These ladies know their stuff! I came in on a whim to get a fill in and shape up. My tech blew me away with how gorgeous my nails turned out! I hate long nails so she made sure to pay attention to every detail. I’ve found my forever nail home! They were super fast too but wasn’t rushed. 10/10!!

My friend and I walked in around five on a Monday for full sets and pedicures and they got us seated right away. I had a picture of what I wanted for my acrylics and I wanted the accent color on my toes. Not only did she nail the design but she fixed and perfected it when needed as she went. The pedicure was great too and almost put me to sleep. Everything was very reasonably priced and we even had great conversation with the ladies as well. Definitely will be back!

Nail Envy is the best nail salon in the Tri Cities area. Tracy is awesome and she always does a phenomenal job - even if I come in with ridiculous nail art designs.I would get my nails done frequently when I lived in NYC, and I would say that Nail Envy is as good if not better than any NYC salon I’ve been too!NOTE: walk-ins are welcome, but it’s safer to call ahead and make a reservation!!

My nails always look more natural, stay on longer and they have been able to do anything my daughters and I have found pictures of or ideas.

My daughter, her friend and I all went on a Monday night. We had an appointment scheduled for 5pm. They got started on us right away. My daughter and I both got a full set and my daughters friend got a pedicure. The staff is friendly and have the best service in the area. I definitely will be back and have already recommended them to friends.

I absolutely love this place! The employees are straight up and real, they love to laugh and joke with you and are always gentle with their work. The quality of their work and products is excellent. I have attached a photo of my nails which were done with dip powder over 2 weeks ago and still look fresh! There are usually only 2 people working so if youre busy definitely call ahead but it will be well worth your time.

Being new to the area I was looking for the perfect nail salon. I walked in on a Saturday (not knowing they do appointments only on the weekends) welcomed me right in. They did a wonderful job with my nails and pedicure. Very pleased. This will be my new nail salon.💖

After a while of doing some searching, I finally came across Nail Envy in Johnson City (which is a bit away from me but I was going to be in the area anyway). The reviews are what made me chose this place, and Im so glad I did. I was very satisfied with the job- just got a simple acrylic full set, nothing fancy. They do accept walk-ins but I would recommend making an appointment, especially if youre looking for more than something simple. I will be going back in the future- great work, great prices and great atmosphere!

I walked in for the very first time to try a new salon and they asked “what are you having done?” I said “full set” then rudely the man said “no time, come back tomorrow.” Could have been a bit more polite. I walked in around 4:15pm, and they closed at 7:30 that day. Plenty of time for someone new. I then went to my regular salon at City Nails, much better and a whole lot nicer. Even if they are packed, they’ll make sure you get what you want.

Went in with my mom and they did an excellent job on both of our nails. They were very patient and took the time to do everything perfectly! Highly recommend!

This place USED to be good. Not anymore, I gave them one more shot but my acrylics would be uneven no matter what, my thumb would be short and my pinky nail was long! I would say something and he would file it down to literal claw nubs!! Service is also bad! Other salons are better, trust me!

Don’t bother making an appointment, they over book and take walk in clients. It’s annoying when you have a busy schedule and they can’t get you in within 10 minutes of the appointment that you made. They are rude about it to. While he is a great nail tech, his attitude will keep me away. I chose to use him, I’m choosing not to go back now.I was told 15 minutes and after 30 I left because it was taking so long and I had another appointment. I’ve been going here for the last 9 months. I also had a friend go and he told my friend how he hated his job the entire time. We are two less people you need to worry about.

Amazing job! I have been told many times that nail techs can do complex ‘designs’, and they are always a disappointment. I can’t say enough positive things about this couples work. They turned out exactly how I wanted, spectacular.

I was just told they cant fill my nails. Couldnt really understand them very well but something about theyre easily chipped? Arent we paying them to make sure theyre not easily chipped? What about this am I not understanding? The man was very rude and just rushed me out of the door.

My mom and I went to Nail Envy for the 1st time today, both got new sets because we were unhappy with the previous salon we went to. We LOVE how our nails look and will continue to go there! I am very picky, so to recommend a place means you can trust that it’s worth it.

I typically dont write reviews but I had to on this salon. I came here twice and the first time here I did acrylic and after 1.5 weeks it started to chip. I thought maybe it was the polish or something. I decided to come back a second time a few weeks later since the prices are low but then just did gel with another brand and the same thing happened after 1 week. I couldnt come back here to complain since I came to visit my daughter in JC and chose this salon since they had good reviews (for some reason).The chipping of my nail was disappointing but it also was disappointing to go to the salon and be turned down, rudely, since I didnt have an appointment! I know there is a sign that says walk ins welcome but really they arent especially when the workers just say they are busy and look down on the client they are working on and just ignore you so you awkwardly stand there by the door and leave because no one is helping you!

If anyone knew me personally they know i am a very picky person. I do not really like change. I lived in texas my entire life. Dealt with the same salon for over 20 years. I was nervous coming into this establishment. With that being said i am so glad I did. These people care. I brought my 2 daughters with me as they were just there to be with me. The owners laughed and joked with my girls as if they had known them forever. We were treated exceptional. I adore these people and i will never go anywhere else. My nails are perfect as well as my pedi. 😍😉💜💜💜

The owners are SO nice, genuinely, and so professional! Always a pleasure to work with! I’ve never had anything less than absolutely perfect nails coming out of here! I get so many compliments! As a server, I’m super rough on my nails, and my hands are always in Clorox and sanitizers. Not once since I’ve came here, have I had any issues! I’ve had the same set on since mid october, (mid January now) and I’ve yet to have one break, chip, or try and peel up. I(I keep a long, acrylic set on.) I’ve only had to have fill-ins! The salon atmosphere is super relaxing, as it always smells so good! And it is so clean!!!! I cannot stand a nasty salon with acrylic dust and hair everywhere, and this is NOT at all the case here! The gentleman who runs this place takes a lot of pride in his business and his services, and it shows! I’m a customer for life! Thank you so, so much!!!

You will find better customer service at other salons in Johnson City! Once a new customer comes in and sits down they suddenly finish your manicure/pedicure in 10 minutes.....just very low quality that doesnt last!

This is the BEST nail salon I have ever been to!! I had been to 4 or 5 before I FINALLY found Tracy an Philip! They are always so nice and welcoming! The atmosphere is calm laid back and relaxing NOT crowded by several different ppl waiting to have a rushed in an out job done just to walk out not happy with ur nails!! YES its by appointment and they are busy cuz they are WONDERFUL that should tell u something! Philip is very precise an maticulous about his work! This place will overbook your appointments and act completely rude towards their own customers... got to the salon for my 12:30 appt and had to wait 45 minutes for my own appt because a walk in customer was seated right before I got there..on time. This has happened 3 times so far and the owners have then shown their frustration at me when I walk out and make an appt for another day!! Finding a new salon to the do my dip powder nails since their customer service is terrible and my nails also have a tendency to chip-not going to pay for someone to be rude to me.

Is it clean? yes.Do they have a high rating? for some reason yes.Are they professional? NO. I have been a client here 3 times..at first it was great and the last 2 times I think they got the idea that I would be coming back no matter how they act infront of me or other clients. A husband and wife run this place and they have no manners toward their clients. They book way too many appointments so you always have to wait no matter if you have an appt...which can get really annoying. You walk in and the first thing you hear is pick a color. No how are yous or anything.. The guy will go in the back or leave to smoke while clients are waiting, Im speaking from multiple personal experiences. Very disappointed im finding a new nail salon.

I would give 0 stars if I could....when I go to a salon I look for cleanliness..the salon doesnt change the hand towels from customer to customer so if you are ohhh so lucky you will rest your hands on a powedery feeling, fresh polish stained towel for an hour from the previous customer!!! also during my mani, i asked for a different polish after i changed my nail polish and the nail technician, I cant remember her name but I think Traci, literally huffed at me. If I wanted to be huffed at I wouldnt be paying you to take care of me or my nails!! The male technician also acted very odd during my appt, it made me uncomfortable!! I dont know if these two people are the salons only technicians but they need to swap them out for more friendly technicians. Will not be coming back!!!
