JCF Fitness is my stress free workout ritual. This program is an all body workout which incorporates weights and body weight . I love this program because JCF plans all the workouts for me. Since gyms opened back up in my area, I’ve made an effort to get to the gym most days and watched what I ate. However, without a tangible goal, I became laxed in how hard I pushed my training, and my nutrition was not as strict as it should have been recently. Daris put together a nutrition plan, and training schedule tailored to my goals. He reignited the fire within me to become more focused and motivated. I can’t thank him enough for helping me get back on track.
I love JCF Bootcamp! Ive been working out here for about a year now and the trainers always make an effort to keep the workouts fresh and spicy. As someone who has been to large range of workout classes, these are hands down the hardest and most rewarding. Since coming here I have lost weight, adopted healthy eating habits, and just overall feel better about myself. The team comradery and check-ins from coaches is probably the best aspect of JCF Bootcamp and keeps me motivated.Daris and Leah have done an excellent job of switching the Team to virtual workouts. The workouts are just as challenging as they were in person and I have still have been meeting my fitness goals during COVID. The integration of fitness apps has also been great as it keeps the team connected. I cant wait to see what the next year has in store!
If youre looking for a comfortable, welcoming class to get fit and learn about health & fitness jcf is for you! My experience has been nothing short of amazing. The trainers are very knowledgeable and make sure you have your perfect form before anything. This is not like a regular gym its more of a family & community. I joined a 6 week challenge that i lost 15 lbs, gained muscle but also got a mind set of a fit person and knowledge of a healthy lifestyle. I can overall say this place is great and I decided to join because I know I will not get these kind of results & guidance anywhere else.
While I have never considered, and still do not consider, myself athletic, I am by far the healthiest--physically, mentally, and emotionally--I have ever been. I owe this state of being to JCF Health and Fitness. My ever-fluctuating life circumstances have kept me an on-again/off-again member over the years (Im now on again), but because of my time with JCF, I have: quit smoking, reduced my drinking, run several races (including two half marathons), improved my diet, and improved my sleep. I now believe that my body can do more than what my mind thinks it can do. More importantly, I have the type of self confidence I always lacked as a shy and anxious kid in gym class. I have come so far that during a momentary lapse of sanity, I signed up for the upcoming City Challenge race--a 5K course with obstacles. This is the kind of thing I would have NEVER thought Id ever do in my life, but do it I will. And though I know I will not complete the course with the grace and athleticism of an Olympian, at least I know Ill complete the course with the support, camaraderie, and sisterhood/brotherhood of my JCF Fit Crew.Joining JCF has been one of the best things Ive ever done for myself. I am grateful for the concern, knowledge, and faith of the talented coaches (all of who know our names, strengths, and areas for improvement), the always varied and challenging (but fun!) sessions, and the enthusiasm and high-fiving support of my fellow campers.I recommend JCF to anyone looking for something beyond a room with weights and machines--JCF offers a lifestyle and a mindset that builds ones confidence, esteem, and overall body health. Who wouldnt want that?
I started JCF in July of 2016 and I have never regretted it. It is such an amazing environment full of diverse people of all different fitness levels. The coaches push you to be the best you that you can be. The crew pushes you even harder and you see results instantly if you put the work into it! I love JCF! It has become my lifestyle!
Jcf is awesome, great coaches who cares about your progress and wants you to get results. Not just another gym membership you are challenged and motivated to go work out with an awesome group of people.

The coaches are great at motivating you, keeping you on track with your goals and making you feel like you have the support you need to push for your better body. I am so glad I found JCF! It is so much more than a gym/fitness program/nutrition program. I like that every single day is different - the trainers provide you will all of the tools and you just need to show up. This place isnt a drop-in type of place - most people are regulars and it really fosters an amazing and supportive community where you can expect high fives and where you know the names of the people around you. I have gotten very toned and feel stronger than Ive ever felt - physically and mentally. I have transformed my eating habits and have made a lot of friends in the process! I recommend this place 100%!
I have always liked working out and taking classes, but one thing I was never able to do was change my eating habits. I have seen my friends get healthy and totally change their lifestyles. Theyve changed their training and eating habits and I used to applaud them but thought, I love to eat and never want to be on a diet for the rest of my life. A few years back I got into a slump and stopped exercising altogether and gained a lot of weight. In January of this year I saw a Facebook video about a Rock My Skinny Jeans Challenge... it wasnt the first time Id seen it but for some reason on this particular day it was like this person in the video was challenging me to fit into those jeans that have been in the back of my closet for forever. So I quickly signed up for the challenge before I lost my nerve and let me tell you it was the best decision of my life... I won the challenge!!! It was a wonderful feeling and I decided I wanted to continue working on myself and becoming a better version of myself.JCF is everything wonderful wrapped up in one. It has awesome coaches that truly care about you and want you to succeed. The campers are constantly cheering for each other and motivating each other. And the best part which most gyms do not provide is having a nutrition coach to guide you towards a healthy enjoyable lifestyle. JCF has thought of everything. It is a lot of hard work, but it can be done. Im proof of that. Im so glad to be part of the JCF family.

JCF is by far the BEST! I have done every program, weight loss, joined every gym and hired tons of personal trainers. Nothing compares to JCF. I joined during the most recent challenge and not only lost inches but also lost bad habits and gained so much more. The community, experience, camaraderie is like no other. They have a saying leave your ego at the door and it is so true. There is no judgement or egos. And the support you get from the coaches and other campers is more than I got from a personal trainer. I have extended my membership because I am a lifer. I cant imagine my day/week/life without JCF.
Being with JCF has been an amazing experience. From my rough experiences trying to maintain a healthier lifestyle in the past decade, of course, I was skeptical. After seeing a social media add about one of their 28-day programs, I read everything and inquired. Once on the phone with the founder planning on being a part of this whole challenge, I was most definitely nervous after I made my decision that I would jump into this new lifestyle. Throughout my whole history of trying to maintain an healthy lifestyle, most of my challenges have come from anxiety and intimidation in gyms along with keeping routine. Although I was nervous about starting and making this giant step to a whole new program, I was welcomed by a supportive coaching staff and fellow campers.What made it even more great is the team aspect of it, where the coaches and group of campers that cheer and encourage each other.The coaches and the rest of the team are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to getting and maintaining strength, endurance and a healthy lifestyle as well as advocating safety during all of the workouts and modified the exercises (which I do need to partake in because of my knees). Even though I have only been with JCF since the end of October, I have never felt better about how much I have achieved! Ive been able to maintain a real sweet nutrition as well as an exercising routine, been gaining strength and going to our sessions has lessens much of my stress to either begin or end my day. If you want to have a better body, better life, this is the place for you!
JCF is a 360 degree workout program. The instructors are knowledgeable and very encouraging. Its the ultimate workout environment for both beginners and experienced individuals.
Last week, I have completed my 6 weeks challenge at JCF (Jersey City Fitness) and I love this place (Better Body Better Life). I was looking for something extra challenging like fitness classes, HIIT workout to transform my body and shed those extra calories. This place is exactly what I wanted with unlimited classes, high intensity workouts and great mix of motivated trainers. One JCF session a day is good enough for cardio as well as strength training (overall a complete body workout). The coaches are really well trained and push you to till the last minute of your session. I have lost 10 lbs in 6 weeks and have enrolled for a one year commitment today. (All Day Every Day- JCF Mantra)
You wont know until you try. I wouldnt call it a gym because its a family. Coaches always push you and train you correctly. Best work out youll ever have!
Anyone not all for JCF will be put down. Criticism is discouraged. FB posts are regulated. Some trainers are not certified which can cause serious problems.There is no actual facility, it is in Grace Church (which has no ventilation) or outside. Very disorganized with scheduling. For nearly a decade in service, there is no steady staff or facility. Insurance and certification is questionable, at best.They turn hurtful when you are not all in or have suggestions. Contests are at the behest of the owner, not rules. Trainers disappear without notice. Photos of members are used for promotional materials without notice.
JCF boot camp is the best in jersey city on sooo many levels!!! all 3 trainers are awesome and they pay attention to every one of us even when you dont even know it. both women trainers are so on point in the method that they train it makes you push harder! something different every time you go and the music is great every day :) the boot camp is challenging everyday and your body will change for the better!!!
I am so happy that a friend recommended JCF to me when I was looking for some motivation to get back into fitness. It is a great community of people to workout with and the coaches are always pushing me to do my best!
Ever feel like you are unhappy with yourweight and regardless of what you think is the right way to eat, still doesnt positively affect your scales numbers? My weight was an issue and I wasnt feeling confident any longer & to top all that I had an upcoming girls trip that I wasnt looking forward to being in a bathing suit for. I found JCF and they help me find myself again. Before a shoulder injury and surgery, I was an avid gym goer. Physical therapy took a toll and I was afraid to re-injure myself, so I stopped going to the gym for almost 3yrs. I enrolled in JCFs 6wk challenge on April 11th and it was done right before my trip for July 1st. I sat with the coaches to strategize a plan that suited me realistically and log in my weight, BMI, body fat & muscle. In each workout they pushed me to exceed my goals. They gave me a meal plan as well as a ton of motivation. Even the members were welcoming. It wasnt easy, but I was definitely ready and my body proved that! With their help, in those 6wks I lost a total of 6.3% body fat and as an added bonus I gained just about 4% of muscle! So I won my challenge and needless to say felt great wearing my bathing suit!!
JCF Bootcamp has had the most amazing and positive impact on my life. I started at JCF a couple of years ago after leaving my previous gym. I was nervous about starting a whole new program, but immediately was welcomed with open arms by the most supportive coaching staff and fellow campers. After just a couple of sessions, I felt motivated and became addicted! The coaches and owner are incredibly knowledgable when it comes to getting and maintaining strength, endurance and a healthy lifestyle! I continued going to JCF throughout my entire pregnancy (39 weeks!), the coaches were incredibly passionate about keeping me strong and safe during all of the workouts and modified the exercises when necessary. I have never felt better about myself! I am now 6 months postpartum and continuing to train at JCF. This is not just a bootcamp, it is an entire lifestyle that truly strengthens your body and your mind.
