Good as rental car places to go, theyre charging $50 a day for a car which is understandable during the pandemic but certainly not as affordable as it used to be. Thats inflation. Now if we could get the income to match the inflation.
We have rented from here over the last several years. We have enjoyed are service there. They give pretty fair rates. It does help though to check their website for deals first. Our favorite for comfort and affordable, is the Nissan Altima. The gas mileage was great. At one point if I drove careful, the car would get 42 miles per gallon.
Austin went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my rental.
The gentleman that helped us was amazing. The vehicle however, was not cleaned very well, there was dirt and grim on the INSIDE of the windshield and the middle console. There were checks in the middle console from previous customers and trash, cigarettes and q-tips from someone else. Again the guy that set us up was amazing, very friendly and got us in the vehicle fast and drop off was a breeze. We usually use AVIS but decided to give enterprise a try and was disappointed in the vehicle part only.
I had reserved a car several days in advance. When I arrived at 7:30 am to pick it up. I was told they didnt have a car available. Supposedly someone hadnt returned a car on time. No solution other than I could wait to see if it showed up. I couldnt wait. I had to be at a Dr.appt.
Very good customer service... Enjoyable ride!
I used the app to make a reservation for the same day due to car trouble. I set the time and went to pick up the car. I was informed that they did not have any vehicles available for the same day. I explained my situation and the manager came out and informed me that it may be about 4 hours before I might be able to obtain a rental. I informed him that I had no where to go since I didnt have a about an hour later, the manager came over to me and informed me that they had received a cancellation and even though it was not the vehicle size that I had reserved, it was available right now. I accepted the vehicle and was on my way. The staff kept me informed and updated without my having to ask for an update. Great staff.
I was involved in a car accident at no fault of my own. His insurance was covering my car. I entered the establishment and gave the gentleman my Id and debit card. He then proceeded to the back to consult with his manager. He returns and tells me he can’t rent to me because my identification card has tape on it, and then walked away. When he returned to the front he answers phone calls while I’m still standing there confused. Once he got off his phone call he tells me “yeah we won’t be renting to you”. I told him to get his manager. When she comes out I explains to her that I travel and rent cars all the time with my is, and i wasn’t sure why she couldn’t accept it? She said it’s been a lot of fraud in the area and wouldn’t accept it. I advised her that I could go get my passport in addition to my drivers license. She told me NO and pushed my id and debit card towards me and told me I could leave. She was extremely disrespectful and had no intentions on helping me. There was no reason to turn me down. In addition to this being a insurance claim, me offering my passport, and drivers license. I’ve been renting with enterprise for 5+ years and have never been treated this way. I DO NOT recommend this location. On top of me being in a tragic accident I am also not able to get around THANKS Enterprise!
The Rangeline location is our go to for all things car rentals. I have used them for years and always had a great experience with them. Highly recommend!
No longer my choice. I have rented exclusively from Enterprise for years. However my last 2 rentals they have had not had what I reserved when I arrived to pick up my rental. They wanted to downgrade me each time with no offer of the price difference. I declined the 1st time and had to argue that I was not accepting that and that I was not paying the difference for an upgrade. I should have been notified my reserved rental of choice was not available and then I could have made a decision. My next reservation was for a truck. Upon arrival they did not have a truck which is what I needed on this particular rental. They tried to put me in a very small SUV with no offer of compensation for the price difference for trying to force me to downgrade. Naturally I declined. They made no other offers. I ask do you have a cargo van? They finally came up with a small one that I had to make work for what I needed the truck for. I do understand that can happen sometimes. When that happens a customer should be called. A very simple thing to do. Years ago when they did not have my rental of choice they automatically upgraded me with sincere apologies. Naturally I was very happy to receive a free upgrade. The person that waited on me for my last rental was new. It was his 1st day on the job. He went back to his manager a couple of times while trying his best to get me satisfied. My disability and the main reason I will no longer use Enterprise as my 1st and exclusive choice in car rentals is that the manager did not come out of their office to help this new person on their 1st day and try to help satisfy me or at least offer an apology. Such a. Sad display of customer service.
Totaled car on the way home from a trip, went at open to get a vehicle. Had reservation with insurance company, they wanted me to pay them instead of waiting on insurance. Booked me with a car that was double than my insurance covered… obvious now why they wanted me to pay up front when insurance was supposed to. Probably not a bad enterprise if your familiar with this process, but if your a newbie like I was, don’t expect any favors from this store.
Enterprise in Joplin has been a life saver! The manager Stormy and her employees Kylour, and Mike, have been extremely helpful! The day I came to get a car they were on lock down but still helping their customers even those one of their morning customers had threatened to harm them. The police were their but they put me and everyone waiting for cars as a main priority! That is some true dedication and I can not say how amazing that is to see!! Im so sorry they had to go through that! I dont why there are such ugly people out there that have nothing better to do then ride around on some high horse thinking everyone is there to kiss their feet. The Joplin store is NAILING IT! Keep up the hard work! Ill be renting from you anytime I need a car in the future!
They really are the best bet for car rentals in Joplin. The employees are great and the cars are too. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is because they are always short staffed, resulting in having to stand in line for over an hour each and every time you rent or return a car. It does not do any good to make an appointment. Nor will they deliver a car to you like the ads used to say. Over the years I have rented from them on many occasions and this seems to be a chronic problem. The worse part is they only have a few chairs, and they are not where you can sit down if you are on line. So come prepared to stand for a long time. Other than that they are wonderful. If they ever get this problem resolved theyll get five stars.
Made a reservation for a van a few weeks prior to our family vacation, get there to pick it up the employee asks for my license I tell him the address is not the current as I hand it to him and tell him the current one which is the one I made the reservation with. He says due to the policy being updated in December that he cant rent to us because the address on the license cant be verified and he could be fired if he let us, my wife asked if we could verify the current one, no we must use the one on the license, isnt that fraud lying about the address ? We are still so confused. Had we have known we could have had our license updated of course on a Saturday afternoon the dmv is closed so no way to get it changed on our license and were leaving for vacation Sunday. No one called or sent a email stating what would be needed, we rented last summer with the same license that the address wasnt current then either and had ZERO issues. I called customer support after leaving and they just said to put all my information in online and use the old address. Were just taking our own car thanks for saving us $1300+
I rented a car from enterprise and without realizing that they close at 3 instead of 6 I wasn’t going to make it back in time. I called them, and Andrew said that he would wait for me to get there. He went beyond his call of duty to help me out! This was the best customer service I’ve ever received from any business! I would highly recommend Enterprise to anyone and without a doubt won’t hesitate to rent another car from them again!!
I reserved a premium car several weeks prior to my pick up date but was not available at my reservation date ime. However, they upgraded it and took some off the price to make up for it. So all good.
Started of being picked up 15 minutes later then scheduled to drop off my car at the body shop. I had pick of the last vehicle left on the lot. There is a tag on the mirror bragging about how well they clean the vehicle yet it was filthy with a dirty dash and seats stained very badly. I took it to Dallas the next day and had the hood shaking badly on the truck. The suspension was also making noise. When I went to gas up the cap was not attached to the truck. The manager texted me that day to check on the rental. I told him my concerns about the hood being loose and never got a response. It was evident that they did not care about the safety of their renters. I realize now that Enterprise should be avoided.
The staff was very helpful and I would rent a car from them anytime 😊. They will treat you right ✅.
Very disapoimted in them been loyal customer my dad passed away in calf rented car in joplin got pulled over in kansas tags expired had to go to hays ks sleep in car for 6 hrs till open amanda there too good care of me gota flat tire going over donner summit had to change tire my self went to grass valley was told they were closing couldnt helpme till monday it was late saturday afternoon told me his tire guy was gone i ould go somewhere else enterprise would reimburse me i had to borrow a car to drive final 2 hundred miles to funeral monday his tire guy said come back at 3he will have tire he calls me said he willput on in morning i call roadside again they send me 50 miles to marysville to get tire when i get there they tell mecompany moved to sacramento another 75 miles we see a enterprise in marysville i was never told about they were closed but guy promised he take care of in morning and he did got back to joplin took 111 dollars off rate car sat from saturday afternoon till tues morning what a ripoff thank you for making it such a hassle and cost wise a ripoff just to say by to my dad
Nice employees, but, car was dirty inside. There were pistachio and sunflower seeds all over the car, as well as soda spills in cup holders. Car also wasnt filled up when we picked it up.
When I picked up my car, matter of fact every time I went in there Kylie was there working and they was extreamly busy making reservations, getting peoples rental car, dealing with people left and right people walking and the phone bone stop ringing. I was exhausted just watching ; however, Kylor McCartney was very professional and handled every situation that accured with quick and accommodating response.Thank you Kylor for the awesome car rental expirence.
The Joplin Rangeline staff is really nice, seriously they deserve 5 stars. I waited for 4 hours for a car.last weekend. There were people there that waited even longer then me and people that couldn’t even get a car due, to them being out of rentals. They had 4 employees in the building.. that’s it. The poor guys in the front did the best they could. I got stuck with a Chevy spark.. which is the size of a match box.. and could barley fit my clients in it. Then when I went to drop it off, they took away the drop off box. So they tried to stick me with another day of renting the car. Even though I dropped the car off the night before and took the keys in at 7:30 am the next morning...
My rental started out horrible! When I picked up the car it took a while to get through the noon rush. If I would have known how busy that place is at 12 I would have definitely reserved for 1-2pm! I received a free upgrade from the manager there. I think her name was Stormy or Stoney. She was absolutely wonderful. She gave me a discount for having to wait. The part that was bumpy was I had started my trip, about half way through the tire light had come on but I was already to far away for stormy to help me. She told me I could stop in at a good year or fire stone that way I wasn’t having to pay out pocket for a tire repair. Unfortunately at that moment there wasn’t a good year or Firestone near by. However there was a Walmart. The manager called the roadside service but it would take longer for them to come out then for me to just pay out of pocket at Walmart. She told me to go ahead and use the Walmart and she would reimburse me when I got back in town. This lady not only reimbursed me but doubled it! She saved my trip and my mind. As this started out as a bad experience soon turned into me choosing the Rangline location for all future rentals I need to do!! Thank you enterprise!!
Needed to swap out a rental from a related company that had a tire leak. I confirmed what type of car I had with the local Enterprise representative, was told they had one available and to come in and they would swap me out. Then when they realized I was swapping out due to tire issue with related company rental they spoke with manager and told me they didnt have any vehicles available. Told me to call north store who also had no vehicles available as soon as I told them the swap was from a related company.
What has happened to my local Enterprise? I am a long time customer and rent many vehicles. In the past 3 or so months the service has really declined. The reason one reserves a car is so that the car will be ready for them at the appointed time. My most recent rental was not going to be available until well after I needed it, so I moved it to the next day. Next day, still no car available, it was coming from another town. Luckily, someone returned a truck so I didnt have to wait. While I was waiting for them to clean the truck, the secretary was busy calling customers asking if they could wait for their reservations until later in the day. At one point, in September, I was denied one of my rentals. I very often rent more than one car as we are a large family. In fact, just a week before I had rented two cars. The employee told me no one ever rented more than one vehicle, EVER. It was against the rules. So how come no one has mentioned that before when they rented me two vehicles ? I am all for rules but I have to know what they really are so I can plan accordingly. I dont even know if she knew what she was talking about. She said she asked the manager, but you would think the manager could and would speak for himself. Especially since she said it was his first day. I was later told no manager had been on site. The rental before this current one, I had the car for 18 days. I returned it at 7:30 a.m. so I wouldntbe charged for another day. They didnt check it in until after 1:00 p.m., so yes I was charged for 19 days. When I returned my rental today, I filled it up with gas, as I was supposed to do. They dinged my deposit for 1.9 gallons of gas. Is business so bad, that when the gauge says full you run the car to the gas station to charge a little more ? I never write reviews, but something is wrong at this Enterprise location. The staff is friendly and seems to be trying, but things are not going well.
The wait to get my car was unexpected. After having a noon appointment I assumed a car would be waiting for me. I waited about 30 minutes for them to have a car ready. I reserved a premium car but they had nothing but a small SUV. I picked a smaller car for the fuel economy and would have liked a discount for the increased gas that was required from a larger vehicle. I was however going to be late returning my car and called the office to let them know. They were OK with it but ended up charging me $30+ for 3 hour late fee. I guess that is on me but it might have been cheaper to just get the car an extra day. Overall, I was generally pleased with the rental and will rent again in the future.
We had reserved a 15 passenger van, but the day we were to pick it up it was not available. The staff at the Joplin store were very helpful and worked it out so that we ended up with 2 vehicles for our trip.
I was very pleased with service we received from Enterprise, Joplin MO. A special Thank you to Kyle McCartney for taking care of us. He helped make our vacation safe! He also helped us when we had to extend our time due to the bad weather disaster in Texas! Thank you Kylor for taking suck good care of us!
Twice now Ive held on the phone 15 minutes to get info specific to this branch, only to have recording tell me the call cant be transferred, then disconnects. Long time Enterprise customer, 3rd time at this branch. Always long waits.
Overall I am pleased with Enterprise and the Joplin office. I would say that they need to do a much better job cleaning the windshield on the inside of the vehicles. I frequently have to do this myself on the rentals. Frankly, I would rather jam e the windshield clean than the exterior of the car...an application of Rainx would be good too. Only other suggestion would be an actual fast checkout for frequent renters on the app.CJB
Enterprise helped to make our vacation less stressful. Simple statement but let me explain. Hurricane Sally caused changes in our travel plans. We were moved seven times till we had accommodations that we could use with no damage. 125 miles east of our original destination. Enterprise was the only constant and gave us the tranquility to save our vacation from complete ruin. Thank You to all of the associate staff for saving us. Will definitely be returning for future rentals. B
Reserved a week in advanced. Waited there for 1hr and half for them to clean a car
This branch is amazing the people who work there even during these trying times they go above and beyond to help. Excellent
I always have a great experience at the Enterprise in Joplin on Rangeline. This last time I went, Kylor McCartney worked with me and had awesome Customer Service skills. They always take good care of me there. Thanks!!!
Car was great, we have never had a problem with them, the only thing was when I turned in the car I want to use a different card and was not given the option to do so.
Quick and easy to rent a car. Especially since my insurance company paid for it!
Very friendly and the car was clean. Only complaint is its been over a week and i still havent received my deposit back.
Great service. Very busy location but the staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Extremely good staff extremely good management very courteous very outgoing thumbs up
I used to rent roughly a car a month from here but with recent policy changes and the lack of customer service, I probably will only rent from here in emergencies. Just waited an hour and a half just to be told they couldnt rent to us after all. Made my reservation over 2 months ago. Absolutely ridiculous waste of time. Had to postpone a trip and lost deposits thanks to this location.
I pre-arranged to have my SUV for pickup at 9:00 on a Saturday morning. I even received a phone call where I verified I would be there around 9:00. I arrived about 9:10. There was someone else in line who had not pre-arranged everything and was just a walk-in. I was asked to sit and wait, and told that it would be about 15 minutes. I waited and saw an SUV pull out, but it was given to the other people. I then asked and I was told they were still cleaning out my car. It was now after 9:30. I had requested Sirius in the car, and now I was told that to get Sirius, I would have to take a Nissan Maxima. I asked if it was ready. Ten minutes later, it came out. Now, on the road a half hour later than I intended, I was told Sirius would work about 15 minutes into my drive. 30 minutes into my drive, it was not working, so I called and they got it to work. Finally, when we went to pick up our personal vehicle which had been left on the lot, the license plate had been stolen, and an attempt was made to steal the catalytic converter. When we called Enterprise, we asked if they could check the cameras for us. We were told someone would get back to us. No one did. We called two other times, and no one ever got back to us. Finally, the detective in charge of our case was able to review footage. It was not a good experience and I most likely will not use Enterprise again.
When I arrived they couldnt find my reservation. Lucky, I had the information and eventually got it taken care of. The care I had was just dropped off and it was run through the wash, but the interior was dirty and had not been wiped down, nor windows cleaned, there was a heavy film buildup on it..impossible to dive at night. I was very surprised as I have never had a problem before, I did call back in to make them aware They were amazing at getting me extended out a day or so as I still needed the car.
First time renting from them and not the best experience. I reserved an mini van 2 weeks prior to our vacation date and when the time came for pickup, they didn’t have any available. If a vehicle is not gonna be available that date and time at least let the customer know before that schedule date or while they are selecting a vehicle.
Spotless waiting room plenty of sanitizer and masks if you are like me and forget it. Great vehicle and fast friendly service. Great job. Will be back again. 5*
Everyone was helpful and very polite, but, a little more time could be afforded going over the details of how these newer cars operate. am i the only one who rents a car 5 years newer than my own? things change fast
They say theyve had management issues, but Im still waiting to see improvement. Dirty cars for 3 out of the last 6 cars (have pictures). You cant park in the lot or youll be towed, so if you dont live near or have alternative transport, you have to park at Home Depot. Also, forget about reservations. I book for work and usually a month out. Had a recent situation where I had a reservation, they call me Sunday to confirm (still have the VM) and then when I get there they say its first come first serve and they have no cars. Then asked me to drive to Springfield. Quite frustrating when you travel for work...and that pesky thing called a reservation. They continually get slightly better, but looks like they are in a transition period. Plan ahead for some wait times. Hopefully can increase this rating as some things change.
Pick up of the vehicle was smooth as silk. Drop off had a problem. Way over charged. They fixed it. Vehicle was nice. It was a huge upgrade, from full size car to Ford Expedition. Need a little customer service coaching on listening to the guests problem. Overall a good experience, with an exception of the billing issues.
Enterprise has always been my number one car rental company because they do go the extra mile. However, they do not accept Direct Express Debit Cards for deposits which is how I get paid and was a major inconvenience. Their fleet of vehicles is very impressive with the latest 2021 Chevrolet SUV models and are loaded with ALL the extras! Enterprise picked me up and rolled out the Red Carpet!
Rental price was good for a week. Car was nice. Employees were very good. Only issue was I took out the insurance for $25 a day. Should be offered a weekly rate for insurance since it was a week rental. Charging by the day is a rip off!
I recently rented a car from Enterprise in Joplin MO and it had been a few years since my last rental but they still had my information saved including my nickname which made me feel like I was important. The check in and out were fast and the deposit was back on my card the next day. Thanks guys for doing a fantastic job.
As a repeat customer, I walked in this day to pick up car and received a upgrade at no additional cost, which I appreciated the extra leg room, seeing I had to travel 7 hours for work - staff was professional and I was glad to see they had Covid precautions in place. Clean dependable cars at Enterprise is always a given. Thanks for all you do!
Joplin Mo Enterprise Rent-a-car is the best place in our area to rent a car. They have been very professional and a pleasure to work with. I will continue to use their services.
The rental procedure was seamless and easy. The rental agent was polite and friendly. Great customer service. The car was beautiful and immmaculate. I was able to return it without any problems. Will be back.
I reserved a vehicle a week ago from this location and received a call an hour before my pickup time letting me know that not only is the vehicle I reserved unavailable but there are no vehicles at all on the lot. Left me scrambling to find another rental car fast. Very poor experience.
Was a wonderful vacation this year. We rented a SUV and it wasnt too big or too small. They met us outside to check us in and check us out. I will rent another car or whatever again!! I highly recommend Enterprise. If its not right, they will fix it!!!
I highly recommend them.
Excellent and speedy service. I rented a vehicle from PA for a trip to MO. While in MO we got a flat tire, but the Enterprise at Joplin switched us over to another vehicle with no hassle. Our attendant, James Malcolm, was extremely helpful and friendly, and got us back on the road in no time! Wonderful experience with this particular Enterprise and also the company as a whole! Thank you! And a special shout-out to James!
My reservation was for nothing. They called me the day before & confirmed. Yet when I got there to pick up, they had NOTHING! And said there was nothing they could do about it. I was expecting a car to take my grandson to childrens mercy in because theres no room for a car seat in my car. There is no rating low enough for them!!
I rent every two weeks and have never had a problem. This time they took $100 of my deposit for car cleaning. The car was not trashed and nothing was left in it. Just a regular vacuum and car wash and the car would have been ready for the next customer. Very disappointed and now will be using a different car rental every two weeks for my business trips.
Last minute. And I mean I literally needed a car last minute on the weekend. I jumped online and made a reservation and was on the road within 2 hours. When I showed up to pick up the car the employees were so busy, (being summer time, and everyone being locked up from covid-19, people were wanting out of town!!) but they were so kind, patient, and took every step to ensure the safety of their customers. When it turned out that I needed the rental for an extra day, they were happy to accommodate me. The deposit was returned within 24 hours of the return of the rental with no problems at all. My husband and I highly recommend enterprise and will be using them again shortly in the future!!
Excellent customer service!
Good place to rent a car. Reasonable price and friendly staff. They are busy but do a good job.
I made a reservation with a reservation specialist on the phone to pick up in Joplin and return in Oklahoma. The reservation specialist asked if I was paying with a debit or credit card. I said debit card and she said that would be fine. I go to pick up the rental and they ask me for a credit card and was told it was in their policy they could only accept a credit card for a one way rental. I called enterprise on my way home and was told that no where in that locations policy did it state it had to be a credit card because I met the criteria. The person told me she was going to email the management team at the Joplin location to get it resolved and that they would get back to me as soon as possible and that they take this very seriously. That was on the 8th of August...its now the 14th. I havent heard a word. I did make other arrangements but it would have been nice to know that when I made the reservation so I wouldnt have been caught of guard. And it really would have been nice to hear from someone. I have rented from them before but I will take my business elsewhere even if I have to pay more.Edit: The regional manager for the Joplin location contacted me. He apologized for the delay in communication and he stated that the employee on duty was from a different location that had different policies in place and that the employee was incorrect about having to use a credit card since i met the criteria. I appreciate the follow up and wanted to also say that the employee that originally helped me was never rude or anything. He had good customer service and was sincere in his apology to not be able to use my debit card.
Anytime I need a rental I go to Enterprise!! Always get a clean great vehicle never had a single problem with vehicles and the staff is always so friendly. They try to get you in and out on the road as fast as possible, theyll even pick you up at no charge! Not a single complaint here and if you knew me youd know thats a BIG deal Lol 😁
The vehicle was not cleaned as well as it should have been. Stained interior and found another persons makeup in the back of the seats. The wait to receive service is a bit of a stretch. Vehicle was reliable and fit our needs though.
JD was very professional and delivered outstanding service. Even after some Karen caused a scene about the gas tank in her rental being too low to even get to the gas station. Keep up the good work!
I was only 3.5 miles from them and I couldnt get picked up because I was told they dont have any drivers available, if I had transportation why would I need to rent a car??? Also very poor selection of vehicles, I reserved a car, but on the day of my reservation I was told they only had minivans
Due to recent events I understand that there is a lack of ability to go in to places, so when I saw the booth outside saying to wait there to be helped I had no issues. The reason that this instance lost a star was because I had to wait 10 mins in 90 degree weather with my two children before anyone came to help. The agent was great and very friendly, but if I’m going to rent a car for a trip because mine has no AC, I really don’t want to stand in the heat to wait for that car. The second star was lost because I called earlier in the day for a sedan, and the man helping me said that they wouldn’t have any available until the very end of the day. Instead i used the app, and when I got there midday what did I receive? You guessed it, a sedan. This is not lack of availability. This is lack of willingness to bring in a vehicle from another location when you don’t feel you have to. I love using Enterprise, but don’t feel that I received their best service on this visit.
Rental was great. The one thing I noticed was employees were unaware of other near locations example Joplin employee did not know Monett location existed. The other thing I noticed was employee was unaware you could rent from one location and return to another. Probably should work on knowing these 2 things when becoming an enterprise employee
Very friendly people, great customer service.
I always use Enterprise and they have never let me down! They are very quick, time efficient on all steps, and provide excellent customer service!
My car was ready and the employees were very helpful. The only down side would be the location. Parking is precarious. I would recommend parking in one of the bigger lots close by and walking to the Enterprise lot.
Every time Im here I arrive 20-30 minutes past my pickup time and still wait almost an hour for my car to be cleaned and ready. I rent 1-4 cars a month from here and this locations shows consistently poor management. I would rent from National or someone else Id there were any competition to Enterprise in the area.
Do not recommend. Did not clean before we rented and had sensors going off then had the gall to try and overcharge us.
I got into a wreck and I needed a rental for a while . I was happy with the vehicle and the guy that helped me he was so nice . Then when I got home and tried putting in my 1 year olds carseat it was snug . Then trying to put both kids in the vehicle it was crammed . So I called and asked if I can get something bigger . They said they didnt have anything . Call back tomorrow . Okay fine. The manager messages me and asks if im satisfied . I told him the issue and if I could get a bigger vehicle. Nothing back . Ive called multiple times through out the week and the last 2 ppl I talked to one of them I talked to 2 times and they acted like they hated their job . One of the times I talked to one of the 2 ppl he said you realize you will have to pay out of pocket right? . I said either put me in a suv or a bigger car. He argued with me a lil. I finally just gave up. Called again tonight 2 times .. still nothing . Wasnt willing to help me or nothing . Just told me to call back Friday.Ive came to this company a few times and never once had this issue . If I was not satisfied with the vehicle they made it right . Was nice bout it to .
This was my first time to rent a vehicle from a rental company. The wait time to pick up and drop off was not very pleasant at all. Due to Covid they had customers line up/wait outside, which left customers waiting outside in the heat. I wasnt very happy to wait in a busy parking lot out in the heat for over 30 minutes to pick up a vehicle I had reserved prior. Other than that, the vehicle was clean, efficient, and decently priced for the week long trip I took.
Awful experience. Reserved my car last week so mine could go in the shop. Made arrangements to pick up the rental....got a call asking me to come in later as they had no cars. Got there at 3:30 and they still had no cars. They said oppps so sorry....I have no way to work or anywhere else. Horrible service....
I am a platinum level renter and this location is horrid. It seems the employees have no training provided and they will cancel your reservation with no warning or explanation. Enterprise has a much better standard of service than the Joplin location actually provides.
Vehicle was awesome and price was right where it it was quoted. They were super busy which caused them to be a little behind. I had to wait about 45-60 mins, but it was ok. The enterprise employees were super helpful and polite.
I am very disappointed with the new management. During this covid difficult time my transmission went out in my car, and i was denied service. I gave all info i had which was enough and have been at my job for years so it should not have had anything to do with my id not matching. I can not believe they would turn people away. Especially when i made a trip to Joplin from neosho because i was told over phone that they would except it and then get to Joplin and be told different. What a waste of time. Not wanting to serve us.
Went to rent a car told them what I needed it for they said that didnt have what I was looking for and had to settle on something we didnt want and they said nothing that we were looking for was coming in 2 hours after getting what we didnt want what we wanted was sitting on there lot thanks alone enterprise
Booked a Ford Explorer on 10/20/20 at 11:00 am. I was told the vehicle wasn’t ready to return it four o’clock, I was then told the vehicle will be ready by 5 o’clock. At 5:30 the car was still not ready three appointments for the same day to pick up a car it was overbooked. The manager didn’t have any answers for the question as to why he could book a car three times in one day it’s still not out there and ready for delivery I was asked to leave the building after pointing my finger at him. Apparently he was afraid of my finger. Worst customer service ever
My husband reserved a car. We were told to be in Joplin by 11:30 am which is an almost 40 mile drive from home. The shorter blond gentleman told my husband they didnt have any cars. I go in to talk to him and he tells me that he has cars coming in but because my husband asked him what the hell good a reservation does. He advised a customer heard him say that and they would no longer be doing business with us. He also advised they had vans available but that would be $15 more per dayI feel like we shouldve been offered the van for what we paid. He said he couldnt afford to do that. I drove over here specifically for a vehicle which is now causing me to be late to my grandsons 11th birthday. The gentleman was very short and agitated. I understand he was busy and its a Saturday but I also feel that this was an opportunity for him to really perform customer service just not go thru the failed motions
I have used these guys for years, never had a problem. This last time was no different. I registered online and when I went to pick the car up they had me out the door in a matter of minutes and even upgraded my car for just a few more dollars a day. When I returned it, I was in and out in about 2 mins, no problem. The guys and gals at the Joplin, MO Enterprise are extremely nice and are experts in their field.
I rent a car from them for two day. The car ran great. If want to rent a car this is the place to go. They did me right. To rent a car from them its great. But not let them talk to you about buying a car. They ran my husband credit 7 time and drop his credit score down so now we cant buy ower house now.
When I picked up this SUV, I noticed a wrapper left in the back storage area, but once I got the car home I was shocked to dig into the car deeper and realize how dirty the car actually was. The car had not been washed. You could tell the car floor boards had been vacuumed, but the visible areas were all that had been touched. Unfortunately not many care how they treat rental cars and clearly a family with small children had last used the car. There were crumbs and foot prints in the seats and empty candy wrappers stuff between the seats, water bottles and left over food under the seats, and when I flipped up the second row seats to gain access to the third row seating, there was smashed fruit between the seats. I think it was a banana, but it was really gross. I cleaned and disinfected the entire vehicle before I felt good about allowing my family in the vehicle. I was charged $1300 for a week’s rental, I don’t think I should have had to clean the vehicle before I could use it. And I would think in the times are a living in, cleaning and sanitized vehicles would be your top priority. I wanted to have a conversation directly with an employee when I returned the vehicle, but only one person seemed to be working and there was many waiting to rent so I left the keys in the drop box. I did leave feedback through your website last Monday, but received no response. You definitely have some training to do in your Joplin, Mo location regarding your Complete Clean Pledge called out on your website.I had booked this vehicle early and at the time I had set the pick-up and drop off location to be Neosho Mo. I called a week before the pick up date to ensure we were set and nothing was needed. It was a complete surprise to me that my pick up location had been changed. I was never notified and when I looked at my reservation on line, the pick up location was still Neosho Mo. How on earth are people supposed to know where to pick up their vehicles? I understand the location had to be closed, but I should have been contacted.I have shared my concerns with Enterprise and been assured I would hear back, yet no one has contacted me.
Car was very clean. Staff was very professional and courteous both times I have rented from Enterprise. They are my go to place for when I have to take my vehicle to the shop. I highly recommend.
Terrible when a rental company does not have any cars to rent to a person with a long standing reservation. Just pathetic.
Used them several times over the last few months. Always found a great deal. Having more trouble finding a good deal lately but still impressed.
Joplin Enterprise is always been a great experience to me. Great staff clean vehicles that are reliable every time. Best car rental experience around this area!
Check in was quick and easy everyone was very friendly
The vehicle had a computer problem which they fixed after picking up the car. Then when out of state, the key fob would not register so I couldnt start the car. I was given a new rental at that time. They were very helpful.
The vehicle was great. We had a Grand Caravan to help my daughter move to college. Lots of space in that vehicle. Had no problems whatsoever.I had to change venue for the drop-off place and had no problems there either. The overall experience was just super.
Both times I have been at this location, they have not had the vehicle I had reserved and I had to wait for at least 30 mins each time to get my rental vehicle la late.
Normally I don’t have a problem, I’m an OTR Truck Driver so I rent from them about once a month. This last time they didn’t want to take my card and run it although two weeks prior it was just fine and also the car they put me in after waiting and waiting and waiting smelled as if someone had been chain smoking in it for years.
