Everyone was super accommodating. Nikki was exceptionally pleasant and efficient. Shana provided superior performance with the prophylaxis, very patient with the patient and exhibited a high degree of expertise. The Doctor said hi(Im kidding). He explained the condition very well and had exceptional interaction with the patient.We were new to the practice so this might change (still kidding). We had a short window to make the appointment and they accommodated us by filling a cancelled appointment. We were very thankful for that. They called us twice because we did not get to the first call in time and they could have moved on but they called back to make contact. Now how often have you heard of that? They are first rate people and this reflects well on the entire practice. Great people, great boss.

After moving, I had to find a new dentist and that’s always stressful. I walked into Johnson City Smiles and immediately felt comfortable! Bailey did an amazing job walking me through the new patient process and cleaning my teeth. She was very helpful answering questions. Dr. Damron was also very insightful and answered any questions that I had. Overall a great experience and highly recommend!

Lifelong patient of this practice, before it was even this practice. New business name, new dentist, new receptionist, and now a new hygienist. Dr. Damien is very good, as is the hygienist who replaced Robin. I have to say, I miss being able to rinse though! And waiting 3 months for a filling appointment is new as well. Hopefully that isn’t a sign that I wouldn’t be able to get if something was urgent. Although my daughter did have to go to another practice for an emergency a while back because she couldn’t get an appointment. Overall satisfied with practice though and know they are well qualified and good at their jobs.

I always liked the girl that cleans my teeth, she’s very friendly and gentle. The reason why Im planning to change my dental clinic soon is because of the snobby/rude front desk lady that does the appointment, I don’t think she’s happy with her job. This is the 2nd time I encountered her unfriendly behavior.

I had an emergency situation and appreciate being worked in for an appointment. The technician was very friendly and efficient. She seemed very knowledgeable. Dr. Damron explained what he thought was my problem and ground down my crown in order for my bite to fit better. He, also, told me this was a temporary fix, and that I should have the crown replaced. The ladies at the front desk said they would check with my insurance and do a work up, so I will know what my financial obligation will be. In short, the visit worked out very well.

Great Dentist and very friendly and competent staff

We moved from NC about 5 yrs ago. Never had an issue getting my kids to go willingly to the dentist while in NC.We tried 3 dentists since moving here and my kids refused to go back to each of the 3.THEN WE FOUND JOHNSON CITY SMILES ! We LOVE them ! The staff is so friendly and helpful. They are actually a dentist vs a tooth monitor. My son had a wonderful experience here his last 2 visits . I went for my first visit myself today and was impressed.I highly recommend JOHNSON CITY SMILES.

Beautiful new office. Everyone is very friendly and professional. Im a big baby when it comes to dental work and they will use nitrous to assist me even with cleanings. While I wasnt worried or concerned about it, during these times of hyper paranoia about COVID, they are taking more than enough precautions. They even sanitized and cleaned my chair in the lobby as soon as I got up to go back for my exam. Free Starbucks or McDonalds coffee in the lobby if you like coffee and even the music was fun for me and my wife as it was from the late 70s early 80s. Dr. Damron is very skilled but also kind and compassionate. And he explains everything very well, even for non clinicians to easily understand.I hadnt been to the dentist in 14 or 15 years. Yes, I dislike it that much, but I will be going back every 6 months like Im supposed to now. I can, without reservation, fully recommend Johnson City Smiles and Dr. Mark Damron.

My first visit was today and it was 150% satisfactory. Great office staff and I really enjoyed Mark, my new dentist. I have some unusually complicated dental issues. Mark is definately up to the task!! Check back for my next review in about 3 weeks.

Very friendly staff the minute I walked in! Misty is a very thorough hygienist and I felt comfortable during my cleaning. Dr. Damron was great and placed a small filling for me the same day! I do recommend coming here.

On Saturday, I had what I would consider a dental emergency, but no dental insurance. I googled dentists in my area emailed Johnson City Smiles thinking that I would get an automated message, but instead the dentist himself returned my email and had one of his office staff contact me first thing Monday morning. On Wednesday I was in his office and had my problem fixed (I couldve gotten in sooner, but I chose to wait until my day off). Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful and the service was much more affordable than I had prepared myself to believe it would cost. I now know who my dentist is going to be and will highly recommend Johnson City Smiles to anyone needing a dentist! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dr Damron is a top-notch dentist and he his staff are knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. When he took over our retiring dentists practice some years back, we were concerned about how things would go with the new guy. Im happy to report that it has gone very well indeed. My wife and I have nothing but good things to say.He has since moved the practice to a much better location, added many more seats, and now has all the latest technology at his disposal.For instance, compared to old analog x-rays, his new digital operation uses far less radiation and the results are available onscreen immediately, where he can see much more detail and make decisions with a higher confidence level. You definitely dont want your dentist having to guess about whats going on in your mouth when hes making an action plan for your teeth.So if youre looking for a new dentist, call Johnson City Smiles. Nobody likes having to go to the dentist, but if you have to, make it a good one.
