I was skeptical about having it rebuilt versus replaced with a new one but owner explained process to me and I choose to rebuild. It was more than i was expecting but receptionist was very honest in the beginning that it could happen and after researching and talking to other professionals it all checked out. it’s been 3 months now, no issues so I’m okay with spending a little more to have peace of mind. 🙏👍🏻

NIghtmare experience. They had my car for over 2 months and never fixed it. I finally had to sell it to them for parts. They would not return phone calls or keep me up to date as they continually promised. They lied to me repeatedly. They seem nice, but lying to a customer isnt very nice, is it? You should stay far, far away.

Transmission went out on my blazer and I’ve been out of work for almost a year. I called and talked to Becky who offered to let me use her personal triple aaa so I could get my car there to have it checked out. I was in town doing a job the clutch went out on my Jeep. Was in a jam because I needed the car to drive home to TN for my sister’s baby shower. They had it done in one day. Price was a little steep but considering the fast turnaround time it was understandable. The girl at the front desk was helpful and cute as hell.

The young lady who works at this store is a dear. On my way home from the market with a car full of groceries I hit something and all kinds of fluid was coming out of my car. I stopped in and she not only helped me transfer all of the groceries in to her car, arranged a ride home, sent a mechanic with me to boost my daughters battery so i could have access to a car while mine got repaired, and came in on a Saturday ( her day off) to accommodate my schedule so I could pick my car up. Had transmission rebuilt on my ‘87 corvette. Also was able to negotiate fixing draw on battery, valve cover gaskets, AC compressor, fuel filter, and charged with Freon for under $2k! Brought my 2005 Ford F250 to these guys for a transmission rebuild. Mark and Debbie were very friendly and easy to deal with. They did a great job on the truck had it finished in about 3 days and Mark was even nice enough 2 hold my truck for a week or so at no charge while I was coming up with the money. Just brought truck back after 2 months for a check-up that they requested and everything is A okay. I would definitely recommend them 4 your auto repair needs especially their professional transmission rebuilds. Less than a year ago I had the transfer case replaced on my truck by my normal mechanic, who come to find out after I saw oil leaking from the transfer case area closed his shop. I brought my truck to Atlantic and the mechanic checked it out and recommended replacing it. Not able to afford the cost of yet another transfer case they went above and beyond to find a solution that worked for my car and my pocket.

My AC went out and I was panicked but Mark and Chris were so helpful and really worked with me on the price saving me over $500 in the end. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs to have work done. I was timid because of the reviews BUT I am so glad I took a chance, place has been in business for over 40 YEARS no way they could stay in biz for that amount of time ripping people off. My experience was supurb and would DEF recommend, dont listen to those negative comments TRUST me you and your wallet will thank me!!!!

Becky and Mark are great and really helped me out in a bind. Had the transmission rebuilt and a control module replaced on my audi after the dealer tried charging me over 8k for the same stuff!!!

I was headed home to Orlando from Miami on Thursday and at 10 am my car broke down near the Jupiter Exit. I called Atlantic and they had my car towed to their shop all within in a hour. They told me the transmission had gone and needed to be rebuilt. The owner talked to me and explained exactly what was wrong and told me that he understood I was out of town and to help me out would expedite the job and said he could have it done the next day so I could make it back home. I called around to get some different quotes and in the end Atlantic saved me $700.00 and had the transmission working like new.

If I could give them Zero stars I would. They tell you one price and end up doubling it, they charge you for parts they never replace, they will not give you an itemized receipt, even though its the law, they are thrives and liars. Do not trust them.

The truck posted on their web site was on Craigslist. Stated new transmission and transfer case. Being sold by George. Called and took it for a ride. I purchased it from the owner of this business which was on the title.52 miles later the transmission goes. I call the number I had for George and no response. I called the business twice and they told me no George there.The woman called me back and asked if I was responding about a Craigslist ad. I told her I purchased the truck from George. She said oh thats not his name, his name is Mark.Well Mark, George told her I bought it as is, but he would give me a break if I tow it to his shop.Yeah right, you sell it as a new transmission, and youll give me a break?Just what I need, get maybe 100 miles on it and another break?By the way George/Mark, whatever your name is, there was no oil in it also. Great mechanic. I hope you sleep well at night.

We have been using Atlantic Transmission for the repairs of our company trucks. all service has been done on time and great pricing.the very friendly staff is nice to work with.

So our transmission died on the turnpike and we got towed to a place in Jupiter but that place told us it would be over 2k to fix it. So we found Atlantic on the internet and they said they would have it towed over. The guy told me it would be towed that afternoon or the first thing the next morning, it didnt get there until around 11:00. When i originally spoke to him. he said it would run around 800 to 850. After he dropped the transmission to look at it the price went up to 1350. Thats a huge jump from his original estimate. When we came back to get the car the price had gone up to over 1600 dollars. Then we found out that the warranty is only good for 3 months or 3000 miles where as the standard is 6 months. Hope he wasnt trying to tell us something about the work with his unusually short warranty. I would not recommend him. although the lady that works at the desk is very nice.

I went to Atlantic Transmission in Jupiter a few days ago. My car had broken down on the side of 95 and I was stuck. I am new to the area so I did what anyone would do... search the internet. After calling a bunch of mechanics nearby, and describing what happened, I thought I was going to have to buy a new car. This transmission repair was going to cost a few thousand dollars. The car wasnt even worth that much! Finally I called Atlantic Transmission. They had it towed in (for free) and I got a call that evening. They would be able to get my car back on the road for way less than $1000. And I could pick it up in the morning! Sometimes you just get lucky!

Just look at the reviews, more 1 stars then anything else. The good reviews are most likely there friends. If I could give zero stars I would. Scam artists and poor at it but for some reason I trusted my dad on his word. Literally the most messed up place I’ve ever been to. Up charged me 1000 dollars without telling me until it was done. I never ever write reviews about anything, but these people need to be know that these people are nothing more then scum, go anywhere else but here. Talked to the owner to, he knows he’s a scam artists and doesn’t care once he gets your money. Again, DO NOT GO HERE, literally anywhere else

Rebuilt transmission in my impala and now it is shifting like its new. after driving for a week or so i noticed a small leak brought it back and they corrected the problem without any issue.

Really bad people and bad service. Mark called me while he was drunk multiple times and Debbie is a terrible person as well. This business should not be allowed to get away with what they do. This is an honest review of my experience. Do NOT bring your vehicle here you will definitely regret it. What goes around comes around, I hope this business closes.

The owner Mark hepled me out so much on my transmission, I had been to different shops and the kept giving me the run around and a high price, I explained to him what was going on & took it in. Done they fixed problem and Truck is back up and running at a good rate, thanks bud.

So my cars transmission finally gave out. I took it to two places that gave me an outragous estimate! I found Atlantic on google and gave them a call. I had my car towed in and they offered a fair price on rebuilding it, after the other shops said i had to buy a new one. I had it back in two days and shes running great. I would recomend them and use them again myself.

Atlantic always takes care of my car, and I have great trust in what they say and suggest. They have saved me thousands over the years between oil changes, tires, and body work.

If i could rate 0 i would go for it!!! They scammed us and we could do nothing about it! They charge the insurance and the customers the same amount! Stating it does not cover.I would not recommend thia to anyone. Please be aware of horrible places like this!
