I have used Appalachian Maid Services for 4 years now, and Ive always been impressed with the quality of their work. Allison is a wonder, getting this place dirt and pet-hair free in record time. It would take me a couple of days to clean what she does in just a few hours. I cannot recommend them highly enough - friendly, professional, and they get the job done!

I would highly recommended Appalachian Maids!! They do an excellent job down to every last detail - making beds, toilet paper flowers, making a cute arrangement of stuffed animals on the kiddos beds. They always give us a time frame when they will arrive (ex between 12-1pm), which is very helpful for my hubs who works from home so he can try to run errands during that time to stay out of the way. I cannot say enough good things!

With an immune compromised person in our home, their diligence in wearing masks and contacting customers prior to each cleaning to ensure there is no Covid exposure in the home allows us to feel safe with Appalachian Maid Service employees in our home.

We were considering replacing our stove but they made it look brand new. Their services are affordable and my house is always sparkling and fresh when they leave. I try to always request Jennifer for my regular cleanings because she’s friendly, efficient and my chihuahua loves her. My house has never been so clean and fresh. Crown molding was dusted baseboards were scrubbed down I have a dog and two cats my floors are now spotless countertops are spotless bathrooms Are spotless steps were swept there attention to detail is spot on. Appalachian Maid Service is the best! I found out about them from a women I Nanny for, I’m a busy college student who also works full time & have 3 other roommates. We had a deep clean of our apartment and it was wonderful. The ladies were so kind and did a great job. I will definitely be using AMS again & recommend it to anyone!

Have used them multiple times for multiple properties. The first time was great but ever since then, quality has been slacking. A shelf for my refrigerator was broken and I still don’t have a replacement for it. I’ve attached photos from my most recent clean with them where they missed tons of dog hair and sink grime. They charge way too much money to blatantly miss things like this.

I really didn’t know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. The oven hasn’t been this clean since I moved in. My fridge is amazing. But the thing that really hit home: I had a picture of my first love lying on top of my bookshelf. When I came in, I saw his face, prominently displayed. We have just reconnected. Just the attention to detail is amazing. I really appreciate everything! Sometimes it’s the little things that make it so special.

I called a couple agencies looking for someone to clean our house and Appalachian Maids was the one I choose because of the kindness, consideration and professionalism I received on the phone. The first time they came out I was not home but when I returned the house was amazing. Then the 2nd time I was home and met Katie who was very nice, considerate and again professional - she did a great job and the house was shining when she left. The 3rd time I was not home and I forgot who came but she did a great job - coming home to a clean house feels so good. Then COVID hit had to wait a few months - when I called to see if I could get back on schedule, Abby was the lucky one who got to come - she did a wonderful job of getting all the dust bunnies that were hiding, my bathrooms sparked, and all my floors throughout the house were spotless. I will continue my service with Appalachian Maids for a very long time because of the courteous and professionalism that is preformed and received each time they come to clean.

At first they were good but later on they were always in a hurry. Once I asked her to do a few extra things and she charged me extra without going over that with me. I don’t mind being charged extra for the additional work. But You should discuss the extra charges with the client in advance and that should be your initiative. Disappointed that they started out well and couldn’t keep up the initial impressions later on.

I have had maid service for over 30 years. This is the worst and most expensive ever. $30.00 an hour should produce a clean house. NOT! Plus they added $20.00 for “out of area”. I’m 12 miles from the service persons home. Closer then her home to the office. I assumed for the price the place would be very clean. I called and complain and was told that someone would come out and fix the discrepancies.So I had to name the areas that were not cleaned after 10 areas I stopped. Also it would be a week and a half before someone would show up. Find someone else.

Absolutely terrible company. My wife worked for them and her experience was awful. The owner of the business doesnt do any of the work yet she is completely rude and aggressive towards her employees. I have seen first-hand the jobs that they have done and they are not up to standard. She does not take her time doing effective work but only does work to get done quick.

They came out twice. Neither time were my shelves dusted, the edges of my bathroom floor were still filthy. My floors were not mopped the second time. I sent an email telling them I was discountinueing their services and she apologized and said she understands. If I ever wanted to try them again she would make it up to me. Yet still charged me for the second cleaning which was horrible!!!!

Very reasonably priced. They cleaned my late mother-in-laws house before it sold out of probate and it looks beautiful.
