Not really too much to describe, The staff is alright, Depending on the stylist, They may cut your hair the way you like, Or (in my case) They may not know what to do to begin with.

The person who runs this place very clearly cares about their clientele. They are making every effort to make cutting hair safe and comfortable for people in this current environment. They understand that people are extra stressed and need some extra patience and care in order to feel safe getting haircuts. They also take the time to understand specific haircare issues and help find good product, making the extra cost well worth it.

Kate is my favorite by far, Ive been going there since I was 18 and I am not 25. She is a great conversationalist, and amazing at her job. She tried hard at getting exactly what you want. And shes just fun, always up for trying new things!

The stylist asked me what l wanted to have done today. I said clean up the ends with my hair being down to my mid back. And when she was done. It was up to my shoulders. Took 4to5 inches off !!Clearly not NOT happy !!

The care that I received was always above and beyond. They truly care. Kate is truly amazing at her job. I brought my granddaughter in who is 4, had an extremely large knot in her hair. Kate and her boss were so helpful. I would highly recommend if you want an awesome haircut and awesome people doing it. Go to SmartStyle hair salon in Kalamazoo on 9th st.

This place has an online appt Booker and will not acknowledge it. Very rude saying cant get you in. Like sorry about your luck. Never go there again.

Got my hair permed here. She used to weak of a solution the first try and the perm didn’t take. The second time it wasn’t really curly either and she used the wrong size rods. It’s just a mess and now my hair is massively dry.
