I stopped in to see if it were possible to increase the size of my bridesmaid dress by one size. I bought it well before the pandemic and of course, quarantine got the best of my body. The wedding was postponed, so I havent needed the dress in over a year. I tried the dress on recently, and its just a bit too small. Typically tailors can let the seams out a little, or even suggest a corset back instead of a zipper. Instead, the owner told me I need to lose weight, and she gave me a business card to some detox massage/weight loss therapy person in town. She told me I should go at least 4 times before the wedding and then my dress should fit properly. She told me it was expensive, but Ill feel better about myself. She also told me that I should reconsider what I eat. I have never been more embarrassed and upset in my life. I wont be going back.

I cannot stress how well great of a seamstress we have here. She is always very nice and professional and above all she ask questions so its done right the first time exactly how you want it. Amazing little shop and great turn around times!!

Per previous reviews read from work done for former customers, I advised my niece to take her dress for Irina to replace zipper on an evening dress for her up coming wedding in May and my niece gives Irina a thumbs up 👍.... thanks Irina. I will look you up again for more work

I Love this Tailor. Ive been coming to her for 3 years. Shes very experienced and thorough. If it can be tailored, she can do it. She has even tailored a piece of lingerie for me. Shes really communicative and up front about what to expect - as someone who cant even sew on a button I need this lol. My expectations can be unrealistic. I have been beyond happy with all of her work. As an SPR native and downtown worker her location is super convenient.

Irina is fantastic! Her personality is immediately pleasant when you walk through the door. She goes out of her way to ensure you understand the best ways to have your clothes stitched and is very friendly about it. I brought in a few pairs of pants, including a pair that was poorly stitched by another tailor and she even offered to fix the poorly done ones for free because she felt bad about how poorly they were done! In addition, she took the time to make sure I understood the difference between thin and wide hemming. The previous tailor assumed that a wide hem was what I wanted and just did it. She, on the other hand explained to me what was best and gave me the choice of which I wanted. Out of the 4 places Ive been in Jacksonville to have my clothes altered, she is definitely the best. In fact, Im taking a few shirts to her, today!

I needed a last minute alteration on a pair of suit pants on a Friday evening and she graciously was able to hem them right away. Her price was fair and didnt even charge extra for the fast turn around. And the pants look great!! Ill be back.

Very professional and great service. Mostly did my pants. I would recommend it to anyone, and Irina is a very pleasant and nice lady, and she really knows the sewing/alterations trade.

I only had pants hemmed but the owner did an excellent job, including matching the somewhat unusual thread color exactly. She seems very busy and its not hard to see why given the quality of her work.

She does great work for a great price. Had the crotch blown out on some denim and she fixed it on the cheap. No BS. Will use again.
