Before choosing Waxlabs, I took a look at their reviews to examine everyone’s experiences there. & I’m happy to say that I can join the rest of the positive reviews because my 1st time experience was amazing. I can confidently say I will go back for another visit. Taylor who took care of me definitely deserves high praise.

I believe my technicians name was Taylor and she did a great job. Not going to lie it was a Brazilian wax so it did hurt but she made it as painless as possible with some of her tricks

Complete waste of time. I booked a 3:00 appt well in advance and I arrived a few minutes late due to traffic (3:09 pm). The receptionist gave me a clipboard asked if my name was Aumani I confirmed yes and filled out the paperwork just for her to ask me to come back at 3:45 because the tech “wouldn’t have enough time to wax me” because they have a “7 minute window” that I exceeded. that makes no sense at all. I told her I only have an hour lunch break to get this done and she didn’t care. I do not recommend this place at all. The receptionist is dumb as hell and the techs are clearly lazy.

The entire staff is very professional and friendly. Crislyn is hands down the best in Jacksonville, shes knowledgeable in her what she does and the special package deals are the best. The place is always clean and well maintained, they follow the covid-19 guidelines and shows care and concern towards her clients. I will be a lifetime client

Taylor is absolutely amazing. I truly enjoyed my time with her today. She made md feel so comfortable, even with me being 37 weeks pregnant. I will never go back to being waxed with soft wax again. Hard wax is so much cleaner and way less painful. Best wax in Jax! ❤️

Extremely satisfied with their customer service. The facility was clean & they were cleaning thoroughly between clients. Receptionist was very friendly & sweet. I did have an issue with my wax, but the manager & Emily responded swiftly to make things right. Diana was also very kind & professional.

Myself and my daughter went to have Brazilian waxes done at the waxlab January 30th. When the tech applied the wax it was so hottt I told her and she said that my pores were open but thats was not true because it was too hot from start to finish my daughter experienced the same thing. A few days later i called and spoke to Meghan she said she was going to call me back with the manager but they didnt so I called back and she told me i could come in and have the same tech named Taylor to recheck myself and my daughter because we were having alot irritation. But i thought about it and I just canceled our appointments for February. I am definitely not looking for a freebie but why have the same tech checking us that caused the issue. And they have no care about us a clients. But its all good because I will never go back there again . We know wax has to be a certain temp but not so hot to burn youre cat up. So unprofessional and unreasonable.

I never take the time to leave reviews but Wax Lab rocked my socks off from start to finish! From the moment I called and placed my appointment; Emily went above and beyond to accommodate my crazy schedule. and she even gave me tips to make my first wax more bearable. Walking in I was extremely nervous!, but Sarah was so warm and patient with me, and it went way better (and faster) than I ever imagined because of her awesome personality and skill! I’m so happy that I tried waxing and will continue to come here.

So disappointed with how they handled COVID. Used to really appreciate their courtesy, however they cancelled my appointment 3 hours before the appointment I had scheduled for a month. No compensation or anything, even though we have to cancel 24 hours before or WE are charged. When I expressed my disappointment, they just tried to shut me up and offer no reparation. Long time customer who will never go back!

Wax Lab blew me away.. as a avid European Wax customer for ~5 years straight.. when I went to Wax Lab I was so happy that all of the employers were warm and approachable. Sarah and crystalyn are my go to girls. Erica is amazing and great at what she does too! All around great place and great prices.

I had my first wax job done here and It went very well. The lady was very nice and knowledgeable. It really did not hurt as much as I expected it to, plus I loved how the lady talked to me a lot and it helped distract me. The aftermath was amazing and long lasting. I will defiantly be coming here.

I am amazed with the experience I had today, I had a bad experience at a previous place in the area where they rushed the wax and caused a lot of pain, missed a lot of hair and just wasn’t very friendly. Diana was amazing she was very kind and very thorough! I can’t stress that enough when you’re in such a vulnerable position you can feel very awkward but she made me feel comfortable and the experience was just the best I will definitely be coming back !

This place is amazing!! I went for my first wax with Sarah and I cannot say enough good things about her. She dealt really well with my terrible anxiety and provided a safe and comfortable vibe for me during my appointments. The receptionists were always very kind and comforting. I have now had 2 appointments at Waxlab, and both occasions were without question the best waxing services Ive ever received. The facility is like a Swiss clinic in both its style and cleanliness. The owner is on-site and obviously oversees every detail and trains her staff to be just as attentive. Reception and appointment bookings are handled in a hospitality-level manner by a very professional young woman neatly dressed in surgical scrubs. A nice touch. My waxing services have been performed with great professionalism and unusual attention to detail by the owner herself. She clearly has perfected her technique - though I opted out of the free numbing cream which was offered, the hair removal session was the least painful in my experience. While I have no connection or interest in Waxlab, I really cannot say enough how impressed I was by this new studio. When a business is run in a truly exceptional manner I like to take the time to recognize their efforts. While selfishly Id like to keep them a secret so that Ill always be able to get in any time, I understand they need new clients to grow and prosper. Anyone in need of their services should not hesitate to make an appointment. You will not be disappointed!

Stephanie did a fantastic job! I’ve had waxes that hurt a lot in the past and she was quick and pretty painless. She also helped me find some exfoliating products that would work for my skin. The front desk was very nice and welcoming and the facility was very clean. Definitely would come back.

The place is cute and the staff is nice. However, I don’t feel they get the hair from the root. I’ve waxed before and the growth I have after a week is almost like I shaved and not waxed unfortunately.

The place is definitely friendly beautiful customer service was great but unfortunately the wax it was horrible it look like I shaved it start bumping up like five days later itching ....Hmm

When booking my service, the receptionist asked if I wanted numbing cream prior to getting waxed. She expressed this to me as if this would be a complimentary service, so I said yes. Little did I know that theyd end up charging me $25 for a one ounce bottle of cream that retails for much less. They did not make any efforts to fix this issue and the owner did not to speak to me directly and kept communicating through her receptionist. The receptionist did not tell me that the owner would not remove the charge prior to my wax, and this came as a surprise when I was paying. I never leave reviews for even a less than mediocre service but I was so surprised that they would compromise their customer service to salvage a few bucks. Disappointed.

Got my first Brazilian wax with Sarah. She was awesome! I was skeptical going in, but it was much better then I expected. Sarah made me feel very comfortable and before I knew it I was finished. The front desk girl was also very friendly. I already booked my next appointment 😀.

My wife came in today for a wax but was not advised there would be an additional charge of over $25 for a TINY LITTLE BOTTLE OF NUMBING CREAM!! RIDICULOUS! They never cared to remedy the issue at all. Really bad customer service. I will take my business elsewhere.

About 6 mos ago I left a review with not so many stars and I have to say I made a big mistake confusing Wax Lab with another busines . Diana is lovely, shes professional and makes you feel comfortable (as can be lol) while receiving services, staff is really nice. I apologize for the mistake it was a great visit!

I went in today due to a Groupon I found, I have never been anywhere else for Brazilian waxes other than Brazil’s and I won’t ever make that mistake again. My experience was not worth the few bucks I saved. The cleanliness, and procedures are so different and out of date. I’m used to Brazil’s, using fresh blocks of wax for each service. Not using the same wax out of the warmer each time. Diana was not bad at all but should search for employment elsewhere, they were not terrible but there process is not what I am used to. I will not be back.

Had my very thick and full eyebrows MASSACRED here when all I asked them was clean them up and more arch definition. I have had beautifully shaped hollywood brows before in my life, I know its possible. What I got at this waxing butcher shop- literally geometric triangle shaped eyebrows. What?! I wanted to cry when the tech first handed me the mirror. I asked the tech to please fix them and make them more rounded, you know, like a normal eyebrow. What I ended up with are literally two half circle arches for eyebrows.They look HORRIBLE- so much for having my engagement pictures taken this weekend. I look like an idiot. The tech needs to be fired or completely retrained. Not to mention the wax was SO hot Im surprised I dont have blisters, although there are definitely some burns. Avoid this place at ALL costs. You can ruin your own eyebrows and burn your face for free at home.

The employees huddle and giggle after they finish services. I went for a Brazilian Wax which is a very intimate appointment. The employee also went over the same areas numerous times and I went to Brazils on St Johns Bluff and I didnt have these issues. They are affordable but you get what you pay for :)

I love Waxlab. Its by far the best waxing facility Ive been to. I love that they take appointments, no more sitting around waiting to be waxed. Their prices are very reasonable and they have a referral program. They also offer some great products, I personally like the exfoliating scrub and the tend skin ingrown hair treatment. I had never been waxed with hard wax until I started going to Waxlab, and let me tell you; Id never go back to soft wax again. If you want good, friendly customer service and great waxing results, definitely give this place a try, you wont be sorry!

Very professional. Crislyn engages in conversations to help distract from the procedure. She will walk through step by step of any part of hair removal procedures. Offers great maintenance advice. The pain is only temporary. Happy with results. I would recommend Crislyn to friends.

I went here simply for the hours in the beginning. After my first Brazilian, lip and eye brow treatment I couldnt go anywhere else! The staff is so friendly and professional. Depends on the tech you get. I got one tech twice; absolutely did not do a good job. I complained and was offered service free, but was ill and unable to come in. I found a tech I knew and liked, but she left. The way they handled that was very unprofessional: I found out at my appointment, and they offered to have the tech whod previously done a poor job take care of me - in front of her. What was I supposed to say?I will find a new salon.

Ive been waxed here 4 times. I liked the first girl, but she left. I liked the second girl, but she left too. The last girl I got just didnt seem to care about the quality what she was doing and seemed more interested in what was going on in the next room. She actually stopped one time to listen and laugh about what she was hearing in the next room while I was in a very intimate position. Not cool! She missed more hair than she got. By week 2, I looked ready for my next appt. Letting this one go on her own when she obviously isnt ready makes me question the management.

I love my wax, every 3 weeks, Brazilian with Nicole. Couldnt get any better than her attention to detail & perfection.

As a licensed cosmetologist, I have very high standards since I know the requirements they are supposed to follow. The girl I got was nice. I was extremely nervous, since this was my first Brazilian since doing it myself at home for years. She was fabulous at telling me it would hurt a bit, but not as bad as the movies make it out to be. All-in-all, not the worst experience for brazilian, even though she left hairs behind that I had to pluck once I got home.So why 1 star? Well, I also got my brows and underarms done...Long story short, I used to over-pluck my eyebrows, making the space between them way too wide. I have been growing out this part on both sides for over 6 months now. After 6 long months of growing them out, plucking to the right shape, and penciling in where needed, my brows were finally where I wanted them to be (I was getting compliments daily by strangers who liked my brows.) I was ready to just clean up around the edges to get it all pretty for my birthday over the weekend.I had guidelines set, told the girl to just clean up the edges, and even told her that I was growing them out and they just needed the perimeter done. That I loved the current shape and how they were growing. She kept plucking and plucking, and I trusted her. I was wrong in doing so.SHE MESSED ME UP. My brows are uneven, and she waxed the area I took 6 months to grow out. I am a hairstylist! My image is VERY important in my industry. Now the arch is uneven and my right eyebrows starts considerably farther over than my left. My eyebrows have not looked this bad since middle school. Coworkers noticed and asked why they were so uneven all of the sudden! Now every picture of my 25th birthday will have the crooked reminder that I chose the WRONG place to get my brows waxed.Also, she left over 15 long hairs on my left underarm, but not my right. AND it took her over an hour and a half to do just the 3 areas...Should not have taken that long, especially for the quality of work.I am so pissed. Because it took her so long, I had to rush out to go to work and did not realize just how bad it was until I got home this evening.Will not be back.

I am not one to do this but when you can actually harm a client it must be known. Been there three times prior with Adrienne, she was excellent. Adrienne left so was given someone else. She kept asking me if wax was hot and I said yea yet she continued to use it. Got burned in three spots on face and have the peeling skin to prove it. Please take what you do seriously. Thanks
