Requested and paid over $450.00 for an IDM. Chris looked up my trucks VIN and said they had several IDM on the shelf that would work for my truck and it would ship out that day or the next morning. It did not. I found a major issue with my truck engine so after waiting two days from the date of order I called and cancelled the order as it hadnt been shipped and I no longer needed it. I requested a full refund and Chris said hed initiate the refund and it could take up to 72 hours. It has been seven days and still no refund has been issued. I WILL get my money back through legal action, if need be.
My uncle sent his ECU from his corvette and they “repaired” it and charged him 500.00 dollars. Car ran for 3 days and stopped running. Sent the ECU back to them and they responded to him with a statement saying that they can’t honor the warranty that comes with the original repair because it wasn’t repaired by a licensed repair facility. Makes no sense right? This shop was the shop that repaired it the 1st time so they are basically just ripping us off. Don’t spend your money here and get ripped off.
With 1 phone call Tristan had me set up for a PROGRAMMED replacement ECM or computer for my 08 H3.For $320!!Thats how much a blank module costs at autozone. Then I would of had to pay $140hr for programming at a dealership.Instead, within 4 days I have a ready to go module AND I retain the original/paid no core charge meaning I have a back up module! Score!
Just spoke to these guys on the phone. Before I could even begin explaining my confusing situation, the guy said “sir, we don’t need to know the whole story, just tell me what you need”. What a jerk! Lol it’s incredible that you guys are still in service.
I purchased a modular rebuild from AES, Modular Experts after carful reviews and researching I decided that this company wasnt a good fit..seems they rip alot off ppl off, 4 three days I requested for a confirmation on my refund even though I didnt even send my unit..took them five days and stole 80$ from me..I wouldnt use this company they are a bunch of crooks and they are out for them selves instead of helping ppl..do some research before there reviews are horrible..
Had my module reprogrammed now my car is like brand new
Could not answer simple question. Easier for them to hang up on a customer.
Bought the service. Paid in full. They sent back another ECM for 6.7l Cummins and the same codes came back from my OEM ECM, reset the code and I got a P0606. Makes me wonder if they tried to fix the OEM and called it a new refurbished equipment. Hmmm, so they sent me another ECM, my turbo has been replaced, weirdest symptoms I am getting today. Shop told me if the issues persist, I should replace the ECM again. It will not ever be from these guys. They changed their name From Module Experts to this new name. Plus a three day turn around turned into 2 weeks, just enough time to try to fix and charge me for a new ECM. Worst customer service, I had to go to BBB and find another number. Covid 19, no employment and lots of money down the drain.
I wish i would have read the reviews prior to using this company. Please read carefully. This company is a scam/fraud. Do not use this company. You will lose your money.
Charged me for service never rendered.I was quoted service on my auto part on April 27 2020, to be performed once I shipped my auto part to their location in Jacksonville, Florida.National Parts Wholesaler then immediately charged my account even though service wasn’t rendered, nor had I even shipped them my part!On April 28th I sent an email canceling the request for service. National Parts Wholesaler never responded to my communications since their fraudulent charge to my account.I never sent my part for service. Service was never rendered on the part I never shipped. I requested a refund to my account but my request has not even been acknowledged.Note, the service according to the merchant’s own documentation is for a “Bench Test, Diagnostic Evaluation Service and Repair” all of which require physical possession of the part. National Parts Wholesaler has no documentation to support receiving the part, of testing / evaluating / or servicing the part, nor shipping of any parts back to me after service because, again, the part was never shipped nor were services rendered, engaged or performed.
SCAM! TAKE YOUR MONEY BEFORE GETTING THE PART. BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS WITH MAIL LATELY COULD NOT DELIVER IN PERSON SO REQUESTED A REFUND. WHEN YOU TRY TO GET A REFUND THEY SEND YOU TO A VOICE MAIL AND OR HANG UP ON YOU! AVOID AT ALL COST!
This place is extremely expensive. I spent $1,085 for a I can tell its been used, flashed and spray painted to look new ECU. They took 2 weeks to tell me the ECU was done. BUT so far so good. My car no longer has the problem it had
Money is paid up front by credit card. They send you a receipt with their fee schedule after you pay. You ship the module to them and they will not be able to fix it as there is a component level error and will immediately try to sell you a refurbished unit at twice the market value. If you request your module back, mine had not even been opened, they will eventually refund $38 of you $200. This is a scam.
Ive left positive reviews before for this company, but Im done doing that. The MOST recent problem I had with them is I sent in a BCM, which like many other claims magically couldnt be fixed and was up-sold, and then they failed to put the correct mileage in the remanufactured unit which now shows my customer as having over 260,000 miles on a van with 86,000 miles. Then they had the audacity to tell me I had to send them notorized proof of mileage. NEVER AGAIN.
Be sure you use the new address if going in person.
To anyone trying to save money rather then going thru your dealership, do not use this company. All reviews posted by recent or past customers with anything negative with there experience were 100% truthful. Do not take these reviews lightly.
These dudes are a joke to say the least, I have dealing with Chris (when he answers). Chris is disrespectful to the point that when I told another service member (Mark) that I no longer wanted to deal with Chris he said Sir I know what youre about to say and I will transfer you to my boss. Pretty bad they know their own people are bad to deal with. Save yourself some trouble and just pay the Stealership costs. I also talked to a salesman by the name of Andy and he transferred me because he didnt want to deal with me
Be careful! Like others, I had a very poor experience. Verbally promised to R&R Rebuild and Repair a BCM, so I prepaid $160. After I got the agreement email with info to send it in, it became a $100 non-refundable diagnostic fee, a $10.40 service fee (on services ?!?), a $15 shipping fee, and a $38.85 rebuild and repair fee. Furthermore, there was a little item you had to agree to. If you dispute the charge, the customer was responsible for all costs relating to the charge back.HOW MANY DISPUTED CHARGES HAS THIS COMPANY HAD?Surprise! My circuit board came back as unrepairable, but Adam was willing to sell me a refurbished one for $339 ($499 less $160). In the meantime, I pulled one from a salvage yard for $40 which works fine except for the fact the GM Pass Key security is disabled, but a Chevy dealer said they could reprogram it for $150. He sent the old one back, but with no diagnostic details. At least he refunded the $38.85.
My experience with AES went very well I drop my modules off and got it back in a week. the car is running great right away notice a performance difference better gas mileage.thank you AES Modules have a safe and happy holidays
EVERY positive review of this company is completely fake. They have created quite a few accounts and reviewed various places with each, but notice a pattern of reviews forMotor Mall in jacksonville, FLDiscount Lift Rentals in Sanford, FLMiami Sun Hotel in Miami, FLDolphin Carpet and Tile in various cities.American Classic Car Sales in Sarasota, FLBewareAlso, BBB ratings can be bought with bribes, so its best to trust Yelp, Google, and the like.
This is a group of people who wànt to con you into.wasting $$$$ sent my pcm on Màrch, 6 2020 should of been 4 day turn around back to càlifornia . I received.nothing they did not contact me .I was treaded horrible by one of the employees hung up on ECT. Calling BBB Fla.
I worked for this company and would not recommend. Culture there is horrible and not one that holds the clients best interest. A few guys there try but it starts at the top. So many sex offenders there. I had no idea. I would not allow my children to come near the place. Horrible. Go visit in person, ask these questions.
I bought a rebuilt module from another online company that was supposed to be plug and play for my 08 Wrangler. When it didnt work properly (no throttle response) and after the other company had sent me a second one that didnt work the throttle, they recommended I go to the dealership and pay another $125.00 to have the computer re-flashed for my vehicle. I then called AES, Craig answered my questions, and guaranteed the AES module would work everything (including the throttle) without a trip to the dealership. That was 3 months and 10 thousand miles ago. Im happy to report everything still works.
My refurbished module runs better and starts quicker than the original from 1983. Thanks to Chris for his competent diagnostic work and fast service to get me back on the road. When talking about a 300HP Jaguar V12, it doesnt get any better than this.
Multiple times brought PCM here to be tested and repaired. Was told that the PCM had failure and they could not repair it. Needed to be replaced. Went ahead and purchased a PCM and vehicle still had problems. Which means that it did not need a PCM in the first place. This has happened multiple times. They dont actually test them. I havent had one repaired from them ever. I am a dealership and repair shop. I use another company in another state now. They are scam artists
These people are rude. Specialy Adam. Cant get nothing done right. How is this business still around. They sure dont know how to work on cars either.
Our dealership has used AES in the past rebuilding modules and supplying parts that have been obsolete through Ford. The service has been excellent and the prices competitive. I worked with Maverick and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend AES. Well use them again!
They were not able to repair my module but I feel they are fair and accommodating.
They have a bad attitude and they are unprofessional about the way they deal with you about the warranty . I would not recommend them to anyone.
Only put a star at all because I had to. Hard to begin with this company but let me say they will be Doing a name change soon I am sure because they cannot handle the heat from all the things they have done thus far. I called this company to get a CTS modular for an ECM they told me it could be repaired of course when they got it now they said it couldn’t be repaired and I had to have it refurbished so I sent them the additional money to have a refurbished and they did nothing I had to repeatedly called him over and over to even have it sent back to me. They said it was programmed but it did not work I took it to the Cadillac dealership and they said it’s completely bogus. Called the company on the phone fromThe dealership and let the dealership hear how they spoke to me. It was brutally ugly. I told them I was with the mechanic at the dealership and told told me it would take 24 hours to return my call Trust me a scam
This place is a joke, contacted them and talked to Adam about my issue with my PCM. At first he was polite, however as soon as I send my module over to them he rarely answered and when he did he was very rude and hangs up. Waited two weeks for nothing very unprofessional.Be ware SCAM!
We appreciate what Lonnie does for us. This company is outstanding! I sent them two customers just this month and another just a few minutes ago.
They didn’t help like they say they would. Supposedly they would be able to rebuild my ECM. So I pay them for the job and now they are telling me that I need to buy a new one from them because it can’t be repair. They didn’t warned me that it might not be repair. Waste of $192. Now I don’t even trust of buying an ECM from them.Warning: can’t trust this Company
My recent experience with them was super. I recently purchased a computer at the local parts house which did not work with my car. Mr. Chris was very helpful in guiding me the right way and it WORKED!
Very professional and efficient company. I was absolutely impressed with the service and respect that I received from AES Modules. I would use AES again in the future. I would to thank Maverick and his team of people for the excellent service.
Awesome Place!! I was so happy when i found AES Modules! They beat out the Fields Mercedes dealership to repair my ecm by more than 50%. Brandon was amazing with assisting me with my repair! Thank you AES!
They will take your money instantly and then you will spend about 4 weeks trying to get a answer on where your module is. After 21 days of being billed I received my module back with no repairs done and a partial refund. We were still charged $120 and our customers car was down for 1 month. There is a reason they are on rip off report as well.
Spoke with chris, told me it was no problem to fix the module i was sending in. Also told me he would get right on it as soon as it arrived so i told him i will next day air it. It cost me over 90 dollars just to get it there overnight. I had to call him the next day and he told me to call his personal phone number. I then tried to reach him later that day and no answer. Then called the next day and was told he wasnt coming into work till 11am. Called and told me they are still diagnosing the problem. Also the good reviews on here are fake profiles. Long story short..Chris lied said it would be fixed and plug and play which isnt the case. Do not use them. XeMODeX Inc has great reviews and you all should check them out.
SCAM. Stupid me didnt read those reviews before. They will take your money but will not respond on email or calls. Got my module back after well known yes we can, or need additional money to fix it. Module dont recognize key. Of course after 500$ and numerous phone calls and emails, no response.
I bought an ECM for my 2006 Dodge Ram Diesel. Great service, packaged well, and no problems. I highly recommend. A HUGE thanks to Maverick for awesome service!
Turned my ECU in for inspection to help find what the issue was with my car. They told me it was the ECU and stared repairs. Got a call a WEEK later saying they couldnt repair it and needed to charge me $100 extra for another used ECU that they would then repair. Got the repaired ECU back two weeks later, plugged it in and NOTHING. Car still didnt start. Took a further look into diagnosing the car to find stripped teeth on the timing belt. They took a good ECU, sand blasted it, charged me about $300 and DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. TERRIBLE COMPANY!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
SCAM ALERT! Do not, under any circumstances, do business with this company!!! If you continue to read down the string of 1 star reviews you will see why. Lets just say, in this instance, I decided to not send my Benz ECU to Mark at Module Experts after paying the $435 charge. Its been well over a week since i called to inform them I was no longer sending my unit to them for repair, and is now playing cat and mouse about refunding my money. Do yourself a favor and avoid them all together.
We sent our module over to theme exactly how they asked it to be sent . the package was signed for at there office and a week later they said they never received it and blamed fed ex. I called fed ex and they said they scan all the packages once they arrive. The bigger problem is there customer service I called and left messages for three consecutive days multiple times to reach there manager and no response . I wish we would have read these reviews before we sent our module out. Terrible customer service all the manager had to do was return a phone call. if you can use some other company do it these guys are terrible.
This place is a scam!!! I had my cars computer there being held hostage for over a month meanwhile I had no transportation just to keep being strung along and lied to to finally have to take legal action to get it back still broken.
Have had several Cummins modules repaired and had great success and service. Called today one person hung up on me, called back second person didnt wanna give me any technical assistance cause i hadnt bought the module from them yet. Only reason I was calling cause i thought another one was damaged from the one i was planning on sending in, but they werent willing to help so they lost out to two module repairs.
Sent AES a 2001 Durango body control computer for rebuild. The work was all done by a Chrysler dealership mechanic. The rebuilt $300.00 computer failed within one month. Was sent back where AES said it was mishandled and refused to warranty or offer any sort of refund. After trying to get them to help we had no choice but to buy a new Chrysler body control module which has worked flawlessly ever since. Stay away from anything AES. Totally a horrible dishonorable operation and a waste of money.
The module they sent was defective. It burned out a second module on my van, costing me another 2600 dollars to have it fixed. They refused to even refund my money on the module with the lifetime warranty. I would avoid this company like an infectious disease. Andy Bell the partsologist was no help what so ever. I am deeply suspicious of all of the positive reviews, I suspect they are employees of AES
STAY AWAY!!!!!!! They are scammers.....They have nothing but negative reviews everywhere you look on the internet.I was told on the phone the module would take 3 to 4 days to fix. That turned out to be almost 3 weeks. I was lied to from the start. My customer service rep, Chris was one of the rudest and unprofessional people I ever had to deal with. He told me to never call him again to just speak to the warranty person. Even the secretary is rude when you call to complain. My module did not work when I received it back from them. They said something was wrong with the wiring in my car. I had the entire car checked and the wiring is just fine. After sending it back to them to warranty it, they said they wanted more money to fix it. I stated it is under warranty but they would not honor that. I told them to forget it and just send it back to me. Well, when I received it back, it was cracked like they threw it against the wall. The business is horrible. With that said, I took my car to get fixed, they put a computer in it and NOW runs just fine. It was the computer the entire time. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!!! You will be sorry.I have my credit card company dealing with the situation at this point to get my money back.
Horrible company. Total scam. Watch out because they go by MODULE EXPERTS now.
THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM!!!!! Spoke with Adam about a Subaru Tribeca ECM, yup no problem we can fix that. Pay $199 to them to repair it, wait 2 weeks and get an email saying that it cant be repaired (should have seen this coming). Please send us ANOTHER $519 and we can send you a used remanufactured one. I call and tell them I would just like my ECM sent back to me and I get a sarcastic, condescending attitude from Adam telling me that Im making a huge mistake and that I must have made a lot of mistakes in my life. I tell him once more that I would simply like my ECM returned to me and then he hangs up on me.The ONLY mistake I ever made was trusting these guys to do their job. BIG MISTAKE!!!
I should have read the other reviews. They have no problem taking your money, but it is a total scam. The reman module they sent me would not work and their estimated time of a week turned into 8 weeks. I ended up buying a reman module from the dealership and had the car up and running in less than an hour. Do your research and avoid this company.
I have only used AES a couple times. Both times have been a great experience! My recent one was a customer brought in his 01 Silverado with the ABS module stuck on and draining his battery. I couldnt find a module anywhere for within his price range. I suddenly remembered getting a BCM through AES and called them about this one. They were very familiar with the problem, so for half the price of a new one, my customer got an improved one, he is thrilled and down the road and that of course means I am thrilled! AES has given me the ability to provide better customer service through their expedient service, I would HIGHLY recommend them for any and all module needs.
Very poor customer service and sent me the wrong computer after I, a trained Toyota Technician, gave them all the information needed. I left several voice mails and emails with no reply. I understand mistakes happen, but Its the suppliers responsibility to make it right.
I dont know
You call and give them all the specifics on your vehicle, then they give you a quote . When you arrive with your ecu they raised (doubled) the price and demand full payment before they will even test it to see if its repairable ! I will never return or recommend this place to anybody !
Adam,In the future when a customer makes a request for a part # and you say you have it and then when the different part arrives and you say it is the same thing - please note it is NOT the same. This issue has caused a great deal of problems and your solution to clone - the other is not a fix. This was the request made September 28 2017 - and your reply that you had the correct part - part # 56042409AFWhen I picked it up I looked at the BCM and came back in and told you it was not the same - part # 56042409AEit would have been plug and play if the part # were the same.AF does not = AEDo not mislead customers so you can make a sale - first and last time.I should have read the reviews
Maverick was very helpful when trying to match a computer for my F250. The computer worked perfectly and the service was fantastic. It was a great experience.
The worst company to deal with. They did not fix the PCM. My rep wont return phone calls or e-mails. Wont refund money. I own a professional auto shop and would never use or recommend this company. Will file a complaint with the State Attorney Generals Office and the BBB.
I operate an auto repair shop in Jacksonville and have now used Module Experts twice. The first time we used them for a BMW and the first PCM we got back from them was a dud, evidently it had been dropped, but they made it right by getting us another computer. The second time I used them for a Ford Explorer. I sent in the computer on 01/23/19, my customer called me to check the status on 01/30/19, so I called Adam to find out what the situation was on the computer I had delivered to them on the 23rd. I got hold of Adam and was told that the CPU was the problem and that the computer was a paper weight when I asked him why we hadnt heard about this until now he became loud and offended and said hed stop his technician from trying to save it,,, wait a minuet he already stated the computer was dead paper weight. I have been in customer service in auto repair for over 30 years and this just isnt the way you treat your customers nor should you treat anybody. Be warned shop owners and service writers, I dont think this is a good business. Sadly I had to select at least one star in order to post this.
I sent in a ECM for repair. I received the unit back in 3 days. Great job from Andy, Jahidel, and Darryl. Excellent customer service.
COMPLETE SCAM AND LIERAS . they sent me a module that wasnt programed. Even though I paid for that. I had to take my car to the dealer to get it programed. I asked them to refund me. Since I had to pay for it. They refused to do that. Darrell the owner gave me the run around. . Darrell and his company have no integrity, honesty or dignity. They are totally unethical. They engaged in Deceptive and fraudulent practices. Now they are being investigated by the Attorney general office for that. Also they are being Sued in small court by many people including me.I wish I had paid Attention to the Reviews. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. ITS A TOTAL SCAM.
After having my module for 3 weeks they said it would be another $250.00 to fix. I asked that it be sent back and I am still waiting for a return call to see if it was. These people do not return phone calls, and if they can repair your module it will take longer that the 3-5 days promised. I dont know if their warranty is any good because they were not able to repair my module. I run an auto repair facility and have dealt with many suppliers through the internet. This one is definitely is the worst. I would strongly recommend that you stay away from this company.
Could not find a 97 F250 Power Stroke control module anywhere in the US. AES had it, and the truck fired right up! AWESOME
Sent a PCM to them for rebuilding. Promised a few days, took 2 weeks. After getting it back, didnt work, had more problems and codes than we began with. Paid to reship again to return it to them, and the I get a call saying its going to be 700.00 more, when they had it opened the first time and could have told me this. Completely unacceptable. Terrible place and very unprofessional work and ethics. Should have checked the reviews on google before ordering. STAY AWAY!!!!!
Have used this company on several occasions and every time very personable and the products worked... every time I have a ecm problem I will be using their services . American Iron(formally Windrift Designs Engineering...
I sent AES my 1995 Jeep wrangler module to be repaired after my jeep wouldnt start accompanied with various other problems associated with an ECM failure. At first I did not see the horrible reviews on google before sending my module though my experience throughout was exemplary. My rep. was Mark and he answered all of my questions concerning the repair. The customer service was excellent and my module was repaired and sent back to me within a week of sending it to AES. I have only had my unit back for a couple of weeks though I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs their ECM repaired. Thanks Guys!
Absolutely rude people. I called to ask a question, they informed me they would call me back. Never called back so I called them back to check on my question. I was met with a rude person saying of course we can do that why wouldnt we be able to. So then he pushed me to order it, I told him I had to check the part to make sure Im giving you the correct item number. He said well why did you even call then, we have about 20 people behind you ready to order.Horrible customer service. There are plenty of ECU repair and re-manufacture places, take your business and money somewhere else.
This place is a bunch of liars they took my money and come to find out they lied and only fixed part of the computer, which is bs they did not fix any part and sent it back to me not fixed! I called talked to a so called manager and he hung up on me they are LIARS NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! After having issues with the computer in a 98 lexus, my father payed over $300 to ship it to them just to get it back in even worse condition. Upon further investigation we found that they only replaced a few obvious capacitors but failed to do the real job. We found many corroded capacitors that were the real culprit. These guys are straight up scammers, highway robbers and all around incompetent. Do not even waste your time calling these guys, they need to be investigated by the BBB and shut down in my honest opinion. They never even gave a refund or even the consideration of an apology.
BEWARE that when you get an estimate for the charges you need to have them define what the diagnostic fee is vs the repair fee as you will believe the diagnostic is the smaller number. Youll likely be told your module cant be repaired and offered a rebuilt one for a lot of money.
My 2002 RAV4 was having hard shifting issues and sticking in 2nd gear. Several transmission error codes were popping up. Found AES Modules searching Google. Called toll free # and Chris answered. My mechanic removed the ECU OR ECM & I dropped it off. They repaired it quickly and I had the ECU installed and NO MORE ISSUES!
I should have read the reviews here first. Alas, I am still waiting on my PCM and like the other reviewers they dont return phone calls, they dont ship your stuff. It has been 2 weeks since they received my part then called me to tell me it wasnt reparable and that it would cost me another $100 for one they had on hand. So I sit and wait...Dustin gave me a USPS tracking number which is about useless since USPS doesnt seem to have any tracking data until two days after you have actually received the package so Im still waiting to see if I continue to get the run around or if I actually get my part, two weeks and counting late...
THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE. I HAD A 2011 INFINITI G37 THAT HAD COMPUTER PROBLEMS AND THEY SAID TO SEND IT TO THEM AND THEY SAID IT WOULD COME BACK READY TO GO AND MY CAR WOULD START RIGHT UP AND NOT NEED KEY PROGRAMMING. AFTER SEVERAL WEEKS OF A LOT OF CALLING TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON AND THEY FINALLY SENT IT BACK AND IT WAS GONE FOR A TOTAL OF THREE WEEKS. WE PLUGGED IT IN AND THE CAR WOULD NOT START. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY VERIFIED THE ECU TO BE BAD. MY CUSTOMER COULD NOT WAIT THREE MORE WEEKS TO GET IT BACK AGAIN AND REPAY THE DEALER TO PUT IT IN AND SAY IT WAS BAD AGAIN. I SPENT 700 DOLLARS FOR THE DEALER TO GO THROUGH THE VEHICLE AND FIND OUT THE ECU WAS STILL BAD. I CALLED DARRYL, THE OWNER, AND HE SAID THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO FOR ME. HE WOULD NOT OWN THE RESPONSIBILIT THAT THE ECU WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THAT COST ME THE 700 AT THE DEALER TO VERIFY. HE THEN TOLD ME THAT THE DEALERS ARE DISHONEST AND THAT THEY JUST WANT TO SELL ME A COMPUTER SO THEY LIED TO ME THAT IT WAS BAD. IF IT WAS GOOD I WOULD HAVE JUST DRIVEN THE CAR AND THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER HEARD FROM ME. THESE PEOPLE WOULD NOT EVEN DO A PARTIAL RETURN OR ANYTHING. SCAM ARTISTS ALL THE WAY. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS....
Good job . all working real good, excellent repair
We had a PCM go out, called them asked them if we could get one from a junk yard and have them flash it.asked them if the one we got would work they assured us it would and said it had a lifetime warranty....a life-time....warranty....NOT TRUE, so we got the pcm went and installed it it didnt work it had issues from the get go, miss fires dumping excess fuel, check engine light, could not communicate with the computer at all could not pull codes nothing, called and tried to get customer support of some, i was asked for my number and was told i would be called back, after a week of phone tag we finally went back up there, the tech said the pcm must be bad or some thing compatibility issue got a second computer from the junk yard, had it flash was assured it would work same bull story we were told the first time. i been working on cars in a shop for over 18 years i have never had such a bad experience with any parts company. after the second computer was installed still had issues, still could not communicate with the computer, could not pull codes or anything. the bad thing is the computers ran better before i had them flashed, the customer just wanted the newest firmware on the computer as a sort of preventative maintenance/ future proofing.i mean at 40 bucks from the yard for a pcm who could blame ya for trying to save few bucks, after having them flashed for way to much (MORE THAN THE DEALER CHARGES) with worse customer service, they wanted almost 200 and the dealer only wanted 110 but we had to take the car to the dealer and AES said they could do it using just the PCM. as far as i know they took it in the backroom for no more then 10 while i waited up front. they could have dunked it in a bucket of water then zapped it with a tazer and it would have come out with a better product, service and end result. i mean if your going to spit in my face at least have the decency to give me an option to choose which cheek i take it on.so we go back today and expect some kind of reconciliation, we were told on the phone that they would take the $175 and put it towards a new computer and flash it and get us back on the road ....THIS IS THREE WEEKS LATER BTW.......with not one returned phone call from the tech the salesman or even the *** manager.... the car had a misfire at idle... i could unplug the front two cylinders and it would make no difference. the noid light tested that we had good fuel pulse...the injectors fired fine and even when cranking and out of the car. the coils ran and tested fine and the compression was good, this is on a freshly rebuilt motor (thankfully done at another shop other then AES) so we go to pull codes and no communication.... call for tech support nothing... ask for money back nothing....while we were up there today they wanted us to pay another 300 on top of the 175 we already paid.autozone sells this computer for $209.00 to our door, these people are scam artists and they do not even have the eligibility to be registered with the BBB(better business bureau) because of the Huge AMOUNT OF COMPLAINTS received...i wish i would have seen this before and i hope everyone else has a better chance of seeing this before having a horrible experience with these scam artistsNationwide Parts Distributors/ AES6877 Phillips Industrial BlvdJacksonvilleFL32256
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!We are an automotive repair shop, with over 30 years of experience. We have ASE certified Master Technicians and ASE Level 1 techs employed. We continue to hire only ASE certified techs. As such, we have replaced hundreds of computers on cars, trucks, etc. using various suppliers over the years. We continue to seek out new suppliers depending on our needs. This time, we decided to try out AES/National Parts Wholesales due to the fact that they claimed to be faster than our usual suppliers. This is where our nightmare began. When they received the computer we sent to be repaired, they called us and stated that the computer was burnt beyond repair. So I immediately asked for the part to be returned. They claimed that there would be an $85 diagnostic fee which they DID NOT mention originally BEFORE the part was sent for the repair. In order to avoid the $85 fee, we were told that we would have to purchase one of their own computers for about $400.I decided to accept this offer. I approved the purchase of the $400 computer on a Monday and also asked for the original one to be returned to me. After waiting a few days, I called on Friday around 3pm and they said they forgot to ship the part out.We ended up receiving everything that Saturday. We installed the new part on Monday, as per ALL the requirements. So after we installed the part that AES sold us, we found it to be defective with a different problem occurring than what the car originally came in for. So we immediately called them about this and shipped the part back. At the same time, I took the original computer that we sent to AES that they claimed was burnt beyond repair to another supplier that we have used for many years to verify AESs first claim. After AES received the returned part they sold to us, they claimed that the part was burnt beyond repair and asked for an invoice proving that all the necessary parts that needed to be replaced were replaced. We complied and faxed them the invoice the same day. After explaining to them that they sent us a defective computer, they refused to work with our shop anymore and offered a refund for the computer purchased minus an $85 diagnostic (which we still think is unacceptable) but we conceded and accepted the refund. They claimed we would see the refund within 48 hours.Once AES refused to work with us after we explained that we received a defective computer from them, we decided to give approval to our usual supplier to repair the cars original computer. Our supplier said that the computer had NEVER been opened up and was NOT burnt beyond repair: this was evidenced by the unbroken factory seal on our computer. (As an aside, all of our other suppliers does NOT charge for testing as AES did.) On June 2nd, we replaced original repaired computer that our usual guy sent back to us and the car was working wonderfully and it was delivered to the customer.Meanwhile, with AES, after 48 hours of waiting for the refund, we called them and they said the refund would take a little longer to complete. Then a few days later, we called and left a message inquiring about the refund. They returned the call and said that their credit card system was down.We waited some more.On the following Wednesday, June 11th, 2014, we received an email stating that the warranty was voided due to the fact that we supposedly did not replace the coils and spark plugs with OEM parts. Of course we DID in fact replace all parts with OEM parts and faxed them the invoice to prove it when they originally asked. As stated previously, we have done this kind of job many times before with no problems like this.AES sent us a defective computer and refused to acknowledge this and refused to honor the warranties. They claim to offer a lifetime warranty, but what use is this if they are so quick to offer an excuse to avoid the warranty claim??A company like this does not deserve any stars so one star is still too many. They are fast, professional and skilled
Automotive Electronic solutions has the worst Customer service of any parts vendor or repair facility I have ever had the misfortune to come across in the 7 years Ive been running an automotive shop. Dustin was the person I was assigned to, he never returned my phone calls, an Im pretty sure he screened and ignored my calls too. Ive never been compelled to write any type of review to reflect negative on anyone up until I had to deal with Dustin and Automotive Electronic solutions. I just want to help prevent any one else from having such a terrible experience. (It really is that bad) It started with a phone call in which I was told they could fix the problem I was having with a Body Control Module. The Chrylser van simply had a malfunction in the wiper blades, and it was directly affiliated to the body control module. I proceeded to send in my module. After a couple weeks of not hearing back from anyone I tried to call and find out the status of my module. After four or five phone calls and messages I never got through, finally, week three, i finally received a call back. Dustin told me that my unit was not repairable and I needed to purchase one of their units and it was going to cost me an additional $150 dollars or so on top of the $200 I had already paid, which would have been ok normally if that was the end. However a couple more weeks went by and a couple dozen un-returned phone calls. Every time I called I was given the run around, Dustin would never answer I always had to ask for a manager or tell them it was urgent to get through to anyone. Even the managers were unhelpful. I finally would get through to Dustin after a dozen calls or so and received a different story every time. Long story short, It took about six weeks for them to finally come through with a repaired BCM. I received the module on about the seventh week from the time I sent it out. AND GUESS WHAT.... I INSTALLED IT IN THE VEHICLE AND THE VAN WOULD NOT START. I tried several programming procedures without success. I even took it to the dealer for a re-program with no success. the dealer told me the BCM was faulty. I called back to try and get help from Dustin or someone at AES and they were very unwilling to try and help, they pretty much said it was not their problem and they were not willing to give me a refund. I ended up ordering a BCM off EBAY (which showed up in less than a week), I installed it and the van started and ran great, including the original problem was also solved. AES refused to give me a full refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GETTING RIPPED OFF FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE CROOKED AND WILL NOT DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE.
Stay away. Scam business.
Stay away they will rip you off !!!!!!i wouldnt say much, but all i can say about this company is the worst company in customer service eveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer they dont know how to treat customers, and here is my story with them, i own a garage in Massachusetts and i called them to get a pcm unit for a ford focus which should be the easiest car to get parts for, they had me pay the money up front and they said they will send it in two days and it should work right away once i install it in the car, guess what it took them over 6 weeks to send me the item and they charged me more fees and more bull crap, over the six weeks i was calling them like an idiot because they got the money already, and they kept telling me the item was shipped today and here is your tracking number, the most surprising thing that they gave me about 3 tracking number over the six weeks and non of them was real number, i was really disappointed and the customer was riding my back because of their stupid customer service, eventually after they sent the item to me with the real tracking number i installed it in the car, surprise i didnt work end of the story i had to tow the car to ford dealership and paid an extra 150 to program their stupid programmed part.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!! They DO NOT return phone calls and will not honor there WORD.UNPROFESSIONAL below standards . Owner of a repair shop for over 40 years worst treatment I have ever experienced
PLEASE READ! I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS, I am a business owner and these people are terrible, and will steal your money!!!!!!!!!!!
Horrible customer service. I was told they had the part and it would arrive in 3 to 5 days. after 7 days I finally got through to the rep and he said it had been back ordered through another company and it would be another week or so before it arrived. I am currently trying to cancel my order and get one somewhere else. Without my truck for 9 days now.
So far so good
SCAM ALERT!!! Total waist of time pcm didnt work after I spent $450 costomer service sucks. They called me back and upped the price from original quote.
I have used this company many times and its Hit or Miss with them 4 out of 5 times everything worked out great .Not a lot of places to go for this service
Beware-very suspicious business practices. A module they repaired failed 6 months later and they claim that the problem is in the vehicle and that they would send testing procedures but they did not even after 2 calls to them which went unanswered. I believe they just dont want to honor their warranty.
Terrible service, unprofessional and dishonest. I was charged for a service I never received. They refuse to fix it after taking my money.
Check them out on bbb and you will know how dishonest this company is, They will basically send you a painted used part as rebuild not knowing if its a good part.
NEVER NEVER NEVER USE AES. I have been in business for over 25 years and have never had a worse expereance the module they repair melted the coils on our customers car and they did nothing about it they did refund 114.00 but we paid them 242.00 and the cost of the coils were over 400.00 when you contact them with a complaint the will not return calls or e-mail DO NOT EVER USE THEM.
Horrible customer service
Ive used them nearly a dozen times, as I run a shop. Ive never had a single issue with any of their products or customer service.
As a person with a strong electronics background, this place is a joke.
Horrible Place... They take your money and then tell you you need a new module... I google search reveals that this company employs sex offenders as well. I urge everyone to boycott this company as they are nothing but convicts.
Terrible customer service, atrocious attitudes from employees, and piss poor quality parts....
Really impolite, hanged up in my face
The worth company ever and fraud they take your money and you will never get your computer back or your money back dont use them and they never call you back ....
