We couldnt be happier with JP Heating and Air Conditioning! We recently had installed: a furnace, air conditioner, humidifier and an ionization generator all of which represents a significant investment. JP H&C was recommended to us by our neighbors so we investigated and determined the company to be professional and trustworthy. Our evaluation was correct. Jason replied quickly with a visit to our home and to our request for recommendations and prices and answered all of our questions.Traci coordinated the process quickly and also answered all of our questions. Technicians Matt, Carson and Ben arrived on time on the day of the installation, worked efficiently and carefully, fulfilled our requests and also answered all of our questions. The entire process was smooth and painless for us. Michelle called us after the work was completed to make sure we are happy with the installation and to remind us to contact them anytime if we should have any questions or concerns. We have the highest respect for the team at JP H&C and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone contemplating hiring them to perform any of their services.

How service should be! We chose JP based on reviews and theyve clearly earned them. Everything seemed honest. Thats one of the most important things to me besides price. JP called before showing up on time & diagnosed quickly. Had us up and running again within an hour! After service was complete & he left, a detailed invoice was sent via email. Perfect! Thanks guys!

Tech came out very quickly and took care of us. We called back the next morning because there was condensate building up in the basement - they came back and took care of it at no extra cost, and even went the extra mile and repositioned my condensate pump and piping to be more efficient and it just flat out looks better! Jason then took the time to even offer to remove some of the old piping that was not being used from previous homeowners. What a guy! Seriously good people who stand by their work, and work quickly! They will hear from me again for servicing my furnace in the fall and all other AC maintenance needs.

Always a great experience. Having the routine twice yearly maintenance has kept us cool in the summer and warm in the winter without concerns. The one time I needed help (on New Years Day no less), I had prompt service. Thank you JP Heating and Air Conditioning for being there for us.

Super helpful, I was walked though a quick trouble shoot over the phone, found a blown fuse. Then he told me I could come get a fuse from him since he lived close. Showed up and he got me just what I needed. The fuse worked and now I’m cooling off. This was at 8:30pm other companies wouldn’t have helped out like that. Would highly recommend!!!

It was a humid 90 degree day and my AC quit sometime during the day while I was gone. I emailed Traci thinking she wouldnt see the email until the next morning since it was after hours. However, she responded very quickly. Jason came over within the hour and found the problem. He was going to go get the part and replace it that night, but it was already cooling down outside so I said the next day would be fine. Carson was out the next morning and replaced the faulty part. Having just brought a family member home from the hospital, JP Heating and Air Conditioning was so incredibly helpful and I very much appreciate their quickness to respond, their professionalism, and the incredible service. My existing unit was 24 years old, and was starting to wear. I wanted to upgrade from a 10 seer to a 13 seer. They listen to my needs, schedule my appointment and time of arrival and was there. The employees were courteous and friendly. I would refer them to family and friends.

I called because my furnace had been tagged by Consumers Energy due to crack in heat exchange. It was cold & the owner, Jason showed up very quickly. We were impressed with his knowledge & support. I do have to say that Tracy, who works in the office cinched the sale with her finding the financing that we could afford & work with. Electric heaters were dropped off to help keep us warm. The next day, Mark & John installed a new furnace for us and almost seemed like family. Im very happy with the service JP provided us. Our inspector missed a gas leak in our home that was due to improper piping. Consumers had to turn off our heat in the middle of winter! After fighting with our home warranty for a week, I called JP and they were quick and reasonable. Tracy was amazing and answered all of my questions. We had JP recommended to us by a co-worker after we received very high quotes for repair and replacement options from a large HVAC company in the area. We never felt pushed to do more expensive repairs or replacements and never felt we were being handled by sales people, as we did with the other company.JPs repairs were significantly cheaper than the other company. We tried to get by with a cheaper fix to our problems and eventually ended up doing a full replacement of our older furnace and AC unit. The replacement was thousands of dollars cheaper than the other company. Almost half the cost! And, Jason credited us for the cost of the replacement with some of the labor put into a previous repair.Jason and his technicians are professional, thorough, and friendly. They really seem to pride themselves in their work, and they spent a lot of time explaining our problems, how the determined their diagnosis, and what our options are. We were helped in a timely fashion, even on the weekend.Traci, in the office, was helpful and friendly and followed up with each visit to make sure we didnt have any concerns and were happy with the work we had done. Exceptional communication and service all-around. And our house is cool again!

Update 10/6/2020: it was 8 months ago that JP came out and assisted with my inducer motor repair and it still works flawlessly. I continue to use JP for regular maintenance and more recently to add in some HVAC ductwork for my basement / address a problem with my furnace not kicking on. Jason is just a top notch guy who is willing to do whatever it takes to make his customers happy and I greatly appreciate him and his team. I will be using JP in the future for everything HVAC related.Original post:My furnace broke on Friday night, after hours, and we were in need of an urgent repair (with a 6 month old in the house). My A/C stopped working on a 90+ degree holiday weekend. I called 3 places and only JP was able to give me an accurate quote for service. One place didnt call back until the next day. Jason was there within 45 minutes to get it going again. Be prepared to pay time and a half for after-hours service, and a fairly big markup for parts. A capacitor had to be replaced and ended up costing me just over $50 for the part alone. The A/C was working again well within two hours of my call.

My air conditioner stopped on a Thursday evening. With work and family stuff, it was a crazy Friday and didnt get to call anyone to find out what was wrong. I woke up Saturday and started emailing and calling whoever I could find on Google. Within one hour JP emailed and called!! It was refreshing to see a company so dedicated to getting to me. Three days later Im still waiting for these other companies to contact me. JP had my familys best interest at heart, which is a breath of fresh air, both literally and figuratively. Last night our furnace went out and it has been single digit temps all week. We were worried about our little girls making it through the night without any heat. Jason got back to us right away at 10 pm and helped us work out the problem. We were able to have our heat back on within an hour and will be using them to service our furnace tomorrow. UPDATED READ ENTIRE REVIEW: Poor experience, would not recommend. JP Heating was contracted by my builder to install a zoned HVAC system in a new home. Less than 1 month after C of O (June of 2015), entire system failed and was completely filled with water. Its our opinion that both the contractor and builder new of the risk and decided to proceed any way, owner even stated he warned builder of dangers due to high water table and proceeded to install anyway passing risk on to our famliy. Once the issue was finally corrected (at our expense) and outside temperatures continued to drop, we quickly realized that the Tempstar furnance that was sold to us (even though builder told us via email wed get a Bryant). wasnt capable of evenly heating the home with there being 10-15 degree temperature variances within the same zone.RESPONSE TO OWNER: You were fully aware of everything you were dealing with and put us in the middle of a finger pointing session between you and the builder multiple times stating he was told about the dangers and advised you to move forward. When we started this process when asked about the reputation of the Tempstar product you used you name and reputation as the warranty we could count on. We relied on your word and values which proved to be a grave mistake. We have had multiple licensed contractors in the area come through for suggested repair methods and each of them confirmed that you were borderline grossly negligent. Hopefully you learn from this experience and do not do this to another family as it was almost a $10,000 repair bill to us.
