Reason behind me giving a 2 star review is i went there expecting a hair cut and beard trim and I got a hair trim and a message with no beard trim. The girls there are very nice and they all seem to have good people skills. They just need to work on cutting a wider variety of hair styles. And a beard trimming would be nice for as much as I paid for my hair cut.

I’m not a diva when it comes to my hair. I’m just a dude who wants his hair to be shorter than when he walked in. They do an adequate job of cutting hair, certainly some better than others. But their wait times of late are beyond insane. 3 hour wait at 10am on a Wednesday? On top of that, once you check in with the app, your estimated start time isn’t live. Last I tried, I signed in via the app, arrived at the estimated time only to see on the status screen I had another 45 minutes to wait but the app didn’t reflect the extra 45 min wait.

Ok I am extremely picky but this place has earned my business. After going the other day for the second time, I had a great experience with their VIP cut. Massage, hot towel, and a complimentary beard conditioner called Bio Fuel. I was actually shocked when I realized how soft it made my beard that I bought some and my wife loves it. Smells of sandalwood. Its hard to get a haircut in Jefferson City these days with the labor shortage so if you have to wait somewhere then SportsClips is worth the wait.

Boyfriend got an amazing haircut here. Scheduled online. Had a wait list but knew when to be there and all went great.

1.5 hour wait on the food 25 min wait for a drink after being seated, I had been in the past and it was great but will not be back

I have been a customer at the Jefferson City Sport Clips for years. I always had a good experience until the past few months. It seems that a good long time customer can no longer walk-in to get a haircut in a timely manner. I walked in today with two cars in the parking lot and two customers inside when I tried to check in I was told it would be a two and a half hour wait No Thanks ! I know Sport Clips would prefer online check ins but I don’t have a smartphone or the time to wait. Really feel that may business is of no concern to them!

As a chain salon theyre top notch. Can get pricey but you get what you pay for. Be vocal on what you want, the stylists there do a great job in listening and execution. Theyre also very informative on how to properly take care of your hair.

Try to shop local, but Charley does such a great job and is so friendly I will come see her till she leaves.

AGAIN! Horrible service. If I check in In-store Im told those checking in online come first. If I check in online I arrive and am told in-store customers first. 4th time this happened, waiting 1-3 hours. Employees not considerate at all. Im done.

I have been taking my 2 year old son here since he was 9 months old. Stylists are friendly and patient when he acts up. Shop is clean.

The best place to get your hair cut

First and last time at Sport Clips. Amber Evans was SUPER pushy entire time. Told her my haircut, laughs and says thats not a good look for me. Told her which way I part it, oh your hair wants to go the other way. I like a hard line on the part, barely visible. I only want a trim on top, wife doesnt like it very short... 2 inches gone. Then she busts out a Hitachi magic wand for the “shoulder massage” that she didn’t even ask if I wanted to pay for. I was just waiting for her to sell me a used car. Even tried to sell me a face mask. Barf.

There is no quality with this Sports Clips. Save your money and go somewhere else. Ive had nothing but terrible experiences and haircuts from them. I will NEVER go back.

The girl that did my daughters hair was so nice and sweet to my daughter. She got a simple Bob and a wash. Madison was so excited. The cut looks great for school pics. Thank you.

My friend recently suggest Sports Clips for my hair needs. Well my friend was right! I enjoyed the free MVP treatment I received on my first visit. The hair cut came out great, the shampooing was amazing, then you get a message. You come out feeling refreshed and relaxed. I would highly recommend. My apologies to the barbershop that I found when I moved here... Im moving on.

Always an awesome experience. All the stylists are nice and willing to work with you to get the hair style you want. Ive never had a bad experience here. I would recommend checking wait times online and getting a place in line during peak hours. Great place and great staff!

This is my go to place as it is close to my home. I can honestly say, except for a stray hair, I have always had very sharp haircuts here. They even do fairly well with boys despite it not being their core demographic. I miss their frequent customer cards and despite reassurances Ive yet to have another free cut with the new computer system. The store is clean, the staff usually seems a bit overworked, but overall friendly. I really like that they have toned down on selling haircare and toiletry items. While they offer more than ever, I hate the depressed response when I say not. Similar to turning down a server for expensive cocktails and desserts. If you have a problem with your do, be sure and ask and they will often find a solution for you. My only real complaint is that I try to be loyal to stylists, but the turnover here seems high.

Staff was nice. Checking in is odd. Its done on a computer by none other than YOU! No one greets you when you walk in the door. I guess this is nice once you know about it, but its different than usual. The haircut was decent, but very pricey!

This past weeks haircut at our local Sport Clips was the first time since about 1985 that anyone besides my wife has cut my hair. It was a great experience! After the shampoo, the scalp massage, the steamed towel... I was wondering if I was going to be able to afford all the attention. After 30 years away from the game, I had no idea what haircuts cost these days. I was completely surprised by the reasonable price! That evening my wife looked over the results and commented, You need to do this more often.

Sara is the person that my wife has said That looks nice when I get home. If she notices and likes it, thats who I want to cut my hair! (Plus she is a good conversationalist and detail conscious.)

I have been getting my hair cut there for several years now and they have never messed it up. I would say that some of the prices are getting a little high. I would recommend Erica if you plan on stopping in to get your hair cut, she does a great job with a fade.

No one ever answers the phone when I try calling and the wait is absolutely ridiculous.

My little 2 year olds sister had not had a nap. So she was mad and this lady gave my family the stink eye the whole time for one hour. It is now 10 minutes past when my brother was supposed to get his hair cut. So they take to get his cape on. The lady yells “ NO STOP HER” at my mom my sister was ripping off a floor decal. So mom said “My son does not need a hair cut” And my mom looked at the lady and said “You made it VERY clear so we left. O and we got hair cut so fast and my sister stayed it the car with my grandma and was invited in after my mom said how crazy and “ bad” she was so just be nice. The ladies here listen to what you want and deliver a satisfying haircut. I am an introvert so I dont really like socializing but come here and talk to the lady fulfills my social need for a month. I like their system so you can register online so you dont have ti wait for too long

Terrible experiences in the past, over 5 years since my last visit. Today, I HAD to get a haircut for work and S.C.s was my only option. Amanda (filling in from the KC location) made sure I got the exact haircut I needed, courteous, professional and didnt pressure me to buy shampoo! A total pro, keep rocking it Amanda from KC!

Well, first time I showed up, I waited an hour and 10 minutes come to find out the lady I scheduled for a haircut wasn’t even there. The next time, IT HAPPENED AGAIN. So, it’s okay. I got the haircut, went home, looked in the mirror... the top left side of my head was cut, the other side? Not cut and is over twice the length. I had to physically cut it myself and for that, will never ever be back again. Let alone the fact that they made me get a “premium” cut for 5 bucks extra.

I went here and Betty completely screwed up my hair cut, she is very bad at cutting hair, can not fade or line up, she only spent about 30 seconds on the cut and pushed my lining back, I want to give zero stars but that’s not a option

Coming from The State of California where barber shops take PRIDE in their work and have lots of SKILLS, I feel like its over price for the crappy work. The only two good barbers are gone and now I gotta find another barber shop. Keep your WORKERS with SKILLS. Tappers and fades are sportS haircuts, NOT BOWL CUTS.

Staff is always friendly. Never much of a wait regardless of how many customers are in the store. Today I had the pleasure of Katlyn cutting my hair and she was great!
