Ciara was amazing! She did exactly what my daughter asked for... AND She braided my hair dang near perfectly! This is our new place to cut/style our hair.. great clips decided to close on Wednesday ( our coupon ran out today..) wasnt happy about their decision without letting the public know... Their loss!Sports clips is where you should go. NO WAIT as well!

Absolutely horrible there’s only one good person there the rest don’t care. They get you in and out like they have to cut your hair at a certain time because they rush it. My 5 year old could have done better than this. Girl named keavy did my hair. Not blended at all and I have chunks of hair that don’t even look like they have been cut. No wonder the good staff don’t stick around.

Do not come here if you are a girl or a guy with long hair. I do understand they mainly do guy cuts but I went in explained what I wanted asked if they could cut two inches off my hair they explained that they could. I did not get what I wanted even after asking. Parts of my hair that weren’t even cut. If you can not cut certain hair do not say you can. Very very unhappy.

My husband goes here all the time for his hair cuts and usually absolutely loves it. Whoch is why he has been going here for 3 years.However these past few times he has gotten the same stylist Keavy who has not given him the requested hair cut. This time he asked for the sides to be cleaned up a little and she said I already finished my cut, if you want another hair cut then get in the back of the line. His hair cut took about 10 minutes and it wasnt finished.Hes thinking about new places to get his hair cut. The rest of the stylist seem to be great.

From what it seems SportClips Haircuts has great environment and staff but after finding out the way the associates are treated along with their benefits I have a completely different outlook on the place. While they may have some outstanding associates that can cut hair well and are willing to adapt to your style/needs theyre on the expensive side which makes you wonder where that money goes if its not going towards their workers pay and benefits. Shout out to Rosie. Rosie did a great job with my hair both times Ive gone. Great stylist and would recommend. The rating is just for the associates.

My husband and I brought in our 6 year old boy who is special needs. I usually don’t make this known unless I have to. Ms Mindy was so kind and patient with our boy and had a tall order to fulfill when he wanted a Spider-Man cut. IT CAME OUT FANTASTIC! Even with all his movements and endless conversation! I gave them simple instructions… i asked for a medium fade, an inch off the top. I ended up getting a high fade on my left side and a low fade on the right. And she cut way too much off the top. I don’t even know if they can actually cut hair.

I walked in and immediately was seated. Morgan did a great job on my hair and was very engaging. She carried on conversation all the way through and did a wonderful job on my hair. I would definitely recommend Sport Clips for the hair cuts and the atmosphere!

With everything going on, I haven’t had a haircut in over two months. I was headed to another location, but as soon as the app opened to check in, it was almost a 3 hour wait. I diverted to Jacksonville and checked in online. I got a text letting me know I was next...as soon as I pulled in (I had an hour drive). Morgan greeted me at the door with health screening questions and I was in the chair a minute later. This was my first time here, and I was impressed. Morgan asked what I wanted and bam, was cutting and chatting away and in no time, we were done! The free MVP was a welcomed treat...now if I can just figure out what kind of massager they have!

The best haircut in years! I have thick hair that very tough to cut, especially on the sides. It tends to stick out like a porcupine if it just a hair to short. My hair was cut in layers, even throughout blending into my number 6 shave into the back. I would highly recommend Sport Clips to everyone! I have never had a bad experience getting my hair cut here, the ladies are always so friendly and polite. They hold wonderful conversations and make the whole experience enjoyable. I will suggest that you use their app to check in before you show up otherwise on a weekend you will spend a good amount of time waiting. Other than that set you time walk in and enjoy!!

This was our first visit to Sports Clips and I was going to use the coupon I received but due to it being our 1st visit my sons experience was already upgraded to a MVP experience. He is 18 and wanted to try a new style but with no clue what would work best for him and his hair issues. Angela was his stylist and she took her time getting to know him asking concise questions so he would be getting a style he could maintain and feel confident living in. She went over products with no Hard Sell tactics explaining the benefits of them in regards to his fine hair texture & oil production, which is common in mens hair. She made this a very easy conversation with knowledgeable answers and options on what to do in a long term use if it works well. Highly recommend. She is a not a Good stylist but a GREAT stylist who speaks directly to her clients and has knowledge and experience with mens styles and hair issues.

Never Again.Went online today, 5/24/2020 to check in. Online check in said 123 minutes wait time for Daniella. I waited at home until it said 32 minutes to go. When I got to this location I was told it would be another 45 minutes and I had to wait outside. I was allowed to go in 15 minutes later. I watched Daniella with her current customer for at least another 30 minutes with no air conditioning inside and excuses I saw on the board I had 5 minutes then 3 minutes then 5 minutes. Finally I gave up never again will I go there. Daniella should work on her own. NEVER AGAINAndrea was excellent, she was polite, courteous and provided excellent customer service.

Haircuts is always something I dread with my son. I took him to Sport Clips to get a back to school haircut. Every haircut that he had up until going to Sport Clips was so so. Not bad but not awesome either. We were welcomed as soon we came thru the door even though they were extremely busy. Very helpful at explaining how to sign in. While waiting for his haircut I noticed how exceptionally clean everything was. Before anyone gets in a chair it is thoroughly cleaned, hair swept, the whole nine yards. When it was our turn we had the pleasure of getting Regina. She was FABULOUS!!!!! And the haircut she gave my son was AMAZING!!! Also with it being his first visit he got the MVP treatment (hair shampooed, head and neck massage) HE LOVED IT!!! She told me that a lot of parents use it as a reward for there children for good behavior and believe me that’s what I will be doing. My son absolutely loved the treatment and his haircut. Trust me you won’t be disappointed with Sport Clips!!!!

Wow, what an amazing place. I went to another place in New Bern the previous day to get a crew cut fade, and the guy butchered my hair. I drove 40 minutes to get it fixed here. Berenice noticed it immediately when she started cutting. She told me exactly what she was doing as she fixed my haircut. The hot towel/massage were a great touch. Fantastic service, staff, and atmosphere. I will definitely be a return customer.

I brought my son here to get his haircut and he loved it! The woman that did my sons hair was Laura. She did a phenomenal job. She was also really good with my son! He is 8 and he said she was one of the nicest people he has ever met. I will continue to go here instead of the place my son used to go to. I am so ecstatic we gave sports clips a try!!

The haircut was for my son. The cut itself was fine. However the wait was ridiculous. Given the time of day and the fact that schools were out for the holiday week, it seemed odd that there were so few stylists working. The two who were there seemed indifferent to the backlog and made no efforts to expedite tidying in-between customers. Management should do a better job with scheduling personnel, at least 5-10 people came and left during the hour plus we were there. Lost business and lost opportunities.

I love on-line check in, so I dont have to sit for long with my boys who love getting their hair cut while watching sports on the large TVs. My 9 year old says he feels like a grown-up there! And I can always count on consistency with their haircuts, no matter which stylist they get. Ladies are friendly and patient with my children and for that I am grateful. My family loves Sport Clips!

My husband went for the first time on Veterans day. The place was very clean, the staff was nice. However since it was his first time there, he was aware of the sign in process and no one was at the counter to inform him. He figured it out before someone else got ahead of him. The haircut was okay and since it was his first time he got a shampoo and message. After the haircut they inform you of the product they used, if any, without overdoing it. Only issue is that it is un fair to the customers that stay and wait to get their haircut, while others sign in leave for hours and come back just to go ahead of anyone else that signed in after them.

It was a very busy Sunday. I was No. 14 in the pecking order. There were 6 pros in the locker room knocking down appointments steadily. They estimated 45-50 min wait. To my surprise I was seen in 30 minutes. I know 30 minutes before closing time they could have told me we are full and couldnt except any more customers, but they said come on in and make yourself at home. I appreciated the warm welcome. I drove here from Morehead City, needless to say its a far distance to drive for a haircut. But Im loyal to the Sports Clips franchise. Thank you Taylor for your hospitality and professionalism. My son had the best experience getting his haircut yesterday. He’s only three years old and he has been traumatized by people that cut his hair before but yesterday was perfect. He was calm and more importantly the stylist Katie was calm and talked to him the whole time. His haircut came out awesome and we definitely will be going back from now on! Good atmosphere friendly staff. Long wait times on the weekends especially on Sunday with military cuts before the week starts. Online check in makes the wait better had time to eat before my appointment. Other sport clips were far more thorough. But they have replaced my regular Barber, way better than the $5 chop shops

Best haircut experience I’ve ever had. Listened to what I wanted and executed. Very nice to pay for exactly what I wanted. Then also trimmed and shaped beard properly. Very pleased and will definitely be coming backUpdate: 2/22/19 unfortunately this visit was not as appealing... my “skin fade” was barely as low as a one guard. I didn’t get my beard trimmed at all, and the cut was nothing like what I asked... such a shame. I guess if I come back I’ll know better than to assume everyoycuts as well... went in wanting the MVP and since what I wanted was never discussed I never got it...

My husband and son went for haircuts and his turned out great but my son barely had anything done. The lady who started his cut gave him to someone else to finish after she says she couldnt do his hair. We paid full price for it and it looks terrible. Not going back.

My barber retired so I had to find a new place to go. Sport Clips has been a good place for me. I was concerned about having a different person cutting my hair each visit but I get a good cut every time. All staff are very good.

High priced, average cut🤔. Theres places in Jacksonville where for $4 cheaper I can get a better hair cut, razor shave against the grain cut, and a real hand message, all for only $13. The only thing this place has is the image. I recommend go to shears and clippers if you are looking for a better overall experience and haircut for a way cheaper price. This place is a rip off.

I got my haircut here. I was needing a hot towel on my face and a massage chair which I never find for under 20.00 at a womans salon. So once a week I can get my hair washed a get these services and if I only need a hairtrim Ill let these ladies take care of me. But when I need my highlights and a real good pamper Im paying the money and finding a day spa around here.
