Ive been getting accutane through them and I absolutely loved the PA, Kristy. Since shes left, Ive been running into problem after problem with the staff. The dr is so nice and informative but the front desk ladies are always so rude on the phone and have such an attitude, it turns me off having to call them for help.

Great visit! I am a physician and was very please to see a young colleague practicing so well. Overall very attentive staff and throughout consult.Dr. Goyal took the time to explain everything he was doing and the steps moving forward with my treatment. I will highly recommend.

One of the best Dermatologist practices in Jacksonville! Both locations are great and the support staff, M.A’s, P.A’s and doctor are all extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and really make you feel like they care about you and genuinely want to help in anyway they can. Great place! Friendly staff and scheduling is simple! Dr. Goyal is very knowledgeable, takes the time to thoroughly explain/answer what’s needed, and makes you feel at ease. I had a small procedure done by one of his PA’s and it was a quick, good experience. I definitely recommend.

Definitely not what I expected.This place was more packed than a DMV. After a prolonged period of waiting to be called in, I get told that they will not be able to see me after all, due to my not wearing a mask, never-mind that everyone was packed like sardines, let alone practiced social distancing. They don’t care what Florida guidelines are either. But it’s alright, I’d be more than happy to take my money elsewhere.

The staff at this office is stellar. We have a new commercial insurance this year so of course most doctors offices dont think they take the insurance. But this staff took the time to call and find out that yes they do take this insurance. Most offices just take the easy way out if they dont see the plan oh well your gone bye. But this office staff checked. And Doctor Goya is amazing is is very thorough. You would be lucky to have him and his staff as your doctor.

I would not recommended this establishment to anyone! The way the employees are treated is awful, the manager should be ashamed of herself, Ive gone in with my mother multiple times and have seen the same manager with the same attitude treat her employees how ever she feels. Ive sure the doctor is unaware of this or he simply does not care about his employees either. One of the employees told us last time we were in that she was seeing her therapist twice a week due to the stress she was under. I dont see the reason for this to continue when you only have one problem in the office. FIX THE PROBLEM!

I have worked at Coastal Dermatology for almost a year now as a medical assistant and right away they made me feel at home. I’m a military spouse and my husband has been deployed the entire time I’ve been here in Florida. Dr. Goyal, Bina, Tania, Kristy, Katherine, and the entire team has taken me under their wing and made me feel like family. Dr. Goyal has taught me so much about dermatology. I’ve never worked for a doctor who has been so patient, respectful, and truly cares about their employees. He takes the time to get to know you! Dr. Goyal along with his PAs Katherine and Kristy take their time in the room with patients to listen and understand what is going on. I truly would recommend anyone to this practice as I feel like they would be in the best hands.

First fo let me start my saying the management in this establishment is awful. The office manager Bina Patel is one of the worst people I have ever met, I use to be an employee for this establishment and I was wrongfully terminated. This inconsiderate woman cuts hours and discriminates people just because she feels like it. She yells and cussed her employees out in front of patients and that is unacceptable not only for a manager but for a place of business, there has been many patients who have asked if she is a manager and to my response I say yes, this establishment has such a bad turn around it’s insane. There is no real training provided, she excepts for a person to know everything from day one, coming from a different field I had no knowledge of dermatology so I expected more but didn’t receive anything in return. The pay is awful she won’t offer what you seek and there is no chance for increase in pay. She picks and choose who are her favorites and if you don’t make the cut she will cut you out. I have seen and even heard things I wouldn’t imagine coming from a dermatology establishment. I don’t recommend working here at all!

I had a couple of skin issues that I was concerned about so I booked an appointment for an exam. I am 51 and have never been to a dermatologist so I was expecting a thorough examination. They spent about 2 minutes max looking at my 2 issues and assuring me everything is fine and then headed out of the room. This was it? According to others I have spoken to this was highly irregular for a real dermatologist. Perhaps they only do cosmetics?

I happened upon Coastal Derm & Med Spa in a random Google search when I decided that I wanted to try some procedures I had been hearing of to maintain a youthful look. I am so happy that I chose this company and the St. John’s Bluff location. Everyone in the front desk is amazing— as is everyone I have worked with on my actual procedures. Tania does my microdermabrasions and microneedling and she’s such a joy to be around. She’s always making the perfect recommendations for my budget, my progression in procedures, and sometimes she just seems to know when there’s no need to make a recommendation and let’s me bring up the topic for new or continuing procedures.. She never makes me feel like I need to do something right now. If I can’t afford something at the exact moment, she tells me all the reasons that okay and that my skin is still beautiful. They are so image and body positive at this office! It’s so refreshing and comforting. Bina is also so caring and professional. I can’t wait to do my IPL with her soon! I love how the office offers seasonal/monthly specials which gives me the ability to try the more expensive procedures for less money. They even offer Botox for cheaper once a month on Saturday. They also only offer procedures and products backed by SCIENCE with PROVEN RESULTS AND RESEARCH. It gives me full confidence in everything they offer. I just can’t say enough good things about them. Plus the skin care brand they have is life changing! You must visit!

Tania, the aesthetician is very professional and does an amazing job on the microdermabrasion and chemical peel services! She truly takes her time and cares! I highly recommend them and thank them very much for all that they do!

Initially started using for Microneedling but have had other services since. Tania is absolutely fantastic - shes warm and is such a comfort for those little insecurities we all have about our faces, she definitely has a gift! Ive been looking for a medspa to call home and am so thankful I found it.

Unprofessional and unnecessarily unpleasant behavior from staff. I arrived for my facial appointment 15 minutes late and profusely apologetic. My aesthetician said I would have to reschedule and leave a down payment for the new appointment (completely understandable). She turned around and made it clear she was done talking so I asked the receptionist if the promotional facial I booked would still be available. The receptionist waited several awkward minutes for the aesthetician to answer before she finally replied that if it expired, it expired. Just for context, the only other time I was in this office I waited over a half an hour past my consultation time. There was a full waiting room so I assumed the office was busy. Today the waiting room and parking lot were literally empty aside from a construction crew and dust. Honestly I’m ok with not having this professional work on my face.

I just turned 56 and have been very concerned about my sagging jowls and wrinkling lips for several years now. Ive thought about facial threading for quite some time, and didnt really consider it until speaking with a specialist at Coast Dermatology. They explained the entire process and made me feel very comfortable about the procedure. I had it done last Friday, I was very nervous but the staff made me feel so comfortable that I was actually able to relax. Dr. Goyal and the staff listened to what I wanted to achieve and paid close attention to what my concerns were. The results were immediate and I was amazed at how easy it was. I also had fillers in my lips that same day. I can wait to see the full results! I wouldnt trust anyone else with my face! During this pandemic they want you to text them when you in the parking lot. Well I have only been here twice and they never responded to my text. I sat in my car for 30mins. I saw several people walk in . I finally called them after my appointment time and they told me to come in. I have sat here for another 50 mins to be seen. The girl at the front desk wasnt even wearing a mask the whole time I was here. I have not had this much trouble going to other doctors during this time.

His medical assistants are all warm, friendly and caring, and the front office staff is always pleasant (both locations). The entire practice seems very well managed and efficient. The professionalism and courtesy demonstrated to me on every occasion over the last 15+ years have convinced me that Dr. Goyal and his staff truly care about the health and well-being of their patients.

I love going to this office the staff is friendly and Bina, Tania and Dr Goyal rock. They take care of me on the daily basis. You tell them what you feel you need and they take care of it. I get asked if I need anything on my way out so that I can keep my skin in check and healthy in between my visits. During Covid, I feel bad for this staff. The patients dont want to listen and just walk on in. If you a patient, please be respectful and call or text when you arrive, they are very responsive and get to you within 10 minutes of your arrival.

I absolutely love this place! I called on a Thursday as a new patient and was immediately scheduled for Monday; I was very pleased about that. After my visit one of my prescriptions was very pricey and the women here worked so hard to get me something affordable. They called me like 6 times in the last two days which made me feel very prioritized and I really appreciate it. Dr. Schweighardt sent the script to a specialty pharmacy in Clearwater to cut the cost and it will be mailed to me. I got the generic version of a 200$ medication for 40$ thanks to these ladies who are very polite and seem to really care about their patients. I have found my permanent dermatologist and couldn’t be happier about it!

Everyone at Dr. Goyals office were so helpful in making a scary situation a bit easier. They all have kind personalities and thats not always easy to find. Great doctor, great staff!

My first visit for a all over skin check. Im Irish with white skin and years of sunburn had me concerned, so it was time. Upon my visit the nurse didnt look at my left side of my body or on my head or many areas, she did inspect my private and limbs. Not giving me a thorough exam disturbed me. Next I had a acne on my lip and told she was giving me a cream, I asked for a acne cream my primary prescribed me and worked well but she hhad a better cream. She said come back in 2 weeks and if not cleared shed do surgery on it with 2 stitches. SURGERY, On my mouth area???? And 2 days before leaving on a 5 day cruise. I used $45.00 cream a few days before I looked up the name and its a FUNGAL cream. I consulted with my primary. I have no use for fungal cream on my face or anywhere on my body. My insurance and myself are due a refund. Ill reschedule with another dermatologist. I see a pattern of complaints with your answer saying I cant find you in our data base. Thats because you delete them, it seems. I have left 3 messages with no response so I not only feel neglected and taken advantage of by paying $45.00 for Fungal RX and office visit charge and insurance got charged, I feel you do not care about me. I left first message a week ago of my concerns. Totally ignored is why i want to be heard and compensated. Ill give you the FUNGAL cream for a refund reimbursement. Lastly my small bump cleared up naturally, within days.

I came in with my little sister and mother a few days ago although the service she received for her issue was resolved and the p.a was amazing and very educated, I couldnt help but notice there was no type of diversity in this office i literally only seen one black person she was very sweet and caring but she was literally alone at the front desk and I heard the phones ringing off the hooks! Just a friendly suggestion get this poor girl some help and more diversity!

I came in for the first time yesterday (st. Johns bluff location) to have my skin checked over for skin cancer. I was seen by a nurse and she was very thorough and seemed to genuinely care.I have have had precancerous melanoma cells show up in a mole once before and i am covered in moles that look questionable. I am a mother of small children I would like to feel confident when I leave the dermatologist, that they did not miss anything and i felt that after leaving coastal derm.In the past 8 years I have gone to 3 different dermatologist (all the same company) and they never took pictures or used the magnifying glass with the flashlight and told me not to worry about getting checked if its been more then 5 years since the precancerous mole. I dont see how it could hurt getting checked and documenting any change in moles once a year especially living in Florida.Also the staff was super nice, I could really just go on and on about the place 🤗

I have been going to Coastal Dermatology for many years. They staff is very pleasant. I have had many different types of procedures. I am always pleased with results of my peels with Tania and any procedure with Dr. Goyal. He always takes time to explain a procedure which puts me at ease.

Do not go to this place. They have developed a scam to make you pay your Tricare deductible even if it has been paid in full. Tricare has said they are not allowed to do this.They claim they will pay you back but since it was not even owed them the money needs to be paid back with interest as you would earn normallyI am in process of having Tricare remove themselves from this establishment as they are stealing your money

Dr. Goyal is the very best. I cannot say enough about him or his staff. First off, he is the most punctual doctor I have every had the pleasure of working with....and this is all the time. It is obvious how much he cares for and respects his patients. His work is excellent and he is always well-versed on new medical treatments. His staff are all just amazing...they are very helpful, friendly and professional. I wish all doctors and staff were as fabulous as the folks at Coastal Dermatology.

If you enjoy being treated like a human being, I suggest you find another dermatologist. I guarantee that Literally ANY other dermatologist will treat you better than this place will.

There is only Coastal when it comes to dermatology. Dr. Goyal gives the most through exam and has detected any issues that may have otherwise gone unnoticed I am beyond grateful for the care my wife and I have received. He has spotted numerous issues with my wifes skin and immediately recommended MOHS, saving the day...or more.At our age, skin concerns with the sun are a top priority. We have such confidence in Dr. Goyals proficiency. He has an extremely professional and educated staff to medical issues as well. We applaud this group and feel strongly about Coastals top rating. Could not have been happier with the staff and doctors. Usually I am not the one to write reviews but I wanted this review to help other patients. My son had started losing hair at a young age and we were devastated as he had the most dense crown in the family. We were recommended to Dr. Goyal by a family friend so we gave it a try. We could not believe that his hair was actually growing back. Within two months his hair was back. His hair stylist could not believe what she saw and asked for his doctors name. I personally did not think that hair can regrow especially in men, but the miracle happened. I wish I could post pictures of before and after but he does not want his face advertised :)
