This place was AMAZING! Brian is an honest and fair guy and works hard to make his customers happy! He took GREAT care of us and our car, and even just sitting in the lobby I could tell he has a great relationship with his customers! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone and everyone and can honestly say they have a customer for life with us. Thank you SO much Brian for taking care of us!!

I will never go back, If you have the money I recommend going to the dealership. In life God teaches you to be a good person and always give everyone the benefit of the doubt. My experience was frustrating, I even got recommendations from the auto parts store to not go back there because of customers they sent their. The customer service and quality apparently has went down dramatically. I just will never go back.

My truck has been running rough for over a month as I put off what I considered to be inevitable… asking the professionals for help. I called first thing this morning with questions about their availability to repair a vacuum line on my truck this morning. I just didn’t have the energy of know how to dig into this issue. The owner answered, welcomed me to stop by and when I did he told me how to fix the problem myself (it was a lot easier than I had thought)I am in the car business and have recommended friends and clients to Lapointe’s any and every time the opportunity has presented itself. Today was the first time I went in for my own vehicle and it just goes to show why I recommend him to begin with.

The staff is very knowledgeable in what they do. I fully trust them with all my vehicles and their input with what the customer need with having their vehicle run efficiently. They are through with their work.

I would trust lapointe’s 10/10 times. I wouldn’t wanna go get maintenance done on my truck anywhere else. They truly are amazing people and do amazing work. They really do take care of the Marines too. I will be a loyal customer at this shop for the rest of my time in Jacksonville. I wish I could pack them up and take them with me when I get out of the Marines and go home lol. Amazing and honest/ upfront people I recommend giving them a call if you ever need any service done on your vehicle.

LaPointes AS is a place you can trust! I take both of my vehicles there and have never once, been dissatisfied. I can tell you first hand, that you will get honest and upfront service from the owner! I am having a hard time believing any negatives reviews posted here because they arent consistent with the great service Ive had and people working there.

Took my car to USA tires they didn’t have the equipment to check my vehicle I am not saying nothing bad about USA tires because they’ve been good to me but if you need anything done besides brakes and tires take it here USA tires had my car towed here and very next day they fix the problem I’m off till took it back already to have a radio installed they are very professional Brian is great they will have my business as long as I live in Jacksonville

Went in to have my tensioner, pullies, and belt replaced. In and out in under an hour. There are great people there and they have always taken care of me.

I dropped my coolant on a Thursday. I topped it off and monitored it throughout the day. I needed an oil change, so I took it in late on Friday. They ran a pressure test for me along with my oil change. They found a broken fitting in my cooling system which I wouldnt have found myself. I expected to get my car back Monday, maybe Tuesday since I hadnt scheduled an appointment and they were very busy. The owner called me Friday evening letting me know my car was finished. Im very grateful for the owner and his employees. Expert level maintenance.

I usually go to precision auto tune for an oil change so I decided to go there because my car was shaking and my check engine light was blinking, they ran a diagnostic for me and told me it was gonna cost 980 dollars to get it fixed, I took the diagnostic and took it to LaPoints Automotive solutions and had a much better experience they were so sweet and made you feel welcome and basically laughed at my diagnostic and said that precision auto tune ripped me off and that they could fix it for HALF the price, they also mentioned that it wasn’t the first time they’ve had to fix precision auto tunes mistakes and they fixed it right there for me, the car runs better than ever so highly recommend LaPointes and am not going back to Precison

I deliver propane to them. They all are very nice acting. They always seem to be working on peoples vehicles so I am guessing that they are very good at fixing vehicles. I would give them a try.

This is honestly the WORST place in jacksonville to go. 2 cars i’ve brought to them to fix and with every visit something was fixed as something else was messed with.

Went in to get my truck tires rotated, sign said 19.99 for a rotation. My truck had one locking lug nut on each tire that I did not have a key for. They had to use a hammer on wrench to remove them and I asked them to replace the locking lug nuts with standard ones. At the register before the repairs I was told each lug nut would be about $5 each. Even though retail value for those lug nuts is only $2.75 each, I let it slide because they have to make their money I suppose. Then it comes time to pay and they jacked the price to $8 per lug nut, AND an additional $5 per lug nut because they had to use the hammer on. Unbelievable. Already making their money back and then some on the lug nuts alone but then had to tack on even more for removing the old ones. Unbelievable. Go in for a tire rotation expecting to spend no more than $30 and then get charged over $80.

Customer service and communication is amazing since I am not a car girl they took the time to explain what everything was that was going on with my car. Was in and out in no time. Highly recommend. Noted that this business sponsored community events, so I figured I would try out their services. I came in for a oil change and left knowing I would be back for ALL my cars maintenance needs.I hit it at the right time, there wasnt a line and the owner was friendly and checked me right in. The mechanic had my car up on the rack within 5 minutes.They changed the oil, gave me the option to replace filters that they felt needed to be changed (no pressure here, just the option) and took care of the low tire light that had been on for some time.The oil change was $10 less than I was used to being charged (synthetic oil).Friendly & knowledgeable service provided at a good price by a community minded business ~ win/win for all involved!

If you are tired of people trying to take advantage of you because you are not a mechanic, this is the Auto Shop to use. Best Auto Shop in Jacksonville. The owner personally helped me. I went in for an alignment but was unable to get it done because of the length of my truck. The owner explained the situation and recommended another shop. While attempting to align my truck he noticed there were very important parts that were damaged, and needed to be replaced. Instead of trying to squeeze money out of me he explained how i could safely fix the issue. I was not charged for the appointment, the inspection, or the 30 minutes it took for the mechanics to try and complete the allignment. Veteran owend local business that will treat you with respect, decency and fairness.

After months upon months of being told my car needed serpentine belt (replaced it), serpentine pulley assist (replaced it) and finally a timing chain and water pump! Took it to LaPointes, explained the background of my car, work recently done, noises it was making, running rough. Needless to say I should have stopped here first! Not saying it didnt need the pulley....well never really know, my car needed a passenger motor mount!!! They saved me from spending $700+, not that a motor mount is inexpensive, but it sure wasnt $700! I highly recommend this place, they are honest, up front, friendly and the place is clean (even for an automotive shop) and most of all reasonably priced!

They are the best. I had the best experience trying to get my truck fixed. Had water pump replaced and also wanted oil change and a tire put on. They replaced the waterpump and that still didnt fix the problem, so instead of doing the oil change and replacing the tire, they stopped and informed me of the problem. Most places would have done the oil change and tire even though it would have been a waste of my money. Thank you Andy and crew for being honest.

These guys tire machine went down, witch mean they had to repair it. However, they were also working on my car, with no air compressor. Do u know what that means, they had to work on my car old school, and that is exactly what they did. Great job guys. Now the world knows what uve done for me. The Best!!

Terrible people. the man running the show told me I needed to spend 300$ in order to pass the inspection a second time. And thinking back on it he said I needed all this other stuff done on my car and in knew it was a scam ended up paying 600 for breaks and ball joints. long story short dont go to these lying, petty, blue collar thiefs.

Charge me $10 to take a Tire off... Not even put one on... Wife asked how much a tire would be for the rim. Was over Charging by $30 for the same Tire I would get at Merchants Tire & Auto. When I called *Male* They charged me $30 less then when my Wife called an Asked. In short Women they will SCREW You Over in all the Wrong ways.
