As someone who is super terrified of dentists and being anywhere without my designated safe person. They were super accommodating communicative and reassuring. They checked on me when I started showing fear and let my partner come back with me to help me stay calm while they dealt with my teeth! It was a very nice place, super clean and friendly and they were super accommodating when making future appointments! I loved all the staff that I had interactions with! I definitely will be sticking with them!

I have always been terrified of the dentist. After multiple bad experiences, I vowed I would never go again. Recently, I’ve been having some issues with my molars due to my wisdom teeth, so I knew I needed to go.THIS IS A PHENOMENAL PLACE TO GO. The reviews online aren’t lying. The staff is so cheerful and kind. You can tell they really love their jobs. And they are so GENTLE. Every person I had the pleasure of meeting was so nice and made me feel relaxed. I can honestly say this is the first dentist I’ve ever gone to where I wasn’t scared. I’m likely going to get my wisdom teeth out later this summer, and I have no qualms with going here. Great staff, efficient and great service, and wonderful atmosphere. Do not hesitate to make an appointment!

The entire team at DC of Jax has been, in my experience, second to none. Everyone — from the reception desk to the finance office, and of course the clinicians — made me feel immediately at ease and supported. Dr. Patel took so much time to alleviate any anxiety I had regarding the procedures I so desperately needed but was terrified to undergo. His bedside manner is as impeccable as his surgical prowess. I’m writing this one day following the extraction of the vast majority of my teeth, and am doing so much better than I had anticipated. For the first time in my life, I can now look forward to going to the dentist. Truly life changing.

Dr. Patel and his staff are far beyond amazing! I followed Dr. Patel from another dentist office because of his extreme and sensitive care he had provided to my anxious self! The entire staff including Dr. Patel, have a way of making sure you feel “at home!” I am a person that had stayed with my prior Dentist in Jacksonville from the time I was 18 until he retired.. I have been looking for another Dentist that was just like him.. And Dr. Patel has met all the standards that I was looking for! The office is beautiful and very well kept and VERY modern! Great staff. My appointment started on time. The dentist took his time going over everything and making sure I understood what would happen during the appointment and the follow up. The dental hygienist was thorough, considerate, and had a gentle hand. Overall my experience was pleasant. I referred a coworker there and definitely recommend it.

I’m one of those afraid of the dentist people. Scared to go in the first place! I HAVE FOUND MY DENTIST!! Dr Patel and his staff are great!! They explain everything up front and answer all questions! Dr. Patel and his staff (the hygienist’s, front desk and the finance officers) are all professional and kind. They offer sedation dentistry. Give them a chance and I bet you’ll be happy to!!!

This was my second time at this dentist. The office staff both times were pleasant and the area seemed clean and is spacious.On my first visit the dental hygienist took approximately 45 minutes total (which is about right based on my years of experience). She was thorough and had all her tools out where I could see them. Her cleaning was very comparable to my last dentist( which was great)! My second visit, I had a different hygienist. It took her all of 30 minutes total. I could not see any of her tools on the tray. It was if she was working behind my head, which was weird. Although she did okay, I felt she was rushing through each step and consequently, I didn’t feel I got a thorough cleaning.

What a great experience!! Michael and his staff are absolutely amazing. I have had past experiences that were horrible at dentist to the extent of breaking pieces of my own teeth off so I wont have to go to the dentist. I am so happy for Dental Center of Jacksonville. Today was my first time visit at the Dental Care Center and my experience was amazing! The office was clean and the staff from reception, X-ray tech, hygienist, Dentist and finance were beyond friendly and professional. Honorable mention and kudos to my hygienist Nye! She did an amazing job on cleaning my teeth!

Dr. Patel was so kind and honest. I felt he really cared about my wishes and concerns. I am going to be using and recommending him to my friends. For a first visit he took whatever time I wanted to answer all my questions. He made sure I left that I had all my questions answered and had all my questions and concerns addressed. Highly recommend after my first visit. Additionally, the staff was just a complement to his patient care.

I haven’t been able to get my teeth checked out for years because I couldn’t afford insurance but they set me up with a plan for a whole year. It saves me money and I’m covered for cleanings which is amazing. Michael set me up in the chair ASAP and made sure I was taken care of right then and there. And Christian talked me through the process of nitrous and after care. He was thorough and answered all my questions. Doctor Patel made the process quick and simple and best of all painless. From the first phone call to my latest appt, Dr. Patel & his caring team members made me feel like my health & dental concerns, were their top priorities.When you call their office, they address you by name!If I was just to go off of a first impression, Helene gave an excellent one. The first day I called to try to get an appointment, I was trying to get in last minute and I had called over 30 dental facilities in town, only to be turned away due to no availability. This was very last minute so I understood when dental center of Jacksonville wasnt able to help me either.. but after explaining what was going on, Helene was clearly empathetic to my situation and she worked it out to where I still was able to come in same day. Dr Patel and team gave me a full examination and worked out a treatment plan, and Michael was great at explaining that plan in detail, along with available financing options.Every individual I had the pleasure of interacting with was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I have an overwhelming fear of the dentist, and this is the first office Ive ever been to that didnt make me feel like a complete freak for these fears.When I say scared of the dentist, I mean crying, shaking, panicking.. excessive levels of fear. I know first hand - I am NOT an easy patient. However, Im not sure if Mary and Dr Patel are just this amazing dynamic duo, but somehow they were able to comfort me. They didnt make me feel difficult.I had a lot of work done and today is day two. I cant believe it, but I feel great. Although I did have oral sedation with nitrous, I was still terrified of being in pain.. but Mary and Dr Patel listened to me the entire time during my procedure, and I did not suffer at all.I received phone calls and follow-up texts from their office, just to make sure I was okay.I really cannot say enough about this place, they are truly amazing people! I have already told two of my friends and a couple of my co-workers about the stellar care I received from this office.So relieved and happy to have been able to find my new dentist! This Dental office was certainly a breath of fresh air. For years I stayed away from the dentist due to fear and discomfort. Im extremely happy I stumbled across this office in my search because now all of my fears and lack of comfort have been removed. For starters every single person I encountered was a pleasure. Not an unkind, unpleasant person in site. The lady who did my x-rays (I cant remember her name, shes from Cuba though) she was so nice and extremely gentle with the x-rays. She did her job extremely well. Kelly cleaned my teeth and she answered all of my questions willinging. She did not rush and showed genuine care. Kelly explained everything thoroughly so that I would understand what was going on in my mouth and what needed to be done. She cleaned my teeth and she did a phenomenal job. The best part is that she loves what she does and it showed. I felt really confident about my teeth and gums when she was done. The male doctor I met with was also very kind. They have a way of making your experience at the dentist an easy one. I will not go anywhere else for dental care and you shouldnt either. They live up to their name and are a great representation of the dentist here in Jacksonville.

We found out about it from Google maps as you can see it has great reviews and that what attracted us!My wife and I had our cleaning there and it was really good and appreciated.Most of the dental centres don’t explain to you everything clearly! They just give you the bill but this place is really good and they explained everything well and made sure no hidden out of pocket fees and also dropped some of their required feesWe have been there with our 11 months kid and they were more than happy to hold him and play with him until we finished our treatmentWe really liked the place. The staff are welcoming and feel like family.

Hello, I just moved from Georgia to Jacksonville and was in search of a new dentist. The staff and doctor at Dental Center Jacksonville were so friendly and kind. Everything was explained to me in full detailed of the services that I needed to have the performed. The female dentist did an amazing job cleaning my teeth and explaining as she went on. I felt like it was my first time in a dentist chair however, it wasnt Christen was super kind and had me laughing with a joke. Bobbie was really cool and broke down the cost of each individual service that I would need in the near future. The front desk workers were very professional and the faculty was super clean with soft music playing. So amazing and educated practice. I had different payments options available and I was also enrolled in a savings plane for one year. I was in pain and they resolved my problem the same day. I came back for a deep clean highly recommended. Great prices and no wait time. They even have a great playlist song playing in the room to help comfort you.

The ENTIRE staff is amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable. I took my son here in December for his wisdom teeth and Dr. Patel did not do unnecessary treatment, he explained everything in detail, we were not just another number we were treated like family. This is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to! They’re nice, caring, and thorough. Last year I went to Greenberg and they told me I had a cavity that needed to be filled. this year I came here and they said my teeth looked perfect, I had no cavities and it was only staining. Everywhere else only wants your money and wants you to pay for unnecessary things but this place really takes their time with you and has your best interest in mind! All the staff is really nice also. Overall my experience was very pleasant with the front desk, hygienist, and dentist and I’ll never go anywhere else!

When it comes to my dental needs there is only one clinic that I trust, Dental Center of Jacksonville. Dr Jignesh Patel and Dr Barbela and their team goes above and beyond. I live in St Augustine and as a physician, I know how important it is when it comes to customer service, quality service, calm environment and most of all friendly smile. I HATE any dental work and had a lot of anxiety, but just walking in that office, the girls at the front- Helin and Sara noticed it and took time to calm me down that itself goes alongways. This is how you know youer at the right place. I finally was taken back and Mary coached me as to what to expect, further easied my anxiety by answering all my questions. The wisdom teeth extraction was fast and didnt feel a thing thanks to Dr Patel. Dr Barbela fixed by chipped tooth in the front which I cant even tell which was it. I have severe anxiety when it comes to the dentist. Shaking, shivering, near tears anxiety. Yet this AMAZING office made my visit the best it could have possibly been. The individual working with me spoke to me casually for a bit to help calm me, kept asking multiple times if I was ok and not feeling any pain. Had the most beautiful attitude the entire time and despite me shivering for the entire procedure from nerves, never once made me feel bad or get impatient.I can not speak highly enough for this office. Especially in times where we need to feel safe due to covid, they took ever measure imaginable to keep both workers and patients safe.I value this office immensely, they are most certainly my new permanent dentist, and I will be returning to them for all of my future needs.If you have anxiety, are looking for a safe, clean, fair and transparent place to get your dental work, I can not recommend this office enough.

Ok so its was a good place to go to. Fast and friendly with not much wait time at all. I had to get fitted for a new flipper and I will say who ever does the impressions molds needs to pay attention to just that. Most of the 5 mins wait for them to set. it felt like 30 sec of holding pressure then it felt like he was pulling pressure away so it felt like the mold came out alittle. Also I wish I had a choice of where and what tooth to use for the wire clip. Old ones looked like a < U > fit great And these look like a < J >. Dont like the placing of the wire . All in all quick service and very polite. I will go back for more dentistry work.

Let me start this off by saying I have a terrible fear and dislike of the dentist. I have had one too many bad experiences with them trying to upcharge me, botching basic procedures, or even attempting to persuade me with fear tactics into procedures that I KNOW I did not need, while ignoring what I had come there for.When I begrudgingly came in because my crown fell off the night before, I was prepared to fight tooth (haha) and nail against whatever shenanigans might arise. However, I was thoroughly surprised and delighted when they addressed my problem with no extra BS! They gave me a few options on how to proceed, as well as discussed many options for payment. It was very cut and dry in the best way possible, and I even found myself relaxing during the procedure.The doctor and his assistant were patient and encouraging, and they even stayed beyond their closing time to finish my temporary crown- impeccably, might I add. No cutting corners or rushing that I could notice or that affected the outcome. No one was outwardly upset about being there so late, either, and only ever treated me with kindness and professionalism.TLDR; I am very anxious and distrusting at the dentist, and it shows. But, I had an easy time here and definitely wouldnt mind coming back for anything else I might need- and that is insanely weird for me, so 5/5!

Absolutely excellent. I was traveling from out of town and had to have an emergency root canal. Every staff member from the front desk to the excellent patient care and financial support members were kinda, understanding, and went out of their way to help me. I am terrified of the dentist, but I would come back here in a heartbeat.

This was the ONLY place that would help me with my tooth. I couldnt afford anywhere else and they all literally let me walk away crying... not Dental Center of Jax! Awesome

Nice place and very efficient staff. Dr barbells and his staff were all very knowledgeble in their job. Cost was much lower then I had expected. I had my teeth cleaned today. What a fantastic job the technician performed.I’m extremely happy with their services.

Dr. B and the staff are fantastic! I walk in and feel like a star as I am instantly greeted with a cheery smile, then escorted back.From the dental hygienist to Dr. B, the service is always on point! Dr. B takes the time to go over any questions that I have and his considerate manner ensures that I am at ease.My past experiences with dentists have been fraught with dread and pain...now that I have discovered Dental Center of Jacksonville this is a thing of the past!

Absolutely the most sweetist, lovable, curtious professionals I have ever encountered. From the receptionists, the technicians to the dentists, they all are amazing!!!! Ive been afraid of the dentist all my life and they made me feel so great with their extraordinary attention to my needs. They take their time to make you feel at ease. They explain every step of the way. I feel totally blessed to have found the best dentists!!!! I have plans for a front tooth implant and in the past, I had 4 implants with another dentist which was a nightmare of pain.... Now I feel confident to get this implant done because I know I am in the best of hands. God bless you all for all that you do!!!

Dr. Patel and his team did a phenomenal job in treating the issues that my wife and I had with our teeth. Theyre a very professional team (Dentists, Hygienists, Treatment Coordinators, Front Desk and everyone involved).Highly recommend them. They are the ONLY dentists Ill visit in the town.

Amazing dentist and staff!! I came in because of some pain in my jaw, with fear of something being terribly wrong with my tooth. This was the only dentist office I called that answered and were able to see me same day. When I went in for my appointment I was greeted by some fabulous ladies at the front desk. They were pleasant, easy to talk to and very helpful! I was seen at my appointment time. I didn’t have to wait like I usually do at other doctors/dentists. The lady who took my back was down to earth and took her time to explain everything that was going on. Once the dentist came in, after the lady had taken my x-rays, he took the time to talk to me before getting into the nitty gritty. He had astounding bedside manner and made me feel so comfortable. He went over my x-rays and scans with me and checked my mouth and teeth. Thankfully nothing serious needed to be done. He explained a few things that it could be that’s causing me pain. I appreciate the time and care that the entire staff gave me. Everything was very clean and organized. I will be back and will recommend this office to anyone!

My hygienist is always pleasant and gentle and the dentist is very personable. Excellent service!

First time patient. I needed a root canal and fast. They accommodated my schedule and got me in quick. From the front desk to the dentist chair they were nothing but spectacular. I have allergies and post nasal drip that triggers my gag reflex. The Dr. stopped as often as I needed him to to let me clear my throat so not to gag. Excellent job!

Calling them and scheduling appointment was a breeze! Service was amazing, both of my girls had an amazing visit! Definitely recommend!

I have bad anxiety about dentist visits. Everyone here was friendly, punctual, and kind. I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. They are upfront about their prices and explain everything to you. I am extremely happy with this office and will keep going here unless I move out of the area.

I took my 8 year old for a regular routine check up as they were highly recommended by a couple people on Facebook, while my issue is not the service here at all because they were all friendly I am just disappointed that we had to be referred to another dentist to get my kids cavities filled. I mean if I go to a dentist and have a dental issue and your office determines the issue why can you not fix it when you guys take kids as patients too? Plus now this place I need to take him will do another exam and charge me another fee.

I’ve always hated The dentist, until I found dental center of Jacksonville. Very welcoming staff. The doctors are on point and respectful. I was ashamed of my teeth but they have given me a new Sense of confidence. 10/10 I recommend this place !!!!

The staff were great. I am missing teeth from an aut wreck and intense fear stemming from my childhood dentist so I tend to let teeth get bad then they need pulled. The staff treated me with respect and did not assume I was a crack head or meth addict. I felt like they cared for me and I am glad I found them.

Best experience hands down. You can’t find a group of nicer people than at the Dental Center of Jax. The staff is personable, professional and generally just fun to be around. Oh, and the dental work is top notch too!
