My go-to nail place in Johnston. Lilly does amazing work- I have never had someone take such pride in their work. My dip american-manicure nails look real. Not too thick and beautifully shaped.

I have gone to this salon and only this salon for 5 years. I have 4 daughters and we always go here for manicures and pedicures. I have always had amazing experiences. It seems that Henry no longer works there and the service and quality has gone completely down hill. I tried several times to tell the girl that was doing my nails how I wanted them shaped and she ignored me over and over. Half way through the girl switched out with a guy who also ignored everything I was saying. I tried to get them fixed before they were past the point of no return and when I attempted to ask them if they could be fixed the girl and guy both stood there talking aggressively about me, pointing to me, in Vietnamese. They interrupted me and continued to argue with me until the girl looked at me, glared, and said well its too bad and walked away from me. I ended up leaving and now Im driving around in an attempt to find someone else to go to from now on and to get this fixed. Im in tears. Ive never been so disrespected by ANYONE at this salon before. I will never go back.

Best nail place ever

Truly Nails did my nails for my wedding and for my bridesmaids. There are plenty of chairs and we went during lunch time on a Friday so it wasn’t very busy. They were very friendly and my nails turned out great. Only complaint is that most of the little gems that I got on my nails fell off in a couple days, but I’m not surprised. The actual nail extensions and ombré nail color have not chipped at all.

Staff is friendly. I walked in to get nails done and even tho they were suppose to be closed they had me sit down and did my nails. They did an excellent job. They didnt try to hurry on my nails. The guy who did my nails made sure I was satisfied with how they looks. I will definitely keep going back to them. My nails always looks good when I leave.

I was searching around for a nail salon that was good. That did natrual look on acrylics or even dip. After reading reviews I decided to give them a try. I was so satisfied with how nice they are, how everything was sterile, how clean the place is. After I sat down with Anna and explained what I wanted she did everything so great. Turned my previous ugly acrylics into very thin natrual look. This will be a salon I go to from now on.Thank you to all staff.

My Girlfriend get her nails done here everytime. The staff is kind and the service is good, the offer a courtresy drink so if they offer you one, take it. They also have atm but i think it has a high fee of 3$ also if you pay cash is cheaper than card.

I happen to be in Johnston a month ago and stopped in for a pedicure. Fantastic service with great attention to detail. Everyone is so friendly (which is hard to find sometimes). Drove out today from the NE side of DesMoines and was met with the same experience. I will back. This place is a GEM!!!

I got a pedicure from Van on my first visit yesterday. She was very friendly and thorough. I recommend the firewalker for a good spa pedicure at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back!

Ive been a customer here for 3 years and have always been happy with my mani/pedi results. The one and only time I had a problem with my shellac chipping off in a couple days I went back and they redid my nails at no cost. Tammy and her crew are super nice and the facility very clean. Im a satisfied customer who is a little picky but they dont mind that at all.

Terrible. I stopped getting acrylic nails years ago because of the damage it does. I now get shellac instead even though it takes some time to soak it off. I just went to Truly Nails to get a shellac polish change and instead of waiting for my existing shellac to soak off, my nail tech used the grinder to grind it off. She didnt even get all of the old shellac off before she started applying the new polish. My nails are now damaged to the extent that they used to be with acrylic nails. My polish is bumpy from my damaged nails, and from not removing all of the old shellac. While I was having mine done, another technician was doing her own nails, and she soaked them off the way youre supposed to......why wouldnt you give your customers the same treatment??To make it worse, she didnt want to apply a second coat of color, and after just one coat it was very streaky. Thankfully she applied the second coat, or I would have had to go somewhere else to have them redone.Lastly (and this is something I could have over looked if my experience wasnt already bad), their lights for shellac are I believe 5 minute lights. Most places have lights that are much faster. It made the In between coats, my nail technician was on her cellphone. Again, something I wouldnt be opposed to if my experience was great up to this point.Oh, and the neck rub was just not needed and kind of creepy.
