I feel so bad giving such a review as this, but its necessary. There was a tall, thin, Hispanic male that was my recruiter. He originally got me a job at a warehouse called NFI, and told me it was very easy work and that my friend and I (whom got the job with me) would love it. So we go to this job, and it was ridiculous! They scolded me for asking for help as I could not cart the 1,000+lb. product across the warehouse. I couldnt walk for 2 days after just 1 day at that job.After I had asked to switch jobs, he gave me a similar job. Telling me again this job would be a breeze. So I decided to take my experience elsewhere, and go through another staffing agency.Then this man had the nerve to tell someone I knew that went for a job there that I was lazy, and then laughed about me only being able to perform at the job 1 day before giving up.You sir are the joke, and I feel so sorry this agency loses business due to how unprofessional you are. Hopefully they fired you, and have people who actually want to see you succeed working at their establishment.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This was beyond a horrible experience, given that we were only there for less than 5 minutes. As soon as we enter, we don’t get greeted, the woman just mumbles for us to have a seat without any eye contact. Very unprofessional. If you’re going to be working in a customer service based job, at least try to be more pleasant with your customers.

Very unprofessional & the staff discriminate. If your not Hispanic they dont want to help you . They send you to a bogus job & pick & choose who they want to give the better jobs to. The staff is rude, they lie about open positions. They play around with your direct deposit & they make you pay for your own background & drug test . Went for orientation for Target warehouse put the location in my GPS and it took me around in circles I could not find the location and when I called to tell them I couldnt find it with the GPS they told me to call Mike and that it would be likely that I wouldnt be able to go back, very unprofessional. They know the GPS doesnt work properly but they dont give you proper instructions on how to get there.

One of the most unprofessional agency I’ve ever worked for. Denise Soto whom was my recruiter was very rude and when at the office she and the other recruiter (Vanessa) will answer the phone calls and put on hold and then hang up the call. I worked for them and they didn’t pay me when asked about my check they told me I was not going to get paid. Asked to speak to a manager she said they don’t have one asked for their corporate number she said oh I don’t know it. I don’t know why Surge hires people who does not know anything and especially with no customer service, recruiting experience! Had to search for the corporate number on my own and for them to call her and discuss about my pay issue and of course her behavior. Then behold I get paid with no issue. They don’t care if you work and don’t get paid but when you get upper management involved now they want to work. Please stay away unless you would like working for FREE!

The staff was very nice and helpful however​ I never worked for a temp agency where you are required to pay for your own drug test and your own background they take that money out of your check huge problem with me so I never took their assignment.

My name is Kristina I was recently a new hire at surge temp service located in Joliet on Jefferson St. I was greeted very nicely when me and a friend of mine started, We were told at this location before we started we would receive weekly pay checks and when we start we will receive compensation for orientation which took us 20 minutes to get there, we also sat through people speaking about the company and what the job was like etc. The POINT IS we started after the orientation worked a hour in the warehouse MY FRIEND GOT SICK STARTED RUNNING BACK AND FORTH TO THE BATHROOM THROWING UP I WAS MOTION SICKNESS MYSELF AND WE DROVE TOGETHER. IT WAS A NEW WORK ENVIRONMENT FOR US PERIOD. We got it approved by 3 different SUPERVISORS THAT WE CAN LEAVE AND COME BACK TOMORROW!!! MY FRIEND WAS SICKER THAN SHE REALIZED AND WAS SICK FOR A WEEK, I WAS SICK THE WHOLE WEEKEND. WE DIDNT GO BACK, TODAY IS PAYDAY FOR THE 2 HOURS FOR ORENTATION AND ANOTHER HOUR ACTUAL WORK WE NOT ONLY WASTED THE GAS/ BUT TIME AWAY FROM OUR CHILDREN TO BE NOT PAID!!!!! I call the office early about 9AM 10/19/18 now I dont know about anyone else but I know I worked for that money thats MY MONEY the office gave me the run around both ladies in the office knew what was going on, They called the gentlemen that gives the paychecks out and meets people at the companies he states to me that its a payroll issue, and that theyre are 22 other people with the same problem I said I DONT CARE ABOUT OTHERS IM HERE ABOUT MY CHECK!!!!!!! He then says try calling about 1:00pm/1:30pm. Okay now Im like Ill give them a chance . I called them back the gentlemen picks up says surge please HOLD and puts music on, HA I knew they were doing something funny it was very obvious that they placed me on hold for a long period of time. THE OFFICE ISNT EVEN THAT BUSY JUST IGNORANT.I stayed on hold and drove up there let alone I had my child with me walked in and the same gentlemen tells me again the fedex hasnt brought them they even told me they were open tomorrow on a Saturday because of peak season NOW IM THE WRONG ONE TO MESS WITH WHEN IT COMES TO A LEGAL SITUATION! SO the gentlemen tells me it didnt come now Im disgusted thats my money time I spent away from my children to work hard for!!!!!! I had to make a scene with my child in the office to find out the girls in the office had me ON hold playing music IM NOT STUPID DONT TEST MY INTELLIGENCE. THERE WAS A VERY PROFESSIONAL LADY THAT HAPPENED TO WALK OUT OF THE OFFICE AS I MADE THE SCENE LOOKED AROUND NOTICED SOMEWHAT WHAT WAS HAPPENING AND ASKED THE GENTLEMEN IN THE OFFICE THEY CAME OUT WITH ENVELOPE AND PREPAID CARDS THE GENTLEMEN SAID WERE GOING TO TRY AND LOAD THESE FOR YOU BUT SINCE ITS UNDER $50 IM NOT SURE! EXCUSE ME YOUR GOING TO TRY NO TODAY IS PAYDAY AND WE WORKED FOR THAT MONEY I DONT CARE BY LAW THATS OUR MONEY!!!!! HE STOPPED MY FRIEND FROM OPENING THE ENVELOPE IN THE OFFICE AND SAID THEYD BE LOADED AFTER CLOSING HOURS!!! This is the worst temp agency ever. The ladies inside the office is so unprofessional. First they made me accept a pre pay card for my check even though I signed up for direct deposit. Once I go and pick up the card Surge inform me that there is no money on the card yet and promised they will load it by 4pm. Once 4pm came the ladies kept hanging up on me. It was so bad I had to call from my sons phone just so they would talk to me about my money. I had to call corporate for results to finally get paid. If you want constant problems with your pay and unprofessional people handling your issues then go ahead and go here, but don’t say I didn’t warn you about Surge unprofessional employment service.

I worked for surge sent me to innotrac...i have lots of tattoos they never looked at me less of a person and gave me a job...if you really want to work and not expect handouts apply....

The girls are sometimes rude and if they get jobs but they do not speak well of what is done in each job I still recommend them because they have some jobs that pay well
