It was perfect at the beginning and then it went so ugly so fast I went with my friend and she wanted a see through base coat and she’s not confrontational so when she asked for it to be changed to clear before it dries three other girls yelled at her saying it wasn’t clear on the picture and she started to tear up. At the end since we got matching nail sets they charged her an extra $10 more than me. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

A little pricey, but nice atmosphere and my nails look fabulous.

Billy & Jessica are amazing! I have been going to Fashion Nails & Spa for many years. They always impress me with how they stay current with the latest trends. Websight says they close at eight Called in to make appointment at 645 he agreed.Man was so incredibly rude to me when i went in. Absolutely worst nail experience Ive ever had. I will tell people not to go here for the way I was treated.

The color of shellac for my nails was a bit thin when I got out in the sun and had areas that were patchy. I came back in and asked if they could apply another coat (not so simple with shellac I found out.) The owner (Jessica) took the time to take all of the polish off and re-did my entire toes without me asking. She could have just thrown another coat on and called it a day and she did not. Now that’s called customer service! Very impressed with them overall as a business. I will be back!

Been going to this nail salon for many years. Always great service, friendly staff. They are amazing people there and they care about you and your needs. I have sent many people, as well as family here and will continue to do so. Owners Billy and Jessica are great. Wont go anywhere else.

Katie(fawn) and Kim always do a wonderful job with my mom and my nails. Jessica and Billy are always welcoming and greet us by name as we walk in the door. Definitely a most go to place for you hands and feet.

Love this place! I moved from Minneapolis to Johnston four years ago and have gone here since I first arrived. They are all good, but I love Katie! They are friendly and make you feel very welcome. I am an old fart and they’re nice to me… Grin🤪. I love that I can get a glass of wine if I’d like one… It’s the small things in life that are wonderful

I’ve only went to Fashion Nails twice. The first time was okay but the second time was great! I didn’t have to wait at all and Billy did an awesome job! I’ve found my new nail home 🙌🏽

My nails look nice but I have a terribly sore area on the back of my heel where he rubbed my foot too hard! Ouch!

I love this place but today I got a new girl and she said she’s been doing nails for years well it would have fooled me I walked out with my nails not even finished!!!! Worst experience ever!! I’ll for sure be waiting for Jessica or billy to do my nails from now own!!

Staff is super friendly. I got shellac nails plus pedicure. Both services were very well done and they didnt use the drill thingy... which makes me very happy! A very nice salon and reasonably priced; I will be back!

Took a group of 4 for mani/pedis; had a great time with great service.

I don’t mind waiting for a pedicure but don’t lie and say five minute wait when it is actually 30 to even get started. The people next to us got a nice proper hour pedicure and after waiting 30 mins we got a rushed 25 minute one. Mom never got her design on her toe and as we were leaving they asked I we still wanted it. Never going back, wouldn’t recommend it.

Very satisfied with my nail. I was in late and they expected me anyway. Every where was pretty much closed.

I went here with my best friend because we were had coupons, her nails turned out great, mine however, not so much. I went in for a fill and color and left with a color and bumpy nails. The fill job was terrible, literally nothing got filled, just more gel on top of what was already there. I also left with bloody cuticles and an empty wallet because they decided (it doesnt say on the coupon) that the coupon only worked for just polish and nothing else. Their prices were high in the first place which is why I hadnt come here before. Completely unsatisfied.

Great place for guys!

I came here with my fiancé and we went up to the counter and waited around 5 minutes to be noticed. It was a bit busy so I understand that we had to wait a while to actually be helped. We both got manicures and they rushed through the whole thing. The lady that I had was going so fast she would miss a couple times whenever she would put the wand back in the polish. There was a family waiting for pedicures and you could tell they were rushing for them because they came in and knew them by name. The lady filed my nails and they turned out really uneven and lopsided. She accidentally cut one of my cuticles too low and it started to bleed and when she put acetone on it and it burned she just laughed. The guy that my fiancé had was also rushing that he didnt even cover half her nails with the finishing coat. For mine, the clear coat was all bubbly at the end and the color didnt reach down to my cuticles so it looks like theyve already grown out but I just had them done yesterday. They just seem to have preferred customers so if you come here make sure theres nobody else because they might rush through to get to their best tippers. It was just a bad experience over all and I would not recommend this place if you want a manicure thats well done.

Usually go here, lately I’ve been having horrible customer service. Was told i could not have the color that i was lying for and that i needed a different color. Last time my names were a 1/4 thick of acrylic they tried to say that’s how my nail was and i said no because they’ve done my nails a lot. Have a couple of crooked nails & after today’s experience i will not be returning, very disapppointed

I started going here about 3 years ago and havent gone anywhere else since. They are very friendly and always do a fantastic job.

This place absolutely wonderful!!! I ripped a toe nail (owie!!!) at the state fair and needed it repaired ASAP. I came in and they got me in right away and had it fixed and on my way in less than a half hour!! I was even more impressed that it was less than an hour before they closed on a Sunday. They were kind and helpful. Everything seemed so clean and relaxing. If im back in DesMoines and need nails done again I will definately be coming back!!!
