Honestly if I could rate it 0* I would. Recently they came to inspect my service. Turns out my broken modem was getting me better internet than I was supposed to. Needless to say I wasnt having any issues for quite some time. After they reset my modem I have had at least 4+ instances of no internet access within the last couple of weeks. All ranging from a few mins to several hours. This is after they tried selling me a new modem for a $100+ with a measly -10$ trade in of my old one.

Seems like they have trouble frequently with the internet. Should have better equipment. The internet has been off since last night. Maybe CSI Cable should either get someone in there that knows how to run the equipment. Or reduce the amount of money that they charge for terrible service

I’ve had this services for quite a bit and I am not happy with it. I’m always having troubles with my Wi-Fi the Wi-Fi is always Shutting down and then coming back up throughout the day. I’ve been without Wi-Fi for a couple days I’ve been told to tech would call me To fix this problem and they never called me. Looking into switching services because now I’m getting upset.

I would highly recommend CSI if you like overpaying for your internet to go out every day at the most inopportune times. CSI definitely needs to provide service on the weekend because thats when it always goes out. If it were possible to go below one star I would.

Inconsistent internet speed. Ive had so many problems with these guys and Ive upgraded to there best speeds and equipment. Update: I havent had issues in the past few months like I used to. Gets an extra star even though I did all the leg work to get where I am 3 years in.

Started out on the wrong foot day one. I had scheduled a specific time since I had to drive from my job in Fargo to be home to have services set up. Once I noticed CSI was late, I called only to be told my time was scheduled for a few hours later. This was completely false as I had written down the date and time during the call to have services set up and I had needed it for that specific time so I would be home. They managed to squeeze me in after making it very blatant that it was my own mistake (which it wasnt). After only a few days my wifi services stopped working. I went out of town the next day thinking it would resolve. When I came back it continued to have issues. I called the 24 hour service only to be told they couldnt do anything because my name wasnt even in the system! Called the next day, info still wasnt in their system. Once I had the chance to call during regular day time hours they finally sent a tech over to fix it. The problem was my router, which according to other csi cable users was obsolete... so I was given the wrong router in the first place.

My so moved to an apartment that CSis competitor is not wired into. After being told the service would be just as good as the competitor, he has found that it is not even close. When he called to complain about the service he was told he was getting exactly what he was paying for and the problem was Microsofts server. Nobody else he talked to was having problems which says it is not a problem with Microsoft. He generally is lucky to get half the speed he is paying for. Definitely not happy with their product or service. :( We definitely would recommend anyone use their service and will switch as soon as their competitor is available unless something else changes.

Worst service ever, we switched providers thinking we could save money, nope we were wrong, when I called to hook up I told them the package we wanted for cable and Internet, I mentioned we have 5 tvs in the house she said no problem, she let us know what we needed to pay the tech when we were done which would be the first months bill and hook up charges, the tech hooked up 4 of the 5 tvs then said he had to leave and would be back to hook up the 5th, he never came back so we called then learned that if we wanted him to come back wed have to pay $40, I asked why and was told its $40 an hr to have a tech hook up a cable, then we learned the day he hooked us up we were charged $40 an hr after asking why my answer was because the tech was there for quite awhile, we were never told about the charge other wise we wouldve just had the main one hooked up as we have smart tvs in the other rooms, plus the Internet was so slow that we couldnt do anything on our pc or watch Netflix, so we disconnected and went with another provider that only charged us a activation fee, they came out and hooked everything up without any hidden charges, I wouldnt of gave these guys any stars but it wouldnt let me write a review without at least one, very poor company

They fixed my problems so I decided to fix my review. The customer service alone bumped up my review. Good job CSI EDIT: 2 years later I have decided to name CSI Cable Services the absolute worst Internet Provider. You will not get what you pay for. My advice, call to get Fiber Connection installed into your home. The other provider (for obvious reasons I’m not going to name) is just a phone call away to ask how to get things set up. CSI, if I could review you as zero I would. EDIT: March 31st, 2021. Look, any company will have struggles but finding the right employees and people passionate about it is hard and that’s what they have been building towards. Sure, they could revamp the company and try to become more modern with whats available out in the world nowadays. Even Elon Musk has internet that could give you better connection than what CSI offers. My point of all this is, considering the town it’s in it fits the description of the internet provider. If I was to compare them to other internet providers it would be a no go. Short summary, it is what it is.

Worset customer service. They give the resident of Jamestown a bad name. The internet and cable are low quality. If this business is going to survive, they will need to improve their technology and stop jacking the prices every 6 months.I think they should be reported to BBB so their rating will go down to match their service and when other customers check them they can read the real comments.

The internet is terrible half the time it does not work and sadly it is the only option available in my apartment. It is hard to do school work when the internet doesnt work a lot of the time!!

The only positive review is from a stoudt. daddy probably owns CSI. Worst cable and internet service in america. Ironically its the only service my land lord allows. Sounds like the good ole boys in jamestown got it all covered. See Ms Stoudt for details

When you go in to make a payment..there is one lady the os extremely RUDE...then when u call in tp talk to someone she pretty much yells at you saying she is the one in charge so ti u just have to deal with her.Also I have been with csi for four yr and they keep sayn dvr is coming and well take 20 bucks off your monthly bill until we get it its our fault it not up yet....still havent seen the 20 bucks a month off if I had other options for cable id drop csi.only use if u cant get cable services from daktel
