what was happening with my tower. This saved me going across town as well as spending money on the deposit fee for such an easy fix. Had a concerning incident with my bank account being hacked. Talked with Joe, he gave me steps to take. Michael was the technician who I talked with on phone and who looked into my computer searching for anything abnormal and made updates. They were able to work mobile during COVID-19. The prices for service are more than fair. If someone doesnt know much about computers an easy comparison is they are the same as a trustworthy car mechanic.

A friend recommended the Computer Guild to me. I use a computer all the time but Im really bad when it comes to computer technology. If any thing goes wrong I need help. Ive gone to them 4 times and they have fixed the problems immediately at the counter and their was no charge. They said theyed be happy to help me pick out a new computer, and they dont sell computers. I heard from a friend this was a great affordable computer repair business, I took my laptop in to get a power adapter replaced, but everything else worked, I went to pick it up after they “repaired” my laptop and it wouldn’t even turn on after they were done with it, do not trust this business with your computer they will say they fixed your device but in reality they make your laptop unable to function, and you’ll end up having to buy a new device, this place is known for terrible customer service, and is very unorganized I am very disappointed and angry with my experience at computer guild and I don’t recommend this business to anyone unless you want to make your devices problem even worse.

Very good place sometimes a bit expensive...but for the most part they do great PC Repair work. But, they do seemingly keep your PC....way too long. In my humble opinion.

The Computer Guild staff are extraordinary. Ive taken my laptops to them for several different kinds of issues. Theyre reliable, patient with my limited tech expertise, able to explain in a way that I understand, ready to help with repairs, updates, or advice, and even when there are questions afterward or lingering glitches, they cheerfully help over the phone or in person, making sure everything is complete. Cant recommend them enough. UPDATE: Since then Ive had trouble with Microsoft Office and with a new printer. Computer Guild staff figured out and took care of both issues. Again, great service!

I dropped my computer off a couple days ago and they told me that there was a bench fee for $45 to figure out what was wrong with my computer. I had just bought all the parts for a $2000 computer And one of the parts was dead on arrival. I had it narrowed down to the processor the motherboard or the start up button when I dropped it off. This Sunday I stopped and picked up my computer and they told me that they didn’t Do the one thing that I paid them $45 to do. They told me that they had ran every test that they had and they narrowed it down to the motherboard processor or the start up button. They didn’t have the tools to test my processor or my motherboard or my start up button. Could you imagine that a place that fixes computers but doesn’t have any computer parts. In conclusion I paid them $45 to do nothing. I am very disappointed and it was a 100% waste of time and money I do not recommend this place at all especially if you don’t know much about computers.update: it was the power supply they didnt even mention that, it took a guy with a voltmeter two minutes to figure it out at a better computer place

I had a wonderful experience. I took my computer in and explained the situation, based on symptoms and an internet search. They explained about a $45 diagnostic fee but could be applied to the labor/parts. They were able to order the parts and get the computer back to me in 3 days and its working GREAT!! Would highly recommend this company. :)

We brought in our older computer that was having issues starting. The employees explained what they would do, when they would do it by and the costs. Very upfront with everything. The issue was fixed. Customer service was excellent! Highly recommend them.

First impression 10/10I was adding an M.2 for the first time and I thought I needed another screw so I called them up and I brought in the screw, a little computer wizardry and he pulled a screw out of the screw so I did have two screws but I didn’t know what I was doing and they are the pros. I fell with my computer in my backpack and the metal by the power button completely bent up, I couldnt turn my computer on. But then I took it in and Eric was super helpful and considerate and then gently shaped the metal back into place and my laptop is now happy and healthy! And since it was a quick fix, he didnt charge. Highly recommend!!!

My custom built computer went black on me out of nowhere one day and would not boot up. Computer Guild had it for a week running all kinds of diagnostics on it to isolate the source of the problem (which they did), and when I got my computer back, I knew what to do, and the bill was only $25! These guys were friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. Ill definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with these guys. I built a new gaming PC but it kept crashing. After exhausting my googling efforts I called The Computer Guild. Brian was great over the phone in describing the process they would use to diagnose the problem, the cost, and the estimated timing. Long story short they reproduced the crash conditions, discovered a loose GPU power connection, and confirmed it was good to go via extensive stress testing. I’m very grateful for their help.

Excellent service at a good price.One place gave me an estimate of $75-125 for a re-setting of the CPU and some cleaning. Dont send your computer away for 6-8 weeks. Take your rig up to The Computer Guild and they will get you up and running faster than Sunday biscuits and gravy.

My gaming laptop fried its motherboard and some of the memory hardware was damaged. They gave me the best price I could find and let me know what was going on with my computer every step of the way. I have a rare computer, but they tracked down, ordered and shipped the motherboard from China (the only place that makes them) and replaced my memory for me. If I ever have any problems with my tech in the future, this is my first stop!

A comedy of errors, or tragedy. Terrible communication skills, one hand doesnt know what the other is doing. My computer worked when I took it to them, then it didnt. I bought a new one. They copied files from the old to the new, but they were all empty. Can we get one thing right?

This is the first time Ive ever written a review but these guys deserve all the praise in the world. Im in love with this computer shop. they know what theyre doing and the customer service is actually genuine. They walk you through everything and actually care about fixing your laptop and how to help you specifically. I have never seen a better computer shop and its by far the best thing especially compared to best buy where the smiles are fake and the actually diagnoses is well nonexistant. Here they treat you like youre a person.

Professional and customer focused to say the least! I walked in with my laptop that was having all sorts of weird issues with internet connectivity and communicating with websites leaving my macbook pro nearly useless. While I filled out the necessary paperwork, the guy figured out my time and date was off by 2 years. He corrected it and everything works great now! I was prepared to pay even a small amount for his help, but he didnt want to charge me. I will be coming back in the future!

Terrible. I took a PC in there. They quoted me $150 over the phone. A few days later they quote me $400. We pick up the PC and they didnt even return the charging cord which made me drive across town once again to get the charger. When inquiring about the $400 repair bill. They stated they were replacing the Hard Drive with a 256 gig Drive when I specifically told them I needed a very small cheep drive. Nothing fancy. Also quoted me for a battery replacement and a OS install. I specifically told them I would install the OS myself. They didnt explain to my father all this stuff they just told him $400. After talking to them today when picking up charging cord. They were puzzled why the $400 was quoted. Then pulled out a number like $340. and then explained why. I told them AGAIN that all i needed was them to either tell me if the hard drive was bad or just replace the HD and that was it. Oh well. since we charged you $75 for data recovery i guess we can replace the drive for $60. IF Any Chance in hell ide let these idiots work on my PC ever. That would be another 2 trips across town to drop it off and pick it back up. Thanks but no thanks I should have known better to trust ANY computer repair shop and just do the damn work myself.

I have been meaning to write a review for Computer Guild for a long time. Late last summer, I brought in my work desktop PC due to it running slowly and showing an error message at every turn-on. They said the computers fan was broken. They ordered a new one and told me it would cost $85. I gave them the ok. They finally got the fan in, replaced it, and then called me to tell me my computer no longer would turn on. They still wanted to charge me the $85 after practically breaking my computer. I told them no, and they kept my computer. The PC would run and work ok prior to bringing it to Computer Guild, and they broke it and kept it because I wouldnt pay the $85. So, you could say that they wanted to charge me $85 to break my PC. They still have it to this day. I lost a good PC out of it, so I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. I wish I could give zero stars.

I was having issues with my custom desktop build and took it to them to troubleshoot. staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and i was in and out in no time at all. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future if i have any more computer issues.
