Id like to start off by saying I have lived here for nearly 4 years. However, in the 3 months I have been without central air conditioning with my apartment reaching 92 degrees. Ive completed 7 maintenance requests, called the emergency maintenance phone line, left at least half a dozen voicemails, and sent several emails. I have received absolutely no response from management or attention to resolve the issue of central air in my apartment. Im at a real loss... I just want central air in my apartment again. If a property manager or landlord would please reach out, I would greatly appreciate it.

I’ve lived here maybe 3 years and it was good until we got new managers I believe; it’s very over priced and we don’t get a lot of what we pay for, the pool is always dirty, shut down or locked, we can’t even go in the laundromat for the residents, we’re supposed to have a gym. The apartments themselves aren’t bad but they’re really overpriced now and the only things I like are the basketball court and some other residents, plus I’ve talked to some people here and some have no ac, or power

After having a conversation with Sharee, the new property manager, I have to change my review. My 2 stars were when I was still a bit upset and such over the increase in rent; which makes perfect sense after I asked. Summer Chase does have a great number of amenities, and, while I do not use them myself, I have heard positive things from other tenants. They have told me that the playground is clean and, when the pool is open, it is a nice area. I do not have dogs and keep to myself, so I cant comment on the bark park

Just moved in! First impressions are key. 1) the rental process was fast and easy. Property Manager Sharee P. was great and very helpful. She treated me with respect and professionalism. 2) There were a few maintenance issues as is to be expected with a unit freshly renovated. Sharee was prompt in submitting a work order which was completed to my satisfaction in a few days. I will update this review as my residency continues. So far? Exceeding expectations..

Summer Chase is a Lovely complex, with beautiful mountain views. It is convenient to any place you need to get to in Johnson City. There are one level units making it a wonderful place to retire. Sharee and Whitney are professional, personable, and extremely nice to work with. They are prompt in providing maintenance and a huge benefit is that they provide pest control. I do love living at Summer Chase and hope to be for a long time.

My son lived here for over 1 year. He had wonderful neighbors, but overall the apartment complex has gone downhill. Management won’t answer phone calls. Maintenance won’t answer phone calls. Sharee, the manager raised rent to spruce up the complex. Sadly, we never saw improvements. Weeds growing everywhere, dog park was rarely mowed, cobwebs in breezeways, etc. Also, you won’t get a deposit back, no matter how clean you leave apt. There will be an excuse for them to keep deposit. Save your money and look somewhere else.

Summer Chase is OUTSTANDING! New management, including maintenance have been wonderful. My daughter’s first apartment experience.... perfect location/setting, quiet and safe. CLEAN property. I visit and feel at home here. The floor plan is great.... PLENTY of storage space too- apt. VERY spacious!!!! Surrounded by trees it feels tranquil, but a 5 minute drive to everything. I recommend Summer Chase

Horrible apartments, horrible management. Apartments look nothing as advertised. They will take money from you, and “corporate” is a guy named “Joel” who will call you from a blocked number and scream explicitly at you, rather than help. Not to mention “corporate’s” number will never be given to you (probably because there is no corporate). If zero stars was possible, That’s what I’d give. Had issues with them last year and am very thankful we were able to outsmart their con-man actions. Do not live here, do not let your kids live here.

They havent had a manager in months. They take forever to fix anything. People are paying up front just to move out early. Would not recommend anyone to live here.

I absolutely love it at Summer Chase. Unfortunately, theyre under new management and the rent is going up so I can no longer afford to live here. However, with the new management there have been some amazing renovations and theres more to come!They always respect your privacy, and they are always very professional yet like family at the same time! I would definitely recommend Summer Chase to those looking for a new place to live!

Nice apartments in a very quiet setting. Management is super nice and very helpful. The apartments are very clean and kept well.

We moved from Colorado March 2018 and did everything via telephone and email as far as putting the deposit down and paying first months rent. It was the easiest non time consuming process especially while experiencing the stress of moving! We are approaching a year of living at Summer chase and it has been nothing short of amazing. The only thing I do have complaints about is upon moving into the apartment, maintenance left paint cans, and brushes. Also, a fan was left in one of the spare bedrooms disassembled. HOWEVER, management AND maintenance has both changed and they have been a breath of fresh air to the property. Many upgrades have been done; such as new playground equipment and a new bark park! Renovations to the property in general just to give it a more at home feel! Jennifer, the property manager is very down to earth and has excellent customer service. She hosts many get-togethers with the residents, which is an awesome way to meet your neighbors! Definitely a fun, safe neighborhood for children as well! Also, the property is in a prime location- 5 minutes to Target, TJ MAXX, Kroger, and the Johnson City Mall.If youre planning on relocating, moving to the area, or changing your scenery, I definitely recommend! :)

Angee is five stars. Friendly, professional and knowledge. Apts need work and are expensive for no updates. Angee was so helpful. She has her hands full but she is optimistic and hard working.

Summer Chase is a very professional updated property! The management at Summer Chase is awesome! When I moved in management went over and beyond to make sure my family was taking care of, after we was settled in we was still checked on. Apartment is updated and clean, out side is updated and clean. Summer Chase has a basketball court, pool, dog park and, playground for childen. Every teanant I met during my move introduced them self and offer to help!

Its a average place to live and the maintaince of the apts.is extremely poor. Lived for two and half years(moved in June 18), never got the inside painted or carpet cleaned. Had to complain several times to get rest room and toilet repairs done. They do not have much staff at hand with 90 apts, there is only one handyman.Moreover management never returns the security!! After experiencing living at other place one realize that summer chase needs some drastic improvement.
