Have been going to this place for 3 years now. Never had a bad experience. Professional and has a good atmosphere. Usually get my haircut from Rosie but all the stylists are great.

Today was my first time visiting this business and I was impressed with today’s experience. I was unaware appointments are preferred; however, I was able to be seen thanks to a no-show.Nicole did an excellent job and was very friendly. Having the top trimmed with shears instead of with clippers, which is how most Barber Shops cut the top, was a welcomed change. Also, if you’re looking for a razor fade - the cool, crisp shaving cream greeted by a hot towel was a nice touch.Overall, the shop was clean, the staff was welcoming, and I left with a nice haircut.

I love getting my hair cut at Expert touch. The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. Alea always leaves my hair looking amazing and has on many occasions fixed my hair from the terrible haircuts I have gotten elsewhere. I recommend this place to anyone who asks!

Hair cut great the attitude of the stylist very poor will not be recommending this place to any of my coworkers and friends a shame I enjoyed this place. But the comment “ i make double of what u make” was rude will not be coming back. Only reason for 2 stars was the hair cut she been there for 3 years she said but had a poor attitude.

I’ve been going to Expert Touch for 2 months now and so far it’s been good vibes and good cuts. I usually get my hair cut from Rosie cause she pays attention and knows how to give a good fade!

My experience here was absolutely amazing and I had my hair cut by their newest member Jamie. I felt completely relaxed when she was cutting my hair and her personality is amazing. Definitely deserves recognition for her work!

My husband got a horrible fade from here I would expect that level of skill from a base hair cut. When I was a Sergeant in 29 Palms, one of my Marines had a wife who was crazy and used to point at women video game characters while he was playing computer games and ask Do you like her more than me?!?!. Reading some of these wife comments makes me think of that crazy wifu. Needless to say, everyone was properly attired despite what some hater comments mentioned. Price of the haircut was steep - $16 (not including tip). The barbress(?) who cut my head also cut my neck when she shaved it using a safety razor and didnt have any astringent so I left with peices of toilet paper sticking to me like a small child who hasnt mastered the art of wiping. I will continue searching for a place to get a hair cut.Everyone was nice tho.

Ive been going to Day for 2 years now. Shes one of the best!

Went here a few times to try them out. Today is the second time my fade did not line up on both sides and had to come back to get it fixed. Took about an hour to be seen without an appointment but everytime I ask about setting one the barbers say they arent accepting new clients.

Made an appointment for 5:30pm, showed up 5 mins early, and waited until 5:50pm, then walked out. Staff doesnt care about appointments so youre better off just doing a walk-in. Theres no way I would return here, unless I had MCIs to do since the wait would give me time to finish them.

There are a lot of salons and barber shops in Jacksonville, but after all the shops I’ve visited, this is the one I have stuck with. The ladies at expert touch have consistently done a great job. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great haircut.

Savannah is the best all around!!! She always cuts me up perfectly and is amazingly friendly! Shell make sure that you come out looking Sharp. The other barbers there are funny and friendly. You honestly cant go wrong with any of them but Savannah is my MVP! They have beer, water, and plenty of barbers. You will take longer here than traditional barbers in the area but thats because they take their time and care how you look. If you want a clean hot towel straight razor haircut then I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I made my husband an appointment over the phone and the lady was really nice. She asked if he wanted to make the appointment with anyone specific and we said no because he had never been there. When he walked in today for the haircut, the lady was rude and said “how do you not know who your appointment is with?” He walked out and went somewhere else. It’s a shame because we picked this place by the reviews and photos but without professionalism and customer service we aren’t interested.

Been coming here for the past year for beard trims and a head shave. Every stylist Ive had has been fantastic. Always a great conversation and my beard always looks fantastic. Sundays can have a long wait but thats simply due to the amount of Marines and Sailors coming in. I prefer showing up during the week and Im usually seen quickly.

My husband goes here for haircuts every Sunday. Sometimes theyre busy and he has to wait but for the most part its never more than a 15-20 minute wait. Jackie cuts his hair great, and has been his favorite stylist to work with since we moved here. I recommend this to any military personnel needing frequent cuts. They only accept cash, but they do have an ATM handy in case you dont have any. The prices are really good too.

I went here every week the entirety of the time I was stationed in the area, the owner Jamie is to this day the most skilled with clippers that Ive ever experienced. Never once did I ever worry about if she would mess up my haircut, in fact Ive seen several occasions where people went to other shops and then had to come to her to fix it. I also know that she would not tolerate poor work from any of her employees so rest assured if you come here for a cut, bottom line is youre going to get a good one!

Everyone that has cut my hair here has always taken their time to make sure I have a great haircut, I’ve never had a hair cut from here that I didn’t like. Especially every time Alexa cut’s my hair it turns out great. Ive been to almost every barber shop in Jacksonville and I believe this is the best place to get a haircut. Im greeted by Gwen every time I come in and just that alone makes me feel welcomed there. I get my haircut from Kat every weekend, because she is fast and laid back. Its a great, professional, friendly environment with a modest wait time.

After writing my name down and specifically writing a barbers name down that I wanted to cut my hair because she does good work. I waited an hour to finally get called by a different gal. I told her I requested someone specifically and she apologized and said shed change it in the system. Shortly after the gal I was supposed to have began calling customers that came in almost half an hour after me. Be prepared to wait for an hour if not more like me more than 2 hours !!!! Such a waste of my afternoon.... very disappointed I liked this place...

Figured I’d try some place new and from now on it will be my go to place whenever I’m in town and need a haircut. Staff was friendly and got me in quick. Only waited about 5 mins but that was more than likely the lady cleaning up her station from the person she just got finished with so she could cut my hair. The lady that cut my hair was very nice and had some pretty dope tattoos. Lol.

I have been going to Expert Touch for nearly two years, I’ve gone to a few other barbershops before and had a few different barbers at Expert Touch. I have had nothing but great experiences with the the barbers there, including the receptionist Gwen. Nicole is my current regular barber, she always gives me an amazing haircut and I have had zero complaints about them. She is an amazing barber and is amazing to talk to and I love going to get my haircut there every week, and will continue to go there for a long time!

I know in the picture my head is shaved haha but I promise it grew back. So... this Place is usually busy, all females who cut hair, very nice people, friendly and courteous. The reason I give 5 stars is because the girl who cut my, names Daily, took her time and kept inspecting and going over her work and making every small little adjustment to make my hair perfect. And in the end, I was really happy with my haircut. She didnt rush me so she could to the next person. She took her time and I appreciated it. They also give military discounts. Hopefully shell be my barber from now on.

Im not from the area and randomly stumbled across this place. Upon walking in, my expectations of a small hole in the wall were greatly exceeded. Its very nice inside with a spacious waiting area. Jackie was fantastic to talk to while receiving a great haircut. I highly recommend visiting this barber shop and look forward to returning when Im in the area.

Kat has been cutting my hair for years and have not disappointed me yet. Great atmosphere to be around. Its like a dysfunctional family that you can be open with about anything. Their step-sister, Cinderella, is great too. She sure knows how to clean when shes working lol

Ladies do not let your man go here. There niche is barley dressed women to cut your hair. There is only woman working here. They can not do a military fade and they over charge. And they do not allow children on sundays.

I heard this was a good place. But they will turn you away if you have children with you. Apparently they dont cut children on sunday .

Pitiful to have 10 people (some had been waiting for 30 minutes or more) in line at the door 5 minutes prior to opening and knowing there is 1 maybe (if it’s a leap year) 2 employees working. The hour long wait times are horrendous which cannot be offset by a free beer when the quality of the cuts are a roll of the dice for who is working. Management needs to address this serious lack in staffing and personnel management.A suggestion would include STAFFING MORE PEOPLE FOR PEAK HOURS! Not to mention forecasting when those peak hours are to ensure your wait times are handled appropriately.People having to arrive at your haircut business 30-45 minutes prior to opening is testimony to mismanagement, not quality of service.

Poor customer service, I walked in and approached the counter. Was ignored by all three ladies at the desk. When I asked what the wait times should be, the lady at the counter did not even bother to look away from her computer and simply stated it’s like an hour. I can’t give reviews about the haircut Becuase I did not bother to see. Their interaction with customers is probably a direct reflection of their service.

I have gone twice and had Alex and Savannah cut my hair. They are great at what they do. This is a more adult oriented barber shop, but I have really liked the hair cuts. As well as the free drinks and tvs on. I have found my barber shop for sure!!

I’ve been going to Expert Touch for almost a year now and haven’t gotten a bad cut yet. Braxton hooks it up with a clean fade every time and takes her time to make sure you have the best cut you can get.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The two women who were sitting behind the front desk seemed completely disinterested in my questions and seemed to not care about what answer they gave me. Waited there for two hours. When they called names for people to get cuts, they would wait 10 to 20 minutes for people to respond before they finally moved onto the next person. When I finally went up to see where my spot in the line was, I found out that the list I signed didnt even matter. That should have been mentioned beforehand. And their lounge is a joke. A few TVs, some couches, and a free drink would be nice if they actually played something good. Instead I watched whatever movies they had on FX. Instead of watching HTC.Overall this was one of the worst experiences mainly because of the understaffed shop, and the seemingly high lack of interest these ladies had to give about the people who came in their store. Also, whoever started this place had how it looks on a higher priority then the actual function of the place. Plus the barbers they higher could do a lot better.A waste of of time and money

Use to love going to this place to get my kids hair cut. We went a couple weeks ago at around 8pm which they was open till 10 and they said they was closed. No big deal. My wife takes my kids there on the following Sunday its a 45 min drive one way and all of a sudden they dont cut kids hair on Sunday. Wish they would have told us about the Sunday deal the week before when we was there. How about posting a sign on the front door. Very disappointed. Call to have manager talk to wife and after a week no call back. Guess its time to find a new barber shop.

Showed up on a sunday to get myself and my kid a fade. They cut me but turned my kid away. They say that no children are allowed on sundays. Thats crazy. Discrimination if you ask me.

The staff gives a horrible first impression. My son and I walked in and 3 staff members were at the counter. 2 were taking payments and one was just standing there. All 3 looked at us but didnt greet us ie... Hi, Well be right with you, Please have a seat... When the paying customers left all 3 staff members vanished. Nothing was said to us AT ALL. My son and I decided to leave and go somewhere that values all customers. I am giving 3 stars because the haircuts that I saw were done extremely well and I am hoping that the silent treatment was caused by a Saturday evening exhaustion. :-/

Worst haircut my boyfriend has ever gotten! His hair is so uneven on top, no fade whatsoever, and didnt trim around the neck well enough. The rude girl attempting to cut his hair barely gave him any attention since she was too busy flirting with her next customer and talking to her coworker more!! His scalp was broken out and he was cut at one spot even from her repeatedly running the razor over the same spot while not even looking at him.Awful service and so unprofessional.Definitely never returning and deterring any of our friends from coming here.

A few things I do not like about this place. 1) they have an electronic sign in system, but only take cash. Terrible.2) the ladies at the front, especially the one with shoulder length dark hair, was extremely rude, stand offish, and unprofessional. She gave me and my husband a snarky look when we came in and when I looked at her she rolled her eyes and talked to her friend. They were all swearing and talking loudly about personal things behind the desk like no one could hear them. I dont care about swearing, but you are at work, act like it.3) they told us, and so did their electronic sign in that the wait was 15 minutes. minutes later we are still here waiting.Overall: this place is unprofessional. Theyre sitting there talking while a ton of people are waiting. Before they extended, the service was good. Now, they dont care. You can dress up at turd (in this case, extend and renovate), but its still a turd. We will not be returning.

I took both my boys here this past weekend and we won’t be going back. Both boys had a different girl doing their hair and each of them ended up looking like I got wine drunk and cut their hair in my bathroom.
