Paul and Mike’s transmission, is a great auto repair shop, they worked on my Chevy Silverado 1500 and they repaired my truck’s transmission they gave me a quote and it turned out to be cheaper the the quote they gave me on the phone, they are very trustworthy and I will be using them as my permanent mechanic if I can’t do it myself I will take it to them what is your day are the best in Joliet Illinois if you need work done on your vehicle definitely give them a try they are very friendly and trustworthy and honest price I can’t say any more than that if you don’t go well you probably lucked out

If youre looking for an honest and very skilled auto repair shop Paul & Mikes is all you need. They may or may not be the cheapest, but they are one of the best and honest repair shops out there. I have been a customer of Paul & Mikes since the early 2000s and they have always done right by me. In the summer of 2018, my wife was diagnosed with Cancer and I had to buy a handicap van for her wheelchair. Over the winter the van that we depended on so much broke down, Paul & Mikes knew that my wife needed the van for her daily radiation treatments. The owners of Pual & Mikes George and his sister Kaleena, push the van to the front on the line and got the transmission fixed in two days, plus drove me home and drove me back to the repair shop for no extra charge. My wife did die at the end of February of 2020 just before COVID hit. All I can tell you is that, George and Kaleena at Paul & Mikes were there for us when we needed help and I am forever grateful to them. Ed Villa

Amazing service. George is absolutely amazing. Today I had an appointment at 3pm for my calibration for my interlock and my car would not start so I called and explained everything to George (well my bf did, while I was on hold with interlock to fix the issue). Long story short we ended up having to get a tow here and because of that we didnt make it here till 4:36 pm. They close at 5 pm and stop service at 4:30 but George was so polite and helped us today we are so grateful and thankful for his amazing customer service and overall being an amazing human being. Came in for an inspection thinking my transmission was needing replacement (hard shifts etc), after they preformed a detailed inspection (including road test) they had told me that it is running up to par for the mileage (191k). They are NOT after your money and are up front and forward about repair costs. Highly recommend!

The owners of the shop were amazing to me. I took my vehicle there for a second opinion after I was told my transmission was bad. They were so caring and compassionate. Unfortunately, the transmission was bad and I ended up junking the car but they did everything they could to help me. I would take my car there again if I had another transmission problem.

Honest! Friendly! I wish there was more than one. They do great work. Theyre not cheap but they wont leave you standing on the corner with a cardboard box reading Will work for food.

Friendly staff, professional service, great prices. That is how I would sum up my experience with Paul and Mikes. They are friendly and always able to clearly explain the cost and reason for their repairs and maintenance. They are also very good at referring customers when they cannot perform needed work (e.g. a dented bumper). Finally they are always willing to give people a ride back home while their car is being worked on or have them sit in the customer waiting room. I trusted them with the inspection of my first used car and I would do the same for any others in the future. I would recommend Paul and Mikes to any family member or friend with complete confidence.

We got my husbands engine rebuilt here and so far we have not had any problems. It was expensive but i think any engine rebuild is going to be expensive. They had us bring the car back a few weeks later just to make sure everything was still working alright.

The work seems to be done right but the costs are pretty high. Warranty is costly also.

They said I blew the transmission. It would cost me $2,500 to fix it. I had it towed down the street to another shop and all it needed was oil. Paul and Mikes tried to con me never again.
