My floors were cleaned but nothing at all was dusted, sink faucets were not cleaned at all, and no baseboards were dusted/vacuumed. Desk was still dusty. I paid for a deep clean, spent nearly $200 for my small 1100 SF house plus I left 2 $20’s for their tip. Owner did not call me back. I sent detailed email with photos and still heard nothing. I should have called the bank and canceled the check.

I had ME come in while I was recouping from surgery. My first experience was not good. The two girls did a very poor job. Since I was paying $75.00 I could not go without saying something. I called the office and spoke to Cynthia. She came back to my house to check their work and totally apologized. She told me two different girls would be out in 2 days. I have had those same two replacement girls two times since. I also spoke with Cynthia about maybe leaving a response card for customers to return in the mail. It is better to call the company and give the office the message that you are not happy. It cant help a company if people just put on a bad review and doesn’t let the company try to please the customer.

They had one fantastic cleaner who is no longer with the company. They have a very high employee turnover so you may have someone new from week to week. The business owners have very poor management skills - and I would only recommend you use the service if you are Desperate. Lock up your valuables and meds as well.

Absolutely NO STAR would be our rating for this very unprofessional service company. My parents are elderly and needed a house keeper for 1700 sq ft townhouse they just purchased. They live in Abingdon VA. Two ladies came. One spoke poor English, the other no English. They came to dust and do general house work. No dusting was done, mirrors did not get cleaned. Floors done satisfactory, but a bucket was placed on the carpet while they cleaned the hardwood floors. Later that same day a spot began to form where the bucket was placed, cleaning product had been spilled at the doorway to one bedroom. My mother observed this bucket on her carpet. The spot finished drying and turned the burber carpet white when it should be tan and brown tone. The company was notified by telephone myself that night 10/20/17 and a message left. My Dad called and left his complaint Monday 10/23/17. I called as well, again 10/24/17 and wrote an email and attached photos of the damaged carpet. It is now 10/26/17 and we have yet to hear back either by email or phone call. The carpet is ruined and the $108 that was spent for the two hours was terrible. I helped my mother when I arrived that night for a visit to dust and clean mirrors. Everything the maids did not do, that they where contracted to do. I would be very willing to change my review should this company make right with my folks. They are very elderly and shame on Maids Extraordinaire for taking advantage of these good people. BAD BAD BAD business practice!

The workers who cleaned my place before New Years were clearly overbooked and in a rush. They turned on my wax burner and didnt turn it off before they left. I was out of town for the holiday, so it was left on nonstop for 4 days straight. Thank God it didnt start a fire. I walked into the bathroom and there was a smudge of poop on the toilet seat. They clearly cleaned the inside of the rim or bowl with the same washcloth they used to wipe down the seat and didnt bother to wipe off the poop they got on the seat. The vanity had smudges on it and had clearly not been cleaned. They took out the trash and didnt even bother to put a new bag back in th can, which was left sitting in the middle of the room. None of my carpets were vacuumed as hair and dirt were still in them. Clearly, my apartment was not cleaned. I told management about this and apparently the owner still wanted me to pay $35 even though my apartment was dirtier than before they cleaned it, and they almost burned it down. I am still trying to get the owner to call me so we can discuss this. Its been almost a month but she or he has yet to call me. Dont hire these people unless you want a headache. Nobody in their right mind would pay a cent to have poop put on their toilet seat while cleaning and almost having their apartment burned down on top of that. Management is very unresponsive to customers; I am still trying to get this resolved and its almost February. Absolutely do not hire these people unless you want to pay for a dirtier apartment than before they arrived. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would give them 0 stars if possible.UPDATE 04/06/17: The owner and office STILL refuse to return my phone calls. I have left several messages and none have been returned. They refuse to return the key to my apartment, so I have had to pay to have my locks changed. They were notified about this issue in January and it is still unresolved as of today, 04/06. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. This has been SUCH a headache.

They worked very hard, but it seemed as though nothing had been dusted. It was extremely embarrassing as we had company coming the next day. I would try them again with more direction on our priorities... ie basic dusting over an hour spent cleaning mini blinds.

Maids Extraordinaire was an terrible disappointment. We had a contract for them to clean our office, but their work was lackluster and there was an established pattern of things going missing. Our windows were never washed, which we knew because a large smudge on a window has been there for several years. They usually did not vacuum, because we would routinely find crumbs on the floor first thing in the morning after they cleaned the night before. Things would go often go missing. On one occasion, we contacted them about the missing item and they returned it a few days later claiming they thought it was garbage so they took it home.I am amazed they are still in business.

The owners and staff are extremely professional and caring. They go above and beyond to make ones experience with them satisfying and pleasing.
