Went for an initial visit a month ago, and was quoted a reasonable price for a cleaning. Drove over an hour for the appointment today and was told it was going to be $200 more than I was quoted. I still had the previous paper I was given with the quote. I was told I would just have to deal with it. You’re better off going elsewhere. Woman at the front desk refused to see if there was anything they could do or figure out why the price was different.

I went in for a cleaning and I had visited before, but this time I had new insurance and after the cleaning I was told Aspen didnt accept it. That was a bummer but the lady at the front desk worked quickly to leave me with a better experience and I really appreciated that.Also special mention to the dental hygienist Theresa ( I may be spelling it wrong) she is fantastic and warm and friendly. I am really introverted so I didnt feel like I was particularly endearing but she was very kind. The foreign- accented lady Doc is decidedly less charismatic.

I truly loved my experience at Aspen Dental! They were super thorough and caught issues with my gums that my previous dentist missed, and helped me create a treatment plan that worked for me and my budget.

The worst I have ever been to period. Would avoid at all cost and would sue if need be. The cleaning was the only good part.. They try to bate and hook you to get more money. You set one thing to do then they try to get you to do either two more things or change the set plan all together without telling. Maybe even try to do more damage so you try to go back and get them to repair it. Was my first time trying them heard that others around the country are not good and Im not only not impressed but also in unnecessary pain because they dont care about doing a job well done

I know I previously left a review, but I had to come back and leave another. If I could give more stars I certainly would! Let me tell you about how amazing Aspen staff truly are. So I have medical PTSD. I mentioned this to the staff before they began to do my dental work. Not only did the dentist put on some soothing music to help calm my mind, but she also talked me through the entire procedure. She calmed me in a way that even my doctors have been unable to do up to this point. Instead of the normal crazy anxiety and fear. I had to keep from laughing while she did my dental work. The staff are just simply amazing and left me with zero fears of returning to them.

First visit, from the time I enter the staff was very polite and helpful, X-Ray text was also very professional, then when I met Teresa or Sheila to explain the concern with my teeth (Very helpful) explained and gave me sheet that explained the process.....After all that the Dentist came in and explain and showed me X-rays and ask me what I felt about the procedures that was necessary for me to have problems fixed (Can you believe she gave ME an option for the concerns she had......After that I was taken to payment department and appointment department allow ME again to choose a plan that fit me explain and printed out how much it would COST (VERY DIFFERENT than any other dentist office I HAVE BEEN to) I will be going back on the 26th for first Dentist procedure.If you need a fully engaged Dentist I would certainly advise you to go to ASPEN.....Will write another review after my first procedure....THANKS Elaine

So 3 or 4 years ago when I had all my major dental work done I would of rated it 5 stars. “Doc” is amazing dentist and does great, fast, and efficient work. Back then I had just paid a lot of $$$$ to get my teeth fixed and my smile back. It was great. Well as of now I have warranty for 7 years but they charged me an office visit to fix a broken tooth that was covered under my warranty and got no exam, no X-rays, nobody looked in my mouth or nothing. Doc finally came in and did not EVEN address or acknowledge my broke one until she’s cracking me upfront to “check out” and BC I said I could not afford to do options right today they wanted me out. I asked about options something that was told to be included in warrant is not and is only almost 1k and the office manager was not even going to go over implants BC they are 9k like they knew I couldn’t pay for it. I get like a cow getting pushed through and kicked out BC I had no milk $$$$. I felt so embarrassed, and so judged like she just knew I couldn’t afford it EVER in my life time. Well years ago it was fine and you were nice taking my 6k or 7k I spent. Yes I plan on doing other options but BC I say not at this exact moment and unless your forking out money they care less about you.

This place is all about the money it took over 2.5 hours for me to be seen then once I was seen the dentist came in for all of 5 minutes but then provided over 3500.00 worth of stuff I did NOT need everyone was really nice until started refusing services such as the 140.00 tooth brush she tried to sell me when I was asked to walk to the check when I tried to ask the dentist questions she was short and rushed and told me they would explain everything to me at the front desk.. I waited over and hour just for the dentist to come in they did NOT explain thing well once when the dentist ask me if I wanted certain things that were OPTIONAL and when I said NO she STILL added it to my treatment plan I went in to get a cleaning and a front tooth fixed only to be there for over 3 hours and left the same way I walked in the lady that went over explaining my treatment plan was super nice until I told her that I didnt want that 140.00 tooth brush I ended up getting up and walking out this place was a JOKE and only after MONEY it really sad!!!! I will NEVER step foot in that place NOR would I recommend this place to my worst enemy..

Teresa is amazing. She has cleaned my teeth before and I can only say great things about her. She’s very personable and she cares. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. She’s awesome and I would highly recommend her!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY! THEY ACT LIKE THEY CARE, BUT ITS REALLY ABOUT THE MONEY!!! My fiancé has had $5,000 worth of work done on him. They told him to call if anything comes up. Monday he had extreme pain from a tooth. We called the emergency number and said they would call us back to let us know what could be done. They informed us that the doctor said they cant do anything and to just make sure not to eat on the side to pain was on. We called the office the next morning (Tuesday) and they said that he couldnt be seen until late April. How is someone with a dental emergency supposed to wait a month??? Two days later (Thursday) he is in extreme pain again. He is not the kind of person to scream or cry and yet he was. We called them AGAIN and the lady on the phone was extremely rude! She said they couldnt do anything. She couldnt even help us with were to go. We were able to get him seen at Johnson City Dental. They were able to pull the tooth SAME DAY and it turns out he had an abscess!!! That could have gone into his blood stream, (its so dangerous) yet they wanted him to wait a whole month. Shame on them! They are supposed to be professionals who care!

It was an amazing visit to Aspen dental everyone was so cheerful and so nice. Went there down and out came out super happy. Dr Johnson pulled my tooth within seconds. Cannot believe she had pulled my tooth so quickly and so painless. Mother Teresa dental hygienist was wonderful and giving directions on how to further care for my teeth. I would recommend Aspen dental to anyone who needs dental work.

Everyone was friendly and professional and very informative. I had a lot of questions and all were answered patiently and politely. I am overwhelmed and they are a grounding force.

I find that this office is so married to protocol that I left there feeling like they didnt listen to me at all and my problem was not solved. I came in because Id lost a filling. It was in an easily accessible location on a front tooth. They insisted I needed an appointment to assess it before filling the hole left behind. They also insisted taking an xray even though I told them it was easily viewable. So $91 later the dentist came in glanced at the tooth and said I needed a filling. All of 3 minutes. Maybe. I dont know if she even looked at the xray. I told them I needed a filling. The pre filling visit felt entirely like a money making move AND they didnt listen to my words at all. I told them I needed a filling and it was a clean hole that should be easy to fill. Also they had told me the visit would be $19 but then charged me $91 to do absolutely nothing once I got there.

I am extremely aggrevated with some aspects of the Johnson City office. However, the dentist has a somewhat pleasent attitude, but I found out today that she had NOT removed all tooth particles from a prior extraction and the company wants to charge me again and do oral surgery. What gives? That same dentist should learn also that what they say with other patients can be heard by other patients and she had a couple bad comments about certain branches of the military were FAKE soldiers and the Army was the real soldiers and the Navy were FAKE soldiers. I guestioned her about this once she entered my room and she more or less just tried to cover her response up with dibber dabble talk. I didnt buy it and told her directly that ALL SOLDIERS WERE JUST AS IMPORTANT. NO MATTER WHAT BRANCH THEY SERVED IN.Now...on to the real root of the problem with Aspen at this office. I am sick and tired of the financial officegal..Destiny trying to upsale a simple extraction of three teeth onto a $9000.00 procedure and using OFFICE PROTO ALL as an excuse....and then have the ignorance to where she cannot admit to understanding WHY the customer gets down right straight and honest with her. Please note this is NOT the first time I have seen this woman in action. I have told her before....several times....I AM NOT PAYING $9000.00 TO MAKE REPAIRS TO MY TEETH at my age when I only have about less than half of them left.And the ones I do have left, less a couple....all have cavities and problems. My dad and my mom had very similar issues and had to have dentures at a very early age. Why is it that Aspen Dental has signs up covering their walls advertising great smiles with their dentures???And then when one asks about dentures....Oh no!!! They...Destiny states its PROTOCOL to make repairs and install partials. Heck, even with several partials....I STILL HAVE NO TEETH ON MY LOWER JAW ....SO WHATS THE JPPER PARTIAL GONNA DO? DESTINY told me I could chew my food now....WHAT....how am I gonna chew my food with only a few upper teeth and no teeth on the bottom jaw???I am a service connected disabled veteran....I wished I could get dental from the Vet Hospital. But I am only at 60% so thats not an option.Another thing....why did Destiny demand per protocol I pay $200.00 up front...for a new appointment just a day and a half later? My records show I HAVE NEVER NOT PAID IN FULL THE DAY OF MY VISIT. Her first EXCUSE...was that she had cancelled someones appt to get me in a day and a half later.....?????.....and that would help assure I came back....again????.... I then asked her what happens if the dentist doesnt show???? She stated...OB...THE DENTIST WILL BE HERE...My response was well then....I have to take your word....but I have to pay you for mine???? Jesus Christmas!!!And to find out ..... If the doctor doesnt show ...theyll refund my money....somewhere around 3 days later???? Ha ha....And if I dont show.... theyll refund my money.....so of thats the case ...then why take the money anyway. ???And another thing....Destiny then told me the money was due to she HAD CANCELLED ANOTHER CLIENTS APPOINTMENT TO GET ME IN SO QUICK. I NEVER EVER NEVER ASKED FOR THAT AND IT WAS WRONG OF JER TO TREAT ANOTHER CLIENT THAT WAY!!! SHAME ON YOU.JUST MY OPINION....THIS DESTINY PERSON SHOULD TAKE SOME CLASSES AND LEARN BETTER PR AND NOT TRY TO GOUGE PEOPLE AND TREAT THEM AS AO EY PIT.WHAT THE USA NEEDS NOW IS RESPECTFUL PEOPLE WITH THE INTEHRIY AND MORALS TO DO THE RIGHT THING. Very impersonal. Felt like buying a car. Very little listening from the staff. Tried to get me to sign up for $15,000.00 of work and offered a payment plan. When I said no they wouldnt let it go. Kept trying to close the deal. Money seemed more important than my dental needs. The woman who took my X-rays was very nice. Thats the only nice thing I can say.

Would be giving 0 stars if i could i had a good experience there several years back but not now went in to have a extraction only for them to do everything else exept take out the tooth just to milk the insurance and after all was done they then tell me my insurance doesnt cover it to take the tooth out an try to get me to pay almost $300 to have it removed costing me a day of work and alot of wasted time not and still in pain not happy at all

I was well treated but I still have the tooth ache they wouldn’t pull teeth today . So I still hurt at this time!!!!

All of the staff are incredibly nice and thats the only good thing I have to say about this place. The wait times can be insane as there is only one dentist and they schedule 4 or 5 people in the same time slot. This also makes your experience feel incredibly rushed, like youre a part on an assembly line that needs to go out the door. My fillings were rough and uneven and they messed one up to the point that now I need a root canal. I 100% recommend going elsewhere for dental work.

Treated with such kindness and respect from the minutes I walked in. Made this entire situation that much easier to get through. Very professional, fast and courteous doctors, techs, hygienists and even the finance specialist. I certainly will not be going anywhere else for treatment going forward.

Very friendly and welcoming, the staff definitely makes you feel good about your self. All financial options were laid out on the table for me. They will work with you as much as they can, and they want to give you the smile you want and deserve(its never too late). There are many ways to go about your decisions financially, wether its all at one or you pay at your own pace, they even have financing available. Great place and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I really enjoy my visits to Aspen. While they are a large company, my hygienist makes it feel like a comfortable visit to a friend. They have all the latest technology and lots of friendly and qualified folks.

Just dont go here. Better off in the long run.

I didnt really appreciate how long i had to wait to see someone. Took me back to a exam room for a hour till someone see me to look in my mouth and then send me back to the receptionist to look at what kind of dentures I wanted and back to the waiting room for another half hour to get fitted. Very unprofessional.

I loved my experience at Aspen Dental. Every single employee that I had contact with was kind, efficient, and helpful.

They were prompt with their service and everyone, especially The Doctor. Place was exceptionally clean and sterile but not so much you felt clinical about it.

They are awful. Spend the extra maybe $20 to go somewhere else! This place will NOT work with you, they do NOT do what you want, they only will adhere to their own agenda and dont listen to you AT ALL. Its their way or the highway and Ill never step foot into an aspen office again. Highly disappointed. What a huge rip off!

I was nervous at first but they took the time to explain everything in detail to me, and they make sure that they have the best scan of your mouth so that your denture will fit properly when they get your teeth out and put it in. I was worried at first because I thought that I would have it all done in one day like some other offices do, but now that I have been to Aspen I feel better about how they do things and take the time to make sure you will have the best fit! I am excited to have a new smile in a week!! Thanks to all the staff for being so understanding and sincere.

They were able to assist me with fiancing to cover what my insurance did not - very quickly and easily!!! I was completely unhappy with my experience here. Rushed through like it was a production line. Dentist ran in and ran out. My cleaning was far from thorough. Charged for unnecessary work, telling me inaccuracies to get me to agree. Yes... this place has cheap cleanings and financing available... but you get what you pay for. I wouldnt send my dog for dental work here.

Ive never ever liked going to the dentist. Yesterday, I went to Aspen Dental for the first time and it was an awesome experience. There was plenty of staff and they were wonderful, friendly and very good at what they do. I had 3 teeth pulled and Im a little bit sore, but it was the best dental visit that I have ever experienced. I still need more work done and Im actually looking forward to it. I will recommend them to anyone who needs dental work done. Thank you Aspen Dental!

They are great! So so nice and made me feel good and comfortable. I have bad anxiety and going to the dentist gives me so much more anxiety, but the dentists, and the hygienists made me feel so at ease and comfortable and helped me so much! Even the ladies in the front made me feel great! Even when I called to make my appointment I felt great and ready because the receptionist was just so nice and honest and just talked to me and did not rush me off the phone, that was the first awesome sign that they are amazing! They are happy and in a good smiling mood all the time. Laughing and just a great homey feel environment! 100% recommend them! I seen both dentist and they are both amazing! This being my first visit I was impressed! All 3 staff members were Phenomenal! The Front desk receptionist went out of her way to help in any way she could, she was very nice ! The dental assistant was understanding, polite and informative walking me through the xrays and assisting me and taking time to listen to my concerns! Now the dentist, I liked her also she was informative about my teeth and very positive/helpful, upbeat on where we go from here to get my teeth issues taken care of, I have not been keeping up with my dental issues and they were catching up with me. They took me in at a last minutes notice. I really Appreciate That! Cuudos to everybody!!

I make no exaggeration when I say the WORST STAFF!!I walked in with the worst pain imaginable hoping to be worked in for my first appointment and the girl at the front desk was turned around talking to the girl behind her showing something on her cell phone. She took the time long enough to tell me hold on a second and continued talking to the girl behind her. I wait standing there awkwardly, I walked away to sit down for about 5 minutes & I get back up and both girls are gone into what I assume is an office. I can clearly see them standing there talking, laughing, hanging out. At this point I had to leave. This was clearly an office ran by a bunch of kids. I will never go back.

Sheila is a wonderful dental assistant. This was my third cleaning/checkup with her, and she didnt hurt me at all. I appreciate her gentle touch as I have sensitive teeth. She also provided a very thorough cleaning. She gave me advice on whitening and complimented me for doing a good job on taking care of my teeth. Her demeanor was very pleasant and always quick with a smile. Dont let this one go, Dr.Pham!!

The first time that I had gone to aspen dental, the experience was great. The second time (which was for an emergency), it was also pretty decent. I had a tooth filling about 3 months ago and started to notice the filling to be discolored around the edges, and some mild discomfort (only when I push on it). When I called to make an appointment, they asked if it was hurting and I said “no”. I mean, it only mildly bothered me when I pushed on it, and I didn’t think it was too painful. My appointment was at 830. I was taken inside on time, but sat in the back for 45mins without anyone coming to tell me that the doctor was running behind. Being a medical professional myself, I felt that it was unprofessional to have a patient sitting there without any update. I would at least tell my patients that I am running late on the days that I do. I had to walk out before being seen because I had another appointment down the street at 930. I was walking out and told the lady at the front desk that I would need an appointment again, but due to Covid, they were only seeing emergencies the following week. I was pretty upset that they had not wanted to accommodate me somehow. The lady asked me if my tooth was hurting and I said no (like I said, it doesn’t hurt if I don’t push on it). I called back to reschedule my appointment, told them that I was very unhappy with my experience there, and when I said that I was having discomfort when I pushed on the filling, the lady went on to tell me that that’s NOT what I told her and was very rude to me over the phone. I might not consider going back and I might not continue to recommend this place anymore. I might give them another shot but I might not. Let’s see if they can accommodate me.

My experience with Aspen Dental has been very positive to date. I have had an exam and a cleaning. Shelia did an excellent job in cleaning my teeth, very gentle and no pain even though I had a sensitive tooth. I have future procedures scheduled and look forward to their continued professionalism and excellent patient service.

If I could give this place no stars at all I would the dentist does not care what you are requesting to be done even if it is a simple tooth pulling she will spend 30 plus minutes trying to convince you do get $4500 dollars worth of other work done instead of that no matter how many times you say no. And when she realizes she cant pull more money from you that wsi she will suddenly decide shes not comfortable pulling your tooth that youll have to come back to have surgery in a few days so youre bill goes from 115 to 250 plus. All she wants from you is money.

I absolutely adore this Dentist Office!!!I never EVER thought in a million years I would sit in a Dentist chair and laugh so hard at the quick witted jokes the dentist told or feel that comfortable, usually I am so anxious and am in tears or have taken a Xanax (or three) just to get thru any visit!This office was amazing every aspect of it from checking in to the awesome dentist to the check out lady! I don’t feel as if I met my new dental staff but also a new group of friends!!Thanks guys!! I look forward to coming back!!XxDonna Hufford/-Hart

THE ONLY REASON I PUT 5 STARS IS SO THIS CAN BE SEEN. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ASPEN DENTAL IS HORRIBLE! ABSOLUTELY DO NOT APPLY FOR THE CARE CREDIT THERE. (DESTINY) THE ONE WHO GETS YOU TO APPLY LIES TO YOU & SHE ACTS LIKE SHES IN A HURRY TO GET YOU TO HURRY & SIGN WITHOUT READING . THEY GOT MAD & HATEFUL WITH ME WHEN I WAS JUST TRYING TO SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON.

I am really apprehensive about seeing a dentist. My experience was not as bad as visits to dentist in the past. I like the fact they didnt put me in more pain before working on my teeth. Very professional. Thank you very much and may you all stay safe.

It was good and direct. Not a money pit. Found out my options rather quickly. Good dentist. She was direct, honest, and professional

Experience was good, treatment was ok but office a little fast paced for a retired, laid back person like me. Felt like a product on a conveyor belt where profit was the main push. Could be recovery from being closed during COVID-19. Main reason for using was I’m a full time RV’er so offices all over made Aspen a good choice.

The folks here have one thing in common. They all care for you and your teeth health. Very well run operation.Very friendly and helpful staff..

This was the first time that I have dealt with Aspen Dental all the Personnel from start to finish were very professional the x-ray technician the office manager and the Doctor I would highly recommend Aspen Dental

I had an emergency they saw me first thing and worked me in that day. The sweetest most positive personal.

A couple upper staff and the dentist have done this job so long they forget how to be respectful and patient caring. I had to return my dentures and then be without after all teeth had been pulled simply because I paid for the best brand which kept breaking.

I was pleased with the professional ability of my Aspen financial officer. I was not very happy with waiting more than 1 1/2 hours past my appointment time. I was there at 1pm and did not get seen by the dentist until 3 pm.

Very informative about your teeth and gums. They took all the saftey precautions posible. My experience was very good.

Everyone has been nice and made me feel at home. With much needed work done they have not been judgemental and have not made me feel uncomfortable at all. They helped with a payment plan and seemed very reasonable on their Rates.Very clean business and friendly, professional people. I will be going back after my second Visit to have more work done and i am very pleased with my overall experience.

Aspen dental in Johnson city has the best staff Ive ever encountered . They are happy about there work they are on top of everything from start to finish . The dentist well she was pretty awesome . She sings she jokes in terrified of the dentist but not after meeting with her . The rest of the staff is truly amazing Im so thankful I have found them . If youre thinking about coming to Aspen Im telling you right now do it! Do it ! Thanks for everything today guys .
