I am trying to move here soon close to everything in town in the middle of everything! Older but nice buildings, lowest price on apartments anywhere in Johnson city!
For the price is this a good apartment complex. I live now for 1 year in this area and had never an issue. The maintenance is good, but he has a lot to do.
When I move they charged me 800$ theyre not getting any response why they charge
Great location close to major name stores, restaurants of all ethnicities, hospitals, and colleges . The majestic mountain views no matter what direction you drive are breathtaking, apartments and townhomes very clean and maintained not to mention spacious. You have either a deck, patio, or balcony with a covered entryway with bonus locked storage area. My townhouse has a wood burning fireplace, built in bookshelves, wooden blinds and a big deck just to name a few perks. The tenants are all different nationalities elderly, young, working, retired or are students. Management are kind with either a wave, smile or even a story or two to tell. If there is any problem maintence will have it repaired within 24 hrs. Overall a great place to live for little money but expensive with charm and southern hospitality
Its alright. Its affordable.
It seemed like a nice place and all, until we went to move out. They kept the entire security deposit with no record of where the money was spent. 3 months after moving out, we received notice that a $900 charge had been sent to collections. A charge for which we never received a bill. When asked, they said “we put the bill in your mail box”....the mailbox at the apartment....that we had already moved out of. Genius, huh? Oh, and they won’t tell us where the $900 was spent either. Still fighting that at this time and it’s keeping us from getting a new place. It’s not a bad place to live, but be prepared to fight your way out. Bunch of cons.
BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN JC!!! Awesome owners & staff...Missy rocks!
We love living at Fox Glen! After reading the Google reviews I was nervous as we were coming from another state, sight unseen. It was the best decision to move here, and Im highly disappointed at the reviews. Ive seen no signs of racial indifference. The staff and tenants are very diverse. Honestly its been a cultural Haven.Missy, the office manager has not only been super friendly, but very timely and helpful. The maintenance of the grounds has been exceptional. Lawn care, pest control, the maintenance workers stay on top of things that need to be done. Weve seen them pressure washing the outside of buildings, trimming the trees. When weve had sensitive problems they were taken care of as soon as they could be addressed.Ive rented apartments in different parts of the country and this is by far the best. No they are not luxury but we are not paying for luxury. Honestly I feel we get more then what we pay for. Pretty safe community, quiet, clean pool, small gym, laundry facility, some units have laundry hook ups, small playground, fun quirky layout, timely maintenance and responsive management.I would suggest that if you are looking to move here dont wait until the last minute to look. Seems like the units stay full. Weve met/ spoken with many neighbors and no one has had anything bad to say.The one thing that would provide more ease in living here are some ramps to sidewalks to help if youre using a cart or wagon to help get groceries from point A to point B. They do have some access for handicap individuals, but it could use some reconsideration if they wanted to provide greater opportunities for people who use wheel chairs, scooters and walkers.
I was ready to spend a hundred extra dollars a month just to get a townhouse here, but appearantly there’s nothing available to me. Or until December. Not like I have 12 months of rent to spare or anything. But whatever. I’ll get a nice place downtown and forget this place. Appreciate not returning my emails and calls though. Great business model.
I’ve lived here with my boyfriend for over a year, and there have been little to no problems. The staff is polite, the apartments are clean, and the pool is amazing. It’s definitely a steal for the price
I have lived here on two separate occasions. The first time was in college and I loved it, it was the perfect location to ETSU and all the attractions in town! The second time was years later after college with my husband and two children, it is honestly the perfect fit for anyone. I never felt out of place as a college student or living here with my family. It’s clean and comfortable and by far the most affordable apartment for this desirable location in Johnson City.
This place has been a life saver! Most value in all of Johnson City! Location couldnt be better. Most destinations in JC are no more than ten minutes away in any direction from Fox Glen. Whether you are an ETSU student or a family of four, these townhouses will sure have a housing option that appeals to your taste. Some units are more updated than others, so inquire about updated spaces if cosmetic looks are important to you. The complex has made some nice renovations in the past few months. When household appliances or other fixtures are not working properly (if you happen to experience an issue), the maintenance workers do a good job to fix within a timely manner. I have had ants once. And wasps get a little concerning during summertime. But maintenance comes to spray and gets rid of the pests for the most part. I have never had bedbugs or any serious pests problems. My neighbors are great. In fact, my whole building is rented out to good people. I have no issues with noise, parking, or any tenants around me. Again, Fox Glen has been a life saver for me - affordable, convenient, and comfortable. I am very grateful for this complex.
I lived here for 2 years and couldnt have asked for a better landlord and community to be with. Great location and great monthly prices for the size and setup of the apartments. The landlords and maintenance crew will bend over backwards for you and are there for you to make sure you are comfortable and super friendly. Just a few minutes from downtown as well as it is a very nice and quiet area. Only cons I can think of is some of the cabinets and doors have some wear and tear and need to be updated and the one bedrooms do not have washer/dryer hookups. If something needs replaced, it will be checked out immediately. However, I will say this. I also had an issue with bed bugs. Exterminators came in and eradicted problem. After reading the other reviews, Im not quite sure it was my fault or not... judge at your own risk, but besides that I did enjoy living here.
I have lived here for two years and just signed a lease for another. I love living here! The front office and maintenance employees really care about you. I have had trouble with neighbors and it was quickly resolved. It is in a great location, only 5 mins to ETSU and pretty much anywhere else in Johnson City. Im not sure about why there are reviews about bed bugs, Like I said Ive been here for two years and never had a problem with bugs. My dog and I love being part of this friendly, safe community!
Told me they would not allow 2 pets even with the emotional support animal paperwork. I WILL ABSOLUTELY be suing this apartment complex.“The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) states that disabled persons may live in accommodation with their service animals, even where pets are not usually allowed.”
I see a lot of reviews complaining about bedbugs; I have not ran into any myself. There was an issue with wasps in our wall but I called them and they resolved the issue very swiftly. If you have a problem with bedbugs, notify the front office and they will gladly take care of it for you. These places were built in the 70s and are the cheapest places I’ve found in all the Tri-Cities and they’ve been very friendly to me. Floors are a bit thin, so you can hear everything your upstairs neighbors are doing, but what do you really expect? These aren’t super-high-end apartments, they’re a place to live though. You get what you pay for and if you’re happy with getting bang-for-your-buck this place is very satisfactory.
Terrible, awful place—and the management company is even worse! They had to let me out of my renewed lease bc of their incompetence and refusal to fix real health hazards in my own unit! I’m not kidding — they took me to court and the judge agreed. They lie, cheat, and, in the end, sued me to pay for problems THEY caused. Also, kiss your deposit goodbye. These people put on a good front, but they’re crooks and cons through and through.
I been living there for more than a year. Not bad for a college student!
Having no credit score due to not needing credit, having lived in the same house for 10 years isnt good enough, wondering how many 100 dollar application fees they get to keep
Great customer service!
Who can tell me the resident of apartment R108. Whoever’s there showed up on my credit report. Mind you I’ve never been to TN
Worst apartment complex EVER. If I could give a Negative star rating I would. NEVER live here, they will charge you for no reason, and BED BUGS in so many apartments. I wouldnt wish this place on anyone. Save yourself a lot of stress and fighting, and dont ever live here.
BED BUGS!!!! Worst year of my life living here!!
Can you hold it for me
