I asked how much her services would cost. She said that it depended on the number of forms. I wish I had asked for an itemized price list of her services. When she was finished she asked if I wanted to E-file my tax return. I said yes. She asked if I wanted her to print copies to send in my Estimated taxes for the next year. I said yes. The E-file costs $30 and the Estimated Tax forms were $25. I didnt need to E-file because I didnt have a refund coming. I could have printed my own Estimated Tax Forms from the IRS site. When she says she charges for each form, she means everything she does generates a charge. Considering the time it took to E-file and print the forms, it appears she charges about $10 per minute. Take nothing for granted. Ask for a price list of every one of her services. If she wont provide one, go elsewhere.
