Thomas is a blessing. He knows how to style,cut and perm. My hair has never looked better. I highly recommend Master Cuts at Northpark Mall in Joplin.

I wish I could attach a photo.. the lady who did my hair was so so kind and sweet.. but my hair turned out HORRIBLE.. it wasnt a difficult cut.. I wish she had just said she didnt know how to do it.. its been months and I am still having to let it grow and trim a bit at a time..

This place is a 50/50 chance of having a good experience. There is one woman there who is really nice and seems to give people decent haircuts. However there is a younger woman there who is not so friendly and will not even answer you when you talk about how you want your hair to be cut. But in a pinch you get what you pay for. The nicer people are located where half your paycheck goes towards a haircut.

I’m not sure the name of the girl who cut my son’s hair when his dad took him. She was nice but I’m not sure she knows how to cut hair. Or maybe she just doesn’t know how to deal with cowlicks I’m not sure. My son will be going to the barbershop

They had no problem taking both my daughters as walk-in appointments. Although the wait was a little long, we had the entire mall to help kill time. Our stylist was attentive and didnt mind telling my youngest that the couldnt do the cut she wanted but also gave alternatives she might like. Very happy with the visit.

I come here often to get my hair cut. Its usually someone new every time. Normally youll go in and theyll basically rip your ears off trying to do a fade, or theyll just go by so quickly you wont know if your hair was cut properly or just destroyed by the razor. Today I went in to get my usual medium fade one on the sides with a slight trim on the top. I got my haircut from Desiree this time. I must say out of all the times I have went here she.. She was the one who did it right. You can really tell she loves her job. Everyone else.. Not so much. She took her time making sure everything was perfect. Normally other hairdressers run the razor through in like one minute but Desiree she was by far the greatest. I never get my hair washed because no matter what I always go home to shower. She however shampooed my hair before even cutting the top. I never realized what I was missing when it came to those moments of someone else shampooing your hair. I cannot stress enough how pleased I am with the service she provided. She was astonishing. She even styled my hair. Usually I just wanna run away after my haircut but I felt comfortable with her styling it. I think you need to retrain your stylists to take their time. Make Desiree the Trainer. She has made me a very happy person and she will from now on be the only person I let cut my hair. I highly recommend her.

My son got four to five inches cut off his hair. 😢 a very emotional thing. The lady who cut it was super nice she let us video the whole thing and took her time and then also at the end she saved his hair in a bag and gave us the information to send it to wigs for children

Both attendants were standing at the door with no customers at all. They wouldnt cut my hair because I didnt have an appointment. They said they didnt take walk-ins. When I stated that they were both doing nothing the taller, skinny, rude, dark haired one just said yep. Totally unprofessional and obviously uncaring.

I just walked in to see if they had an opening when I was in the middle of doing my mall shopping and they said it would be about an hour. They took my name and number and called my cell phone when they were ready and the timing worked out perfectly! Cailah did an amazing job with my hair, even though my hair is very long and thick. Thank you!!!

This salon is very conveniently placed in the mall, so you can get your shopping done and then stop in for a haircut, coloring service, or waxing service.MasterCuts takes appointments and walk-ins. Staff are always very friendly.My husband however, has had a few instances where while stylists did a fantastic job, the clippers used were dull and left his skin irritated and his hair uneven.The prices for services are decent and they usually have sales on their professional hair products.

Worst. Haircut. Ever. If I could rate less than a star I would. I showed the stylist a photo of a haircut I had in the past and she said she could do it. She butchered my hair. I went to a stylist at a different salon and she told me the length was uneven by 3 inches. She cut 80s layers into my hair. She cut a straight chunk out out of the front on one side. Ray Charles couldve given me a better hair cut. Save yourself the trauma and go elsewhere.

I went in, they put me right in. Told the lady what I wanted. Apparently she didnt listen. I wanted my hair layered out, (slithering) all she did was cut the tips and charge me 20 bucks.I informed her I saw no difference, nor did i feel any difference In my hair weight. Ive been getting my hair done in a slithering for years, I know what it looks like, and how it feels after. And THAT wasnt it! Dont waste your money on people who take you for a ride, and act like you have no clue what your talking about.

Traumatised.I had been staying around the area for about a month and needed a haircut so bad. I found this place while walking around the mall and then decided to get the hair trimmed, thinking they would do at least a decent job of cutting because it was in a big mall.-At the appointment, I sat down and began to describe how I wanted the hair to be, showing the staff multiple pictures of my hair that I had taken before it got too long.-He nodded as if he understood what exactly I wanted and then started cutting it. He kept going and going, and eventually my bangs got short enough that it didn’t need to be cut anymore. But he didn’t stop. I thought maybe he was going to even out the sides, but no I just should’ve stopped him then. The hair,other than the bangs, was still so long and uneven that I had to live with a hat on for the next three weeks to hide the stupid haircut.-Since the haircut experience, I have made my mind that I’d rather let the hair grow out messy than letting a random hairdresser ruin it.p.s He was nice though, wasn’t just so skilled. Plus it happened last year.

Had an amazing experience. My haircut was exactly what I asked for.

The woman was very irritated for I dont know what reason. She barely spoke a word to me. They cant cut evenly or do good layers. I wanted it to my shoulders. Well one side touches the shoulder the other not even close. There is one spot that looks like she just cut it just because. Very poor job. I over heard another woman say she wouldnt trust herself to cut her own hair or her families. I went there when I was a kid. Messed it up. Thought after almost 10 years theyd get it together but no. Their prices are way to high for that much of a mess up. Dont. Go. Here.

The first time I went there it was fine, the dresser didnt want to talk to me instead ignored me but talked to her co-workers. This most recent visit I was stuck with a girl who seemed completely unsure of how her work was when she was finished, and didnt even give me the cut I wanted. Im not sure Ill go back.

Jenielle worked on me today! She was absolutely amazing! I went in with a $180 mistake of a mop on my head from earlier in the day. I was in tears. What was supposed to be a super cute brown to pink balayage turned into looking several months faded and burnt orange. Completely terrible! Jenielle was a sweetheart. She listened to my concerns, helped me pick a color and answered my questions. She applied products to prevent any further damage. She talked with me the whole time. She even let me use her phone charger when mine died! Jenielle provides excellent customer service and saved my hair! Thank you soo much!

Went in to get a simple hair cut the women cutting it said it looked off because of my hat went home took a shower and once it dried its completely horrible long hairs everywhere absolutely no fade at all and its so short it cant be fixed tell it grows out
