Bought a washer and dryer here just over 2 years ago, and still running great! We did have to have one repair done on the dryer, but it was under warranty and they came out and fixed it right away. I would highly recommend Tommys to anyone!

Super nice and helpful. I went in to look at a used refrigerator they had but it had been sold. Instead of trying to just sell me a different one they took the time to ask what mine had been doing, listened and told me they thought it was a simple fix instead of a major failure. They made time to come out the same day and recommended I fix mine instead of replace it. They could have had an $800 sale but acted in the customers best interest and did the much cheaper fix for me. Highly reccomed!

Atrocious Service. I called Tommys to repair a bad icemaker in my refrigerator. Six weeks later and close to $700 spent and it is still not working.First, they said they had the solution, they had me hire a plumber to redirect piping in the basement taking water to the refrigerator, that didnt work. Then they had another solution, they had me change the valve. That didnt work either. Then onto the next solution, they had me change the control board. You guessed it, it didnt work either.They then had another solution, which was to blame anyone who worked on the refrigerator previously, and they wanted to replace more parts at my expense. This is obviously guesswork and ineptitude on display, so I had to decline further repairs. Tommys doesnt seem to have any problem with this level of failure and inability to do the only thing they were hired to do --- the technician said it is up to me on what I want to do. Up to me? How about fix the freaking refrigerator or give me my money back!

Tommy is excellent at his job and extremely friendly!!! I highly recommend him! Smart and affordable, two things that usually don’t go together with technicians in any trade... if you need an appliance fixed, he’s the guy to call!!!

If I could give 100 star rating I would. He fixed my dryer with 2 small parts that were worn out. About $20 each; fixed the falling-apart vent that blew lint everywhere; vacuumed the inside completely. Cost? $90 with labor.Theres more: I am disabled and my husband was working double shift. A small couch has been sitting by my downstairs garage since Nov 24, in a box, but with snow, sleet and rain. FedEx ignored me. Tommy brought the box up and put my couch together. Gods guardian angels are everywhere. I gave him a $60 tip though he didnt hint for one or anything like that. Tommy is a star. A sterling man with integrity and kindness. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💓🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I called for a diagnosis of an oven problem. Tech did not show up. When I called the office they said it was scheduled for the next day which I am quite sure was incorrect. Either way they were unapologetic. The tech showed up in a timely manner the next day polite and courteous. He diagnosed the issue but because of his basic lack of understanding of electrical components he suggested a fix that would not work. He said he could fix the oven for $154 part and $40 labor. I ordered the part myself ($24) and put it in on less than 1/2 an hour ($0) with the help of a 3 minute YouTube video.
This is BOTH a 5-star and a 1-star review.We purchased a washing machine from Tommys Appliance that didnt agitate and was broken beyond repair. But it was what happened after, that earned the respective reviews.FIVE STAR REVIEW - Service & Repair:Chris, the Service & Repair technician was wonderful. He was prompt, polite and professional. He found out about our broken appliance Tuesday morning, visited our house that same day to fix it. He determined that the part needed to repair the washer cost more than the washer was worth and was able to offer us a washer of equal value to replace ours. By Wednesday night he had the new washer installed. He seemed legitimately concerned as to how this machine passed his testing and was diligent to make sure it wont happen again. He also was a good salesman and offered a lower price for a trade-in of our dryer so we could have a matching set. We are happy with our final arrangement and were very impressed with how quickly he resolved our issues.ONE STAR REVIEW - Sales & Front Office:Tommy and his wife were polite but I have some concerns about how they handled my situation:- I showed up during their open hours twice to find the doors locked and the lights off. (Saturday 10am, Tuesday 9:10am).- I called them about the broken washer 6 times on Saturday, and one time on Labor day, and again on Tuesday before they contacted me back. All calls--with the exception of the call made on Labor day--were made during their normal business hours.- At first, the offered replacement washer seemed worse than what I had purchased. When I refused the offered replacement and requested a refund I was told that returns are against company policy and they wouldnt budge on their policy even after selling me a dud.- When the store was inexplicably closed, there wasnt any notification: no note at the office, nothing on their website or their Facebook page about being closed or when they would open.- They never provided a receipt for the dryer I purchased.- After selling me a broken machine and taking a long time to resolve the situation it they didnt offer to extend my warranty period to earn my trust back.****Reply to owner****My hope in writing the review was to help reveal the areas in which the business needs to improve so that those areas could be addressed or so that others would be cautioned.For example, in my review I mentioned 7 phonecalls during business hours that all went to voicemail. This could be addressed by setting up call forwarding or by using a service that can be accessed from multiple devices, or just having a policy to check your voicemail at the end of every day (especially on Saturday before a Holiday).Another example, if the store is going to be locked during business hours and calls going to voicemail there should be a sign or message on your website or Facebook page about the closing.There are other policies that could be added to address my concerns: providing a notepad for receipts for your technicians, having a policy of providing an extended warranty if a customer purchases a broken washer, etc.I was hoping after writing my review hearing that my concerns are being addressed so that I could update this review to 4 stars, but I cant do that with the issues unresolved.You were polite and I do think I got a good deal financially but it came at the cost of a lot of time, effort and difficulty on my part that could have been avoided. If you resolve the other issues I would be able to recommend you to others without reservation.

Couldnt post when he was on Yelp, but just recommended him to my sister. His wife promptly takes your call and Tommy responds in a timely manner . For example, my sister called him on Saturday around 1:30 (closing time is 2:00 pm) and within a few minutes she called me back saying Tommy had phoned and scheduled her. Class act.
Left message for service appointment, received prompt return call. Scheduled home service appointment for a Saturday midday, with busy work schedules this was ideal.. All issues have been addressed at the time of service call. Highly recommend Tommy for your home appliance needs. Very friendly, affordable and prompt. Thanks again for getting our three appliances up and running again. On a side note our washer and dryer are Samsung he’s the only servicer for this product in the local area. Very pleased!
