As an Attorney whose family has resided in the suburb of Kendall south of Miami, Florida for 70+ years with access to a plethora of very qualified tax professionals, I have had every tax return since 1996 prepared by Pat Rhodes Accounting, though every bit of 400 miles north of me, and not ever considered even looking elsewhere.This is as competent, diligent, courteous, attentive and accommodating as any professional business of which I have ever been a client. For some, dealing with their tax issues can be about as inviting as root canal surgery. Yet, the staff has always made it a top priority to alleviate any stress clients may feel with its easygoing manner, and most important, by taking the time to answer any and all questions, from basic to complex, thoroughly and correctly.I learned at a relatively young age you get what you pay for, and though Pat Rhodes Accountings fees are extremely reasonable, everybody has a family member, friend or someone who can do their taxes cheaper.The few bucks you may (or may not) save initially could end up costing hundreds, thousands or even tens of thousands of dollars for anything from unclaimed deductions to improprieties (even if unintentional) on just a single year’s return.If you are (as am I) not inclined to take a strangers word for anything, much less the recommendation of a tax professional, then all you need do is make a phone call. It costs nothing and requires no commitment other than a bit of time to see if you like what you hear.
