I would highly recommend this company. They called me prior to coming, sent me all the documents I needed foe peace of mind & they got it done for us. Our tree was not only near the main water lines but we also have an irrigation system & they didn’t hit either of them. They were so very careful, which was exactly what we needed. I had to have a tree removed that I did not really want to have removed. It did a fantastic job. The tree was overhanging my house the neighbors house and some power lines. They removed it professionally and quickly. It was quite an impressive feet to watch.

I had nine large oak trees that need to be removed. Five of them were planted about six feet from the house. I got a few quotes and am glad to have chosen Stacy Durance. He is very knowledgeable about all things related to trees, identification, life expectancy etc. He brought a large crew of hard-working and polite manly men (mostly veterans) as well as a lot of very expensive-looking equipment It was amazing to watch the efficiency at which they worked. They got what appeared to be most of the work done the first day. On the second day, they brought out the big crane finished tree removal and ground the six stumps that I had requested. They did a pretty good cleanup. I told them not to worry with leveling the tire tracks as I will be doing landscaping anyway. Overall, I got more than we agreed on and I highly recommend.

We just had the Durance Tree Service team remove 2 palms and trim up 2 other palm trees. The quality of their work was excellent while they cleaned up as they worked and cleared all debris left from the tree removals and trimmings. Great value for their efficient and prompt service. Very professional and courteous employees who worked together so proficiently like worker bees, all knowing their part in their job. Because of this they were completely done in just about 1 hour. I called on a Tuesday and they were able to show up three days later with many crew members. The office staff & Rachel were prompt to send me their proof of insurance policy coverage and a follow-up call from the owners son Devon who lead the team during our tree removal project. Devon is very knowledgeable of his work and in answering the questions I had regarding the tree mulch. Very professional company. I got five estimates on the work we needed done because this job involved the very difficult removal of a huge stump the prior property owner decided to leave in place (probably because it was such a pain). Durances representative was the only estimator who actually bothered to ask me what my overall plan for the backyard was, so that he could formulate his removal strategy based upon that. Everyone else basically just came in and either said that wed have to destroy our neighbors fence and pay to replace it or that they just couldnt handle that type of precise work on such a massive stump for any price. Oddly enough, it wasnt a problem for Durances guys at all. Stump is gone, neighbors fencing is fine, and the yard looks great.Definitely worth a call to these guys.

We had a tree fall in our front yard and called around for estimates. They were 2/3rds the price of anyone else. Came out within 2 hours and finished within an hour. I was shocked by how quickly and efficiently they worked and I would highly recommend them.

They were working across the street, I asked the boss for a estimate and he give me one, Started to work shortly after, the cut the limbs, chipped it all away, raked and blown all trash away. Outstanding work done, no mess to clean up. Good job guys.

Excellent Tree Service. I worked with 4-5 top tree companies from Angies List in the last 10 years and Durance is the BEST. I worked with Stacy (Owner). He answered all my calls and was on time to every appointment. His pricing was by far the fairest for a large project this summer. His staff were friendly with no attitude. I had work that I added while they were here and Stacy did it with no issues and at a fair price. This is the only tree service I will be using in the future.

Did a great job on my tree removal and trimming. Came in set up on the high lift trimmed an oak above my pool in the backyard and removed a pine in the front. They have professional equiptment that gets the job done quickly and they clean up well. All debris was removed after the job was complete!

Had two 50+ ft hickory trees removed from the front yard.Positives- Guys were friendly, worked quickly, and the estimate beat the pants off anything else I got from other services.Negatives- Destroyed a smaller shrub/tree surrounding the base of the hickory. No problem there except it was just left all mangled and broken for me to clean up.- Might have killed a smaller lime tree about 30 ft away by dragging some of the branches over it and knocking it down - well see if it lives.- The guys were tromping around in the neighbors garden all over his flowers and veggies - no clean up or leveling the soil there.- Tore up several large patches of sod in the front yard by just dropping huge pieces of tree from height. Again, no problem there but no effort was made to level all the craters or push the damaged sod back into place.- Broken sticks left all over the front yard for me to pick up.Basically the clean up consisted of picking up their gear and blowing off the street and sidewalk back into my yard. All in all, not bad but not good either. Need to be mindful of the neighbors property. They just seemed in a hurry and the clean up left a lot to be desired.

Durance Tree Service came out and gave a quote for removal and stump grinding of two large crepe myrtles and to trim a live oak. I accepted and was scheduled for November 30. Received a call on November 27 to reschedule for Saturday, December 1, which was fine. They never showed up on Saturday so I called and got an answering machine, left a message and never received a return phone call on Saturday, December 1 or even the next Monday. I did receive a message on December 12 at 8:00 in the morning saying they were in the area and could squeeze the job in today as they were in the area. Needless to say I will not do business with someone that treats customers in that manner.

Did a really good job and they were the cheapest we found. Tore the yard up a bit but thats to be expected, but did the best they could to make it presentable.Did throw their cigarette butt I the yard though.

Just had two huge oaks cut down, one live oak & one water oak and both growing directly over each side of the house. Durance was among the cheapest estimate I got and upon reading the reviews decided to go with them, and am glad i did. They had the trees down and cleaned up in under four hours. Since then, Ive had to call on them multiple times and each time theyve been very prompt and professional. Ive had several very large oak trees fall during each of the last two major hurricanes and Devin Durance was here immediately to get the trees off the house and out of the pool ... VERY large jobs, done exceptionally well. He also took the time to evaluate and educate us on other large trees in our yard. I hope I dont have to call on them again, but they will be the first I call if I need tree work!

Never used the service before; however while in traffic I witnessed a durance tree service employee operating an older red truck pulling a trailer marked Durance Tree Service and he was wearing a shirt with the logo cut off a Cadillac. The Cadillac tried several times to get away but every time the Cadillac drove around the durance tree employee would just continue to get in front of the Cadillac, get out of his truck, spit on the windshield, punch the windshield, kick the door and dented the hood. When I post the video on YouTube I will tag the link on google reviews. I hope the company holds the gentleman accountable for his actions.

They did a good job with trimming and cleaning up afterwards. Also it didnt take them long to clear away things above our carport and next to the house.It did take them a while to get to me although the weather here has been crazy and they did have a broken bucket. I do have to commend them for keeping in touch with me via email during the process and reconfirming that I still wanted them to do the job after all the delays. Mother Nature doesnt follow a schedule so I really cant blame them for that. I would use them again.

But in the case of Durrance Tree Service, I will make an exception.Not uncommonly, most companies are annoyingly arrogant in their posture toward what THEY think needs to be done, which usually weighs in the favor of their own pocket book. Its a shame most companys lack honor and humility in that regard.Durrance is an exception to that norm. I had issues with thick, water oak branches dangerously hovering over my home. The owner could have told me to cut them all down (to fatten his wallet), but instead informed me of those i could sacrifice—and those I should not. Needless to say, along with his natural prowess of the world of trees, I was deeply impressed.After the work was completed, my wife and I could scarcely see where the tree once was.
