I just had the worse experience with Rocco Because I move my chair to be closer to my 14 year old son getting his hair cut, He tells me I put him in a bad mood! I Say I’m Paying for customer service sir! I continue to watch and ask can he correct this mistake he gets even more mad and say we done I’m in middle of my sons hair cut mind you I was getting a cut next! I explained his demeanor needed to change I’m a customer who has done nothing but come support his business he tell me he don’t want it don’t come back removed the apron from my son and told us to leave smh I’ve been taking my so there since he was 6 to this one barber who was booked up( wish I would have waited) this is what I think we want these businesses by being loyal each year,mont,days if they can’t and won’t show respect in return #Shutthemdown

Visiting Some family in the area and looked up this place online about a week or 2 ago. Took my brother here and Place is just ok. Didnt get that friendly feel when walking in shop. Besides that it all Felt rushed. The guy who cut his hair kept looking at his phone like he had something else to do. (Think he might have been the owner Not to sure though) Got the feeling like if you arent a regular customer you wont come out looking your best, Or it could have just been a bad day for the barber who was working on my little brothers hair. Saw some other barbers doing some good work Maybe I should have choose one of themI wouldnt had mind paying the price that they charged if they made his shape up look a little better Dont know If we would go back anytime we are in the area again. Again you just get that feeling if you arent a regular here it wont be the best I will say the shop was clean

Rico started cutting my sons hair back when he was young. Only 2 other people have ever cut his hair. One was me and the other cut his skin really bad. Rico is the best. Now my son says no one but Rico will ever touch his hair.

I’ve been coming into Rico’s now for over 20 years. I’m very pleased and happy with my haircuts and the service. The exact reason why I’ve been coming here for so long 🙂). I was a little concerned at first when the pandemic hit and they switched over to appointments only. That concern went away very quickly when I saw that I was able set up an appointment with Rico very easy and get in quickly, with my schedule. Very happy with my experience and I’ll continue being a loyal customer. 👍🏽👍🏽

Very unhappy with the cut I received from Rico. I wanted a low fade and came out with a buzz cut looking like I’m going into the army. I show him a picture of me with the exact cut I want to get and he still does it wrong. And this guy is suppose to be the head barber. I will not be returning.

I recently found out that the owner of this business, not knowing anything about me or acquainted in any way other than coming in for haircuts, decided that it’s profesional to bad mouth his customers after leaving his shop. I’ve been going to his shop for about 4 years, up until recently. I don’t understand how a business owner with such an EGO feels that it’s acceptable to bad mouth his customers behind their back once their no longer in the shop. What purpose does this serve Rico? Other than achieving a horrible review for your professionalism.

After months on no hair cuts, Rico had my boys looking better than ever when they left his chair. The prices are fair and There was barely any wait time. Im not a fan of the parking situation but I definitely plan to continue taking both my sons there

The best place for a new York style cut...

Called twice on 12/18 to see if there were any appointments available. Phone was quickly answered and hung up before I had a chance to even say hello. I just wanted to ask if they had open spots. Promptly called back to make sure it wasn’t my phone dropping signal or what not and the same thing happened, except I could hear music playing in the backround. I tried saying hello, but was hung up on a second time. Even if they were completely swamped, I would have appreciated a “hello”. Very unimpressed.

River is the guy he is a Awesome barber he definitely has what it takes to be a New York styles barber! I will be back River!

The place is great... I have 2 grandsons that get their cut s here. Always excellent. Done right, just the way they want. One is 10, the other is 20. Highly recomend

They are professional and give one of the best cuts. They take their time with each client and don’t leave any straggler hairs. They talk to my sons and treat them with respect! I’ve been taking my boys there for the past 6 years and have ALWAYS been satisfied with the end result! It doesn’t matter who cuts their hair...Rico runs a tight ship!!

Not worth $25. They say they have to charge $25 because they have to use appointments and they get less customers. Come up with some new ideas or something. Costcutters uses appointments, but still allows people to wait / squeeze in. I wont go back until they make some changes.

Was my first time at the NY Styles JC location. Both Barbershop locations are almost always busy, but you can sometimes get lucky. Priced reasonably and always has a good vibe.

New York Styles is the best barber shop Ive ever visited. They offer great prices and do hair designs as well as fades. Their customer service is always 100%. And on wenseday the base price of any haircut such as a fade is only $7! I actually got the design in my profile picture at New York Styles.

They provide incredible hair service! The only let down is the waiting time. I would have thought they would have expanded by now. Just in order to cut down the waiting time but I guess thats how things will be if youre that good at what you do. People will always line up for the services.

I’ve been taking my nephews here for many years now. Today must have been a bad day for one of their barbers. Only one of my nephews got their hair cut because he loves and supports new York styles but clearly they don’t value their customers because my nephew came out with half of his mustache shaved after we sat and waited for two and a half hours and I tip the MF $5 dollars SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️ guy is such an asswhipe I should have walked back in and said something to him but didn’t want to embarrass my nephews . So I took my other nephew down the street to benzas barber shop and they did a phenomenal and outstanding job ! Want your moneys worth ride down the road they have $6 dollar haircuts on Wednesday!

First of all, wasnt clean. They dont sweep hair in between customers. Second, they can only do Bro haircuts. Dont expect them to know anything else. Vibe was unfriendly. Dont expect acknowledgement unless you know someone there.

Inexpensive, I go just for my beard and they charge $10 for almost 45 minutes of hair time, its obvious these guys love what they do and it shows in the quality of their work. Be prepared to wait if you dont show up right when they open!
