I have had more than a dozen haircuts in this place. Come in, write your name on a chalkboard and wait your turn. This is local ownership so please support them. They give hot towel neck massages. A lot of repeat customers so they must be doing something right. It is a perfect place if you are an old geezer.

I’ve been going here for years and they provide excellent hair cuts along with always being consistent. I can’t say enough good about them they’re nice people and do an excellent job!

My go to barber shop. Airika and Gwen are down to earth ppl. It is a barber shop though not a Hair Cuttery so bring your kids (I bring my son) but we have barber shop talk here. everybody here cuts great too.

Ive been looking for a new barber for quite some time. I heard fantastic things about this place, specifically Ken. I came in late in the day and Ken still took his time and precision with my hair. Easily the best haircut I ever had, safe to say I found a new barber. Strongly recommend!

Like every other person looking for a quality haircut, I have been trying out different ones in the area for a while now. So far, I have found this one to be the best quality and most consistent in their work. The attention to detail and the neck shave are whats key for me. My son and I regularly get our hair cut by Gwen and Airika. They always do a quality job and are great barbers. It’s a fun place to get your hair cut for a fair price.

Ken gave me the best haircut of my life. I know that sounds hyperbolic, but its not. The whole shop was great and they also do old fashioned shaves, which is increasingly rare. Cannot recommend enough.

Been coming here for almost a year after trying a few places since moving to Jax. I am very particular and hard to replace my last stylist I had for years. The whole crew is great! I recommend Ken, great job on fades and beard shaping. I bring my kids here too, never any tears or complaining.

After leaving Hilton Head, I found a razor barber shop in Jax and have been going to Cold Steel since. Ken is great, staff has always been respectful and pleasant when Ive been there. Ken takes care of my son and myself. Worth the money every time.

I do not recommend this place. The people there are extremely rude. One of the people that answered the phone yesterday was obviously mad at the world. I wrote in a complaint and got erroneous answers back making excuses. I was even lied to insinuating that the person I wanted to speak to called me back. Of which she did not. Then she denied lying to me that she had. Then she tried to say I was talking about her mother. Then I was chastised in the email as though they were victims. Real professional folks!!

Cold Steel is my barber shop and Ken is my barber! Kens attention to detail is amazing. His tools and equipment are immaculate and alway kept up. The sound of his clippers are downright soothing. Outstanding haircut. Thanks Ken!

Best Barber in town. I just moved here from NC and spent a lot of time finding a good Barber. Being in the military, I need a haircut weekly. Theres some good barbers around but $20 for a trim up is a bit much for a weekly cut. Cold Steel has just as good cuts, with a free neck razor shave, for less than $20. Airika and Gwen are great people too. Come by and get your ears lowers!

Been coming here since around when they first opened up, super friendly great haircuts. Best part is when they put that hot towel around your neck after they square you up. And for those quick buzz cuts its only $10!!!

Hair cuts are great and my son looks amazing with his new cut, I am leaving one start because I think its terrible to listen to two grown woman talking about children. If a child wants long hair he can have it and should not be judged by a grown woman, and just because a child has smelly and dirty hair does not mean when he leaves he should be talked about again by a grown woman. Maybe he is less fortunate and that haircut was his way of feel handsome and smelling better. If you want to talk about children do it where parents can not here and watch what face expressions you make. I hope you read this and realize how un professional that was and how sad as a parent it was to listen to you two talk about children.

I love this place. Ive suffered through some horrendous flat tops trying to find someone who can competently cut one. Gwen does them perfectly. Rather than adding to their overhead with frills and nonsense, Cold Steel wins customers by being great at their jobs and being open virtually all the time.I highly recommend them.

I retired from South Florida to Jacksonville couple months ago. Have been looking around for a simple Friendly Barber Shop. I found it! This is an amazing place and very friendly staff. I felt very welcome. Ken is great! I will go back here.

I found this place by accident several months ago and have been a regular ever since. They greet you when you walk in and thank you for coming when you leave. Ken has cut my hair every time, and ive never been disappointed....he is eager to cut it the way you want. I highly recommend Cold Steel and Ken!!!

We normally go to Sports Clips. We wanted to try out this place because we like to give to small businesses. Sad to say that we will not return return to this establishment or recommend. Not happy with the cleanliness or the level of customer service. They are overpriced for what you receive and a staff member was rudely talking about us while i was paying because my husband decided he was not getting his hair cut after my son received his cut. We will stick with our usual barber.

This is a great place to get a great haircut. Ive had a haircut from both Airika and Gwen and they both give a really good cut. Its hard to find a place where you dont have to worry about which person cuts your hair, but this is the place. I wont go anywhere else for a haircut now that Ive found them.

I stumbled across this studio on my way to lowes. I am so glad I found them. Being a small business owner myself, I support local stores.They know how to read their customers. When asked, how do you want it cut? I said, short. I dont know if she sensed I have no idea about hair and that I hate the 1000 questions that come after that, she went right to work, seemingly knowing what I wanted.Because of service and the quality of my haircut, I highly recommend this place. They have a forever customer.
