Paul is first rate! I’ve been taking my son for a couple years and Paul does an amazing job! He’s great with kids and really cares about the community.

I love Paul. He is more than a baber hes a friend. He will hit you up if its been too long since he seen you. I had got my hair cut twice by him before I had my son and he was the first to congratulation me after I posted it. This is a great place for kids. He take his time, conversations are age appropriate through out the shop.

So the owner drives a van with both tail lights out and the turn signals out. When I was in my bike behind him he slammed on his brakes to turn into his shop, causing me to lock up both my wheels and almost veer into traffic to avoid him. When I pulled into the parking lot to notify him that he almost killed me. He screamed at me, and threatened me saying if you dont want to die, you better get the hell out of here.Just want it to be known thats the type of business youre supporting when you go here.

As a girl thats had long hair her whole life, shaving my head was very intimidating. I had a friend training to be a barber, and I was his first time shaving a womans head. Afterwards, I came into Profyle to have it touched up. All of the staff were incredibly kind, and Bunny did a fantastic job on my hair! I think half the reason I love my hair is so much is because of how much she adored it! She even gave me tons of tips on how to style it, and wants to teach me how to use a curling iron! Overall a lovely little shop full of lovely people. The atmosphere and people alone make it worth checking out! Thank you, Paul and Bunny!

Great place for a haircut and shave and many other things. Master Barber Paul is great with the children, and of course they love the candy. I like that the shop is always clean.

Had the owner of the shop, Paul cut my hair. Had a great and welcoming experience, made sure to get it exactly like the picture I showed him and was very meticulous with each hair. Would recommend to anybody searching for a great barbershop.

Impressed with the capital investment in the front of the building. But, the real deal is the owners dedication to customers satisfaction with the haircut they expect. Thats what keeps me advocating for this shop for those who want to be LISTENED TO when they get a haircut, not a haircut mill. I am now a regular... period.

Great place to get a haircut. The barber (Paul Frazier Jr.) definitely has experience with all hair types and knows what hes doing. Great with kids, very patient and can give a great cut even if youre little one doesnt want one! Great cuts no matter what, male or female hes the man for the job. Excellent customer service and quality of work

They got my grandson in at the last minute the night before he was leaving to go out of town with his Mom for a family funeral. Jathon was very patient and worked well with him ( he is 3 & it was his first haircut). The only complaint is that his line was slightly off and the price was a little steep (but still worth it) for a childs cut.

Went up to International Profyle after I got a messed up cut at a different shop, and not only did Jathan Carter fix my hair, but he hooked me up with a better cut than I imagined. I called right before, and he got me in no problem. Very professional barbers, good prices. Id give Jathan 10 stars if I could. Definitely my new main shop!

In terms of the barber experience and quality of cuts, this place has no equal that I know of in Kalamazoo.The atmosphere is classic barbershop yet casual and very kid-friendly. I have never had a bad time in any way and I think they create an inviting space for just about anybody (race, gender, etc.)Haircut-wise I have seen a couple of different barbers and they all seem to be excellent craftspeople/artists in terms of their level of skill: they also seem comfortable with a wide variety of styles and hair types (I have personally seen them cut black, white, and latino hair with great results... Im sure they are up to any challenge in this regard). So far I havent seen them doing any femme cuts (long straight hair, braids, or locs, etc.) but I dont know for sure that they *couldnt* do anything...The *only* reason I docked a star is that they are only open 4 days a week, with _no_ online or voicemail appointment system. This can make it really tricky to book an appointment that isnt either really soon or relatively farther out. Between my work and childcare schedules, basically if I dont call *on Wednesday* Im not getting a cut that week, which can be frustrating.

I have been going to International Profyle Barbershop (IPB) for 20 years. Paul Frazier (Owner) has always made it a very family friendly atmosphere. IPB has the feel of an old timey barbershop with a modern day appeal.Mr. Frazier runs a very professional business as in he takes appointments which translates into your haircut never feeling rushed. On that note, he does now have two other barbers who take walk-ins as well as appointments.One of Pauls new employees (Bunny) is not only a barber, but she specializes in hair washing, removing/curing hair bumps, and giving an excellent head/neck/shoulder massage as an A La Carte service.So, If you are still searching for a barbershop, then give IPB a try. Rather you get a chance to sit in Pauls chair (he books up fast) or one of his employees chairs, you will be very satisfied as my son and I have been for two decades...Damon L...
