This agency took $10 out my check every week for 5 weeks to pay for my OWN drug screen. The type of jobs and work they expect doesn’t match up with the pay. I have a family member that recently quit and they were taking 50 cent out of his check every time they cut the air conditioning on at the warehouse he was placed to. The people are not respectful and have no morals!! Go to randstad for good quality work!!!

I got hired to be at Jinko Solar, and it was one of the worse experiences! If you’re trying to make quick money I do recommend, however they will work you like dogs instead of hiring more people to help do the job that requires more than 3 people to do. The supervisors, and team lead and a few of the employees will gossip and talk about you behind your back, they will take time out of your next break if you’re late even when we don’t have to clock out for breaks AND if you take too many bathroom breaks. Late twice in the first 1-2 weeks of being new? SOL! You’re FIRED! They lie about the incentives you’re suppose to get (goal of 500-700 panels) you get $100 added to your check, but that was false. They lied about giving us a pay raise when the new year starts! I even heard that they changed their insurance because of a few complaints/lawsuits they’re getting about dumping hazardous waste in the water that’s getting into people’s foods/water supply. I’m not too sure about the accuracy of the last statement, but I wouldn’t be surprised and I’d love to have someone investigate it. Not to mention, an employee told me that someone was packaging the panels and cut himself and there was blood all over the panels, but instead of throwing them out because that’s a safety hazard, they had to clean up someone else’s bloody mess and continue down the line. They don’t care about their employees and it shows with those we still suffer being there and who couldn’t take anymore by quitting or getting fired over virtually nothing when they NEED people. If you’re not getting the intended goal, if you’re not making THEM money, then they don’t want nor care about you, nor the struggles you go through in daily life as to why you’re even at a 12HR NIGHT/DAY SHIFT AT A WAREHOUSE IN THE FIRST PLACE!

I applied to remedy staffing and was referred by a friend the next day I got a email notifying me of coming in for an interview I was very excited. I arrived early and there was lots of people outside in a line so I had to line up. Was greeted by staff very nice and informative told us exactly what to do went into a room waited for our name to be called along with signing paperwork met with another staff was asked a couple questions and told that Revlon is having a interview the same day in the afternoon to come back then I need it to wait in another side to go on a computer and have a drug test, finished all that and then I was dismissed came back the same day in the afternoon and Mr. Robert was thoroughly informative concerning description and all information about Revlon the next day I got a message saying to go into Revlon to start work. Very happy with the results and how the performance of the remedy staffing works and will recommend it. 🙂

They fill ziprecruiter with phantom job ads, Remedy sends automated on-boarding messages to apply on their website. After you fill out all the application and stuff, whatever job you were interested in is nowhere to be found. I dont know how they operate, but theyll always offer the cattle instant hire stuff (10/h outside the belt way things).

The most humiliating experience I had as a job seeker. You are made to believe that you made an appointment to be interviewed and process paperwork. My first impression of the office was disappointment and lack of dignity. The staff woman did not introduced herself, just herded people into a room and commanded instructions. I thought of the time during the Great Depression when people showed up to a workplace hopping and begging for a few hours of labor. I suffered for 20 minutes while I was waiting for the staff employee to hand and collect documents. I did not agreed with the $50 fee for the screening, so I did not signed the pay card document. Immediately, the staff woman told me it was necessary to continue the process. At this point, I got up and left the room. I have served my community as a healthcare and transportation professional for over 30 years, I did not appreciated to be treated as a beggar or an ex-con.

Easy and fast as long as you have everything you need. Took a week to get a job. They even worked with me having an out of state ID. Very pleasant people there.

They charge their employees for the pre-employment screening. They have you sign that you will pay your first $50 from your first paycheck back to them for the cost of your screening. This is not standard in the industry. The agency is supposed to absorb the cost of the screening, not pass it on to the applicant.The Staff seemed polite and professional, but there are multitudes of agencies in Jacksonville that do not charge the employee for the screening process.

This location is utter disappointment and disaster. The people here are rude and very disrespectful to those coming to seek a job. I was told I could not come in after I got here before 9:00 AM because there weren’t any chairs however people were continuously leaving and as she was telling me that she allowed another person to stand in line and come right in. DO NOT COME HERE. IT IS A JOKE AND A WASTE OF TIME.

I used this Remedy location to find employment, in which I did for sometime. However, almost a month ago my boss came to me during a few hours into my shift saying that my Time was up. I politely understood and did my final clock out. I went back up to Remedy the same day and told them what had happened and they said they were aware. They offered me a job at a place called Suddath, in which I worked before but the volume had gotten low so they sent me back to Remedy. I declined the offer and wanted to wait until something with more volume and hours came through. Later that week they told me they have this opening for some company off of Pritchard that would provide overtime. I accepted the offer and had to do a test before they sent my information out to this job. I successfully completed the test and was told to wait patiently until I got my job assignment date. Now its almost 3 weeks and still no employment. I know it doesnt take that long to find someone employment. My only way of making some money is driving Lyft day and night. I have to pay for expenses such as gas, maintenance and lunch. My patience is starting to run out.

Never have I experienced a temp agency that charges the employee for their own pre-screening process. Its absolutely absurd considering the premium they collect on labor (have worked in staffing, its really near criminal.) Charging for their own on-boarding process shows a true lack of business morality.Herd people into a room and treat them like possibly reformed criminals. They are looking for bodies, not ability. Disappointing.If youre a professional, this is not the environment for you.

Everyone in the office is very pleasant and dedicated to assisting applicants in every way. Great staff, great results!

I kinda got the impression that you wont be considered for hiring if you dont flirt with theinterviewer. I went to this location looking for work, not a dinner date. I had a hard time explaining this one to my wife.

I cant tell you how rude the women here are... If one thing doesnt go their way, either your application will get mysteriously rejected or you wont get assigned to crap! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE TRYING TO GET HIRED HERE. Dont. Just. Dont. Dont do it... Go to my ladies on the Northside on Main and get yourself an easy quick assignment. These women here are so so damn rude, I just dont understand why... Just wait, when you show up and they interview you by just staring at your paperwork and telling you yeah, everythings done, you can go. Bye. Youll see for yourself what a HORRIBLE place it is.

I was put on a job assignment at a warehouse with NO AC. I tried to deal with that, but then I had to work around people that needed to work on communicating with one another. You cant have someone new starting a job looking around at what other people are doing because they dont know what to do at all, or if theyve gotten done doing something they dont know what to do next. Taking initiative and asking questions and all that is cool, but for a persons 1st day, I would expect things to be more...professional I guess you could say. Oh, and I forgot to mention that they were moving too, and wanted regular employees as well as temps to put in an application for the company because they were going to be under another companys name too. Huh?? After my 2nd day I stopped going over there.The latest problem Im having now with this Remedy is how I am supposed to be getting paid and theres no payment in my bank account *sigh*. Bad enough to have to go through what I did at the job site, now this??? NO pay stub information at all on their third party payer site either, so now its like I did 2 days of work and theres not a record of it. Not. Cool. At. All!!!

They have favoritism and never answer the phone nor text back ! The Normandy location is horrible

This location when I call they don’t answer I called 17 times and nobody answers and when I do get a hold of somebody they tell me they don’t have any available jobs

Easy and simple to obtain work although there is often times a lack of communication amongst the company and its employers along with the occasional lack of organization. Friendly staff most days too.
