My fiancé left two Invicta, Jason Taylor Edition, watches for Johnsons jewelers to replace the crystal faces and repair the movements. Every time we walked in to inquire about them, the store was completely empty of jewelry, and the owner said that every piece was locked in a safe at a bank...that he was simply in the jewelry store but had no jewelry on site. (Then why are you in the store and open if you do not have anything for customers.) He never called us to let us have updates, and has stopped returning calls. Whenever we stop by he conveniently never has them on site. We left him our contact info to call us as soon as they are on-site because we wanted to pick them up (regardless of the fact he said he was still waiting on parts more than 8 months later and he has not made any attempt to contact us). At this point, were pretty sure hes sold them and question if this is a legit business at all. My attorney will be making calls to the jewelry store.
I am extremely impressed with Matt’s work. I have only perspiring superlatives to describe his masterful technique, meticulous attention to detail, creative artistry, and breathtakingly beautiful creations.
Matt is a great jeweler. His prices are by far the best in town. Highly respectable and a great reputation that preceded him. If you need any type of repair work or are in the market for custom jewelry, I highly recommend.
My husband and I purchase all of our fine jewelry from Matt. They are wonderful to do business with. Very pleasant place to work with
Good customer service, friendly, good engraving work, decent price, late on declared finish date, and I had to polish my own item as they didnt. Its the little things..
Best customer service you will find anywhere! Johnsons is my go to jeweler and I highly recommend you make them yours too.
Very helpful and friendly staff. This place was recommended when I needed a battery for my watch. Not only did they have the battery in stock, but the gentleman cleaned my watch and set the time/date before giving it back.
Looks like Im the first to post. This is one heck of a place to get great deals on diamonds. They also buy diamonds. I recommend this place to as many people as I can. The only down side is the hours. They open near lunch time and Im always looking for deals early in the morning but they always have something that catches my eye.
I Always feel welcome and always feel like Ive been given a fair price. Best place to buy and sell. Hands down.
These guys do absolutely beautiful custom work and have wonderful prices. I recommend them to everyone
I have been going to Johnsons Jewelry for 15 years. They have great prices, great quality, honest, fair, & very helpful.
My boyfriend bought me a ring while on our trip to Mexico that was very special to me. It is a very thin, fragile silver halo ring with small crystals all down each side and a tanzanite center stone. I didn’t realize how much silver could bend if you’re not careful, so one day I look down and notice my ring is bent in, completely misshapen, and a crystal was missing. The top halo part was smashed down on one side and it looked terrible. My heart sank! I went into Diamond Exchange in Kingsport where a lady rudely said “What is this ‘supposed’ to be? Tanzanite?” as if she were implying it was fake (it’s not!) She took it back to ask the jeweler if they could fix it. She comes back and says they won’t work on it and there’s ‘nothing’ they could do. I was literally in tears driving home when I passed Johnson’s Jewelers and made a u-turn. I went in and Matt Johnson greeted me and was super friendly and sympathetic about my ring. He looked at it for about 10 seconds before telling me he could fix it! I was SO happy. It took a few weeks, but it was so worth it, and at a very reasonable price too. Not only did he fix it, but he made it look even better than it did before it was bent. Prior to this, I had it resized at Diamond Exchange in Johnson City and was not happy with the way my ring was returned to me. After getting it back from Diamond Exchange in JC, my ring had dark spots all over it and some of the crystal’s brackets were open. Matt at Johnson’s Jewelers replaced the crystal, reshaped the ring, and re-polished it until it looked brand new! I definitely recommend Johnson’s Jewelers and I would take my jewelry there again in a heartbeat. Not only was it great quality work, but they also understood the value of this ring to me.
They do great work...
