I went to 2 other salons before coming to Salon SOCA to have my hair coloured blonde. The other salons didnt do anything I asked for. And then I went to Salon SOCA and Sybil did exactly what I was looking for! I had all this red toned light brown color and in one visit she got me back to blonde! SYBIL is AMAZING!!!! I called and booked a bridal consultation a week ago. I told the receptionist that I wanted to have a mock updo done at the consultation. When I arrived she had no idea I wanted her to look at my hair, and she just went over paperwork. She then told me I would have to come back another day if I wanted to have a mock updo done. The receptionist told me when I booked the consultation I was looking at about $80 dollars. I figured I would still have to pay more and that wasnt a big deal. But the girl tells me that she isnt touching my hair today. I have to come back another day, the total will be $200 dollars. And I have to pay a $60 deposit today! She could have called me over the phone and told me all that stuff beforehand! So it was an entire waste of time. Ill never go back and I would not recommend this place at all.

Ive gotten my hair cut with Bridget twice and am so pleased! Ive been looking for a new stylist since my previous one retired and Ive gone to several places over the last few years. I finally found a new home! Bridget listened to everything I wanted and worked to get me a fabulous cut. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fabulous experience.

I brought my girls in for highlights and all over coloring. Initially both appointments were for all over coloring, but when we decided on highlights for the one Tenelle was able adjust her schedule to accommodate for the time difference. Bobbi was sensitive to the desires of my teenager and although we initially thought we’d have to reschedule (because there wasn’t enough time for what my child wanted done) a solution was found and my teen is very pleased with her new look. The highlighting job and cut by Tenelle was also outstanding.

Hope was awesome! First time at the salon as I just moved to the area. Perfect color (shadow root), low lights, and cut. Very clean, professional salon. Love it!

This was a tough review to write. My stylist did a superb job.My concerns are based on the handling of an issue with my color.I had a red base that continued to wash off more than two weeks after my appointment.I called the salon was given a lecture on the size of the red pigments being very large molecules and that was the reason I continued to see red come off on the towels.Additionally I was told that using a non-professionap product, i.e. John Frieda Red was to blame.$185 down the drain ... literallyVery poor customer service.Edit: I want to thank the salon for responding to my review. I guess I omitted the fact that the John Frieda product is not hair color it is a color preserving SHAMPOO which I have used for many years. I am a natural redhead and the color was just an uplift from my real color. Ive been having my hair colored for years --red-- and never have had an issue with the color washing off as it did. I have never attempted to color my hair on my own, nor would I.

I am 46 years old and I have never in my life had such a great cut and color. Samantha cut and colored my hair in June and it still looks fabulous. It is easy to manage and super healthy. For years I have had little fly away baby hairs and lots of hair loss with washing. At the end of each shower I would have little wads of hair stuck to the shower wall. The color Samantha used did not damage my hair at all. The fly always are gone and I don’t lose any hair during washing. Samantha is amazing, I wish I could give more stars!

First time using SOCA Salon and will definitely be back. Hope did an excellent job!!

Salon SOCA is a 5 star salon! I highly recommend. Tennelle is a miracle worker! She took me from a box dyed reddish brown to a beautiful champagne blonde, even taking the time to make my roots natural and blended so that growth can happen without that awful dye line. My hair feels healthy and soft and it absolutely beautiful! The staff are professional, kind, and a joy to be around. I had so much fun and came out feeling better about myself and loving my hair more than I have in a very long time! Ive also never had an experience where I actually got EXACTLY what I asked for. I took a picture in with me, and left with my hair color being a perfect match. I was shook at how perfect and beautiful my hair turned out, and it didnt take multiple visits! Ive tried other salons in the area, but this salon and especially Tennelle, will be the only place I go from now on!

I can not say enough about my experience at this salon. Hope is amazing. It has taken me three years to find someone who listens to me and believes me when I give feedback on my hair. To quote Hope, styling my hair goes against everything youre taught when doing hair. Specifically, thinning my hair. Most stylists are afraid to thin my hair when I encourage more than they have done. Hope listened to me and realized that my hair requires a ton of thinning, down to the root even, to achieve the look I want. Not to mention she was able to use my formula from my stylist in Florida and match it perfectly. I just hope she never leaves me! I highly recommend Salon Socca and Hope. Terri Laney

I have been hesitant going into such “hands-on” businesses lately due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was impressed and pleased to see all stylists following safety guidelines. During my two hour visit I saw every chair, shampoo bowl, tool, even the checkout area being cleaned after each client. The salon is big enough to easily practice social distancing as well, you definitely don’t feel like you’re on top of each other there. I was at ease and able to sit back and enjoy myself.Bridget Bledsoe is AMAZING!! My daughter and I both had haircuts and we both have very different hair types. Hers is extremely thick and heavy and mine is very thin and fine. Bridget was able to give us each individualized attention, personalized cuts that suited us best, and use the proper hair products on each hair type. We are both extremely happy with our cuts and will be seeing Bridget from now on!!

I desperately needed a haircut, so I got a babysitter and made an appointment at salon SOCA because it is close to my house. I showed up 5 minutes before my appointment time and was told they were running a bit behind. I said thats fine and took a seat. Waited over an hour before having to leave to feed my baby. Super disappointed. Wasted my time and babysitter money.

I have been a client of Tennelle’s for more than 8 years. Her work never ceases to amaze me. She always goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy with not just my hair but the whole experience. Her salon is definitely the cleanest, nicest and offers the most up to date services in the Tri Cities. The staff are always very friendly too.Tennelle and all the staff at salon Soca have gone above and beyond since having Covid-19 restrictions-in making sure they disinfect all areas and wear masks. If you haven’t been in, I highly recommend you go and see Tennelle. She is amazing!!

The facial was amazing, I did love that. My nails were horrid and came off in about 20 minutes of leaving. The pedicure was awkward and the gel soupy stuff she used in the water was nasty. Walked out with my hair looking the exact same as when I went in. Almost $300 I completely regret spending.Edit because I dont think I can respond. Yes I went in December and could only recently put up a review, I tried afew times and it wouldnt let me till now. I was not talking about spending $300 on my hair I meant my for everything I had done (except the facial as she was a separate part). I did reach out and they offered to redo my nails with the same girl who did them horribly the first time, I had to cancel because I got sick (I have very serious health problems) it is also over an hour drive for me to get there so its not something I can just up and do.

I was frustrated with the other hair stylist I gone to. For the past 8 or 7 months I have been trying to get silver /grey highlights without success. I understand it’s a hard shade to get. I finally tried another internet search and came across Salon SOCA. Tannelle messaged me right back. She listened to what I wanted to achieve but promised me nothing. She told me she had experience in that shade but no promises to me.when I arrived at the salon the building was night and clean. They offered me something to drink while I was waiting which only took 5 minutes. All the other hair stylists were sweet and knowledgeable of what they were doing. I price was fair and they suggested what would work best for my hair. I will always go back there. I also recommend this hair salon to anyone!!! Thanks so much!!!
