Feb 2021I purchased new tires at Jax Bh Goodyear in March 2020. Picked up a nail and they patched it twice but still leaked. Went back third time and received unacceptable behavior by the installation team manager. His attitude was confrontative, rude and basically combative. I made my third appointment with the immature service man. I returned the next day and spoke with the actual store manager. I told the store manager it appeared to me the service team member was attempting to put on a show for his employees utilizing totally unprofessional behavior to a repeat customer. The store manager reiterated he had discussed the issue with the team member and that is basically all he said. The store manager did not offer an apology nor did the young man that created the issue. We all make mistakes including myself. What is needed here is re-training at the front desk and additional training in human relations. Most customers do not complain, they just move on and spend their dollars elsewhere. I hope this helps them grow and mature. I wish them well.
I popped in because my tires looked bowed and I thought they were going to explode, lol. The gentleman at the front (I forget his name, but he’s a Marine) was SO nice and took a look at my tires for me. He inspected and measured all four, said I had a slight alignment issue on a couple, but that it wasn’t serious, and that the PSI rating for the truck actually meant that the tires would sit a little lower than perhaps I was used to. He didn’t charge me, didn’t pressure me to do anything, just gave me information and let me know I’d be fine. I can’t express how appreciate I am of his friendly and professional demeanor, knowledgeability, and not trying to get me to bring my truck into the garage for a bunch of service I didn’t need. Will happily be back for more exceptional service!
Well, I will not be going there again. That being said, I had 2 tires replaced, and they did a good job. That is the three stars.The problem I have is there, really one persons, covid19 practice. It wouldnt normally be a big deal, but this was the SERVICE MANAGER, E.G. First, he could care less about your issues, there were several people in there talking about his lack of care. I could get over that, who knows what he is going through. I could, I guess, even get over the fact that my car was done for 30 min, before he decided to let me know. Oh wait, he didnt tell me, I noticed it wasnt in the back anymore, then scanned the parking lot.The problem I had was his face mask. I am not here to debate facemask policies. I could care less, I will go along with whatever. However, when you have a Goodyear issued mask, and you wear it around your chin, while in the A/C, and technicians are in the heat of the garage wearing theirs, there is something wrong. FACE of the company, and a manager, act like it! Not to mention he would rub his nose and then grab your paperwork and hand it to you.I probably wouldnt have thought too bad of the place IF we werent going through a pandemic, but we are. They are your policies, follow them!
Made an appointment and there was no “opener” so they couldn’t honor it. Ok. I’m good with that but if you don’t say you’re sorry or act as a company that you messed up. Don’t blame me cause I used an online appointment service. I gave you my business because of the good year name and those added services.If you don’t care, then I as a customer don’t either.

Unfortunately I cannot give this place 0 stars. Came in here for a slow tire leak, that has been happening over the last few weeks. One of their tires, relatively new. I specifically told Eddie to check the passenger back tire. After keeping me waiting for an hour and a 1/2 (I made an appointment),. I was told that there was nothing wrong with my tire. When I got back they actually checked the passenger front tire. They never confirmed that they were checking the wrong tire to begin with. Acted like I was to blame for them checking the wrong tire, when I specifically told him the correct tire. The guy just brushed me off and said the mechanic has already gone home at 5:22. Theyre open till 7 om.
Met the new manager, Jose, this morning. Wonderful person, extremely helpful and very nice. He sweetly explained things to me and is someone I would go back to.

I picked up a nail in the sidewall of a tire on my brand-new car. The tire type & size were unusual, and I had no luck finding a replacement from the dealership or Goodyear stores near me. I called Matt at this Goodyear store, and he went the extra mile and located the tire for me. He ordered it from a warehouse out of state, & we scheduled an appointment for the repair. On the repair date, the technician pulled the nail out and discovered that it did not fully puncture the tire. Tire replacement was not necessary. I was not charged for the service, and they even installed the locking nuts on my wheels that the dealership neglected to do free of charge! They have won a future customer. Thank you, Matt - you guys rock!
This goodyear depends on who you deal with. Matt, the assistant manager, is flat out great. He goes above and beyond and is super helpful and super friendly. If we come in for anything and he is there i know it will be done right. If Matt ran the place, id move to 4 or 5 stars.The store manager, Eddie, on the other hand is terrible. He is rude, un helpful and I hate dealing with him. I know that if he is the only one there the service will be less than pleasant.Can i go to a different shop? Yes, but its worth it to me as long as Matt is who i am dealing with.
They guys who run this shop are great! They always take care of me while providing fast and friendly service without pushing unnecessary services as other shops in the area do. Highly recommend!
My car would not start the day before Thanksgiving. I got a jump start and the mechanic said it could be my battery or alternator and to go to a close by repair place. I took it to Goodyear Auto Service Center as they are close and I bought a set of tires from them a few months ago. The man who jumped started my car followed me and told Eddie, the manager of the Goodyear Service Center, that it was either a dead battery or possibly the alternator. Eddie said they would check it out and let me know. A couple of hours later Eddie called me and said the alternator was bad and gave me a price of $748, which included a simple oil change Id also asked for. It was the end of the day on Wednesday, the day before the Thanksgiving holiday. I was shocked at the price, so I called my regular mechanic and described what had happened. My mechanic - JJs Auto - told me he doubted that it was the alternator and if it was he would charge around $540 for it. He recommended I not let Goodyear do the work. I drove my car home from Goodyear with no issues and rented a car for a couple of days. On Friday morning (after Thanksgiving) I took my car (Kia Optima) to Kia Southside. They told me it was the battery which was 4 years old and it needed replacing. Kia told me there was nothing wrong at all with my cars alternator. Kia replaced the battery and my car is now starting and running fine. If Goodyear had just replaced the battery, they would have made money and I would have saved money by not having to rent a car and waste hours waiting at auto service centers. Beware of Goodyear Service Center in Jacksonville Beach. Read the other 1 star reviews. Unless you are just buying tires, go somewhere else.
Went in for oil change. Got a call that my 2 front tires were worn and needed replaced. I asked the total cost, got the estimate and gave them the OK. When I went to pick up my car, I was told a price almost $200 more than my estimate, but no one could tell me why because the man I talked to had gone to lunch. My husband came in and said, if the they couldnt honor the quoted price to put the old tires back on and we would just pay for the oil change. The manager stated that they would still charge us for the labor of taking off and putting on the tires. He then repeatedly interrupted my husband and told my husband that he thought that what they were doing was a good business practice. Will never return due to dishonesty and poor customer service.

Called 2 other Goodyear stores for a flat repair and was told they couldnt get me in, called and talked to Matt and he said he could get me right in. Mike and Sarah looked at the tire and had us back on the road in no time. Great service
As I am currently sitting in their parking lot waiting on roadside assistance to come help me, I have time to write this review. I left work at 6:10 pm to find I had a nearly flat tire. I slowly drove to the nearest station and filled it with air. There was a big screw in the tire. I looked up tire centers near me and came to Goodyear. They closed at 7pm so at 643 I was hoping to just get a plug to get me through. Matt seemed less than interested in helping me. After mumbling something about keeping the technician late doing an alignment he said he couldnt help me. I explained that I lived in San Marco (30 min) and the tire was leaking pretty fast. He told me that unfortunately they closed in 10 minutes and maybe they could do it in the morning. He said he could put on the spare but my car doesnt have one. So much for Goodyear. I should have picked another tire center. I need 2 tires, and I wont be buying them here.
Had my wife take the truck up to get a screw remove and tire patched. She was told that my tires were 3 DAYS out of warranty and that the hole could not be patched. She was told the only option was to buy a new tire.I took the SAME truck to a DIFFERENT Goodyear Location and was told the tire could indeed be repaired.NOT COOL! 👎🏽Admittedly this all happened roughly 6 months ago, and I am just now getting around to writing the review. But, unless something has changed over there since then, they seem to be trying to take advantage of women!

The people here helped me out in a pinch with a flat tire! They repaired it for free and got us back on the road. I definitely recommend them for tire and car service.
The service manager Edie Gonzalez is very rude and condescending. The only reason I didnt walk out of this location is because of the sales representative Matt Stokes. He was able to speak to the store manager and price match the headlight bulbs I purchased. I can not believe that Mr. Gonzalez is in a position of leadership at this location. If a customer is spending $160.00 to have headlights bulbs replaced on their vehicle the very least you could do is inquire with store manager about price matching the bulbs the customer already purchased since they cant be used . Thank you Matt, but I wont be visiting this location again.
Headline: they left my window down, it rained, and they blamed us because we had picked up the keys. I got an oil change from Goodyear on Saturday, I left my car overnight and picked up my keys on Sunday. Since I did not have time to take my car home I left my car there - not thinking anything of it. I did not check the vehicle before leaving. Monday rolls around and I receive a phone call that theyre concerned because it looks like its going to rain and my window is down - by now its a down-pour. We speed to Goodyear and find sure enough my drivers side window is rolled all the way down. We go into the store to complain where were told its not their fault because we picked up the keys. Well obviously whoever parked the car after the oil change left the window down, and my car sat for two nights with the window rolled all the way down. No one contacted me until it was about to rain, which means around closing someone saw my car and didnt think to even call me about the window being down. The interior of my vehicle is totally soaked. Not only that, they refuse to take responsibility for parking my car with the window down. I didnt realize that it was their policy to leave the windows rolled down of vehicles parked in their parking lot. Im thankful my car wasnt stolen considering it sat for so long with the window completely down.
I work across the street at Chipotle and whenever I need something done, it’s as easy as dropping it off at the start of my shift, and it’s done by the time I leave. Always friendly and great staff with good prices

Have oil change. Goodyear over fill my oil. Take it to the car dealer because I still have warranty on my car and they find out that they oil over fill went they change my oil. The dealer wont pay for it. Beacause it not they fault. I have to take it back to Goodyear to get the oil drain out. I ask them who will pay for my dealer fee they say I have to pay for it because I should have take the car back to them. Im no mechanics how do I know it the problem. And I still have warranty to the car y should I take it to them anyway. I talk to the manager who pay for this damage that have happen and he say I had to pay for it. Lol. Bad experience with Goodyear and never ever go back to this place again. So I have to pay out my pocket for $227 dollar to the car dealer and it wasnt my fault at all. No help from Goodyear at all.I have all the paper work from the car dealership to prove that was mistake from the oil service. The good year try to give out all the crap they can say all the Chevy been recall about the vault. I went and ask the car dealer is it truth. They event pull up all my call information to show me there was no recall. What a damn lie Goodyear have. Bad bad liar.

Definitely the worst experience and place Ive been. Tried to push unnecessary change, and seemed incompetent. I would recommend avoiding at all costs. There are many other options. The vehicle is in worse shape when I left after refusing service than when I dropped it off.
An hour and a half wait for a scheduled oil change. They got the job done but it wasn’t a pleasant experience in the slightest.
Good service, fair prices, convenient location, clean & comfortable waiting area, personable staff. First visit was with what I thought was a tire with a leak: they checked it, found nothing wrong, corrected air pressure in all 4 tires and sent me on my way--at no charge.

Service manager was rude. Talked down to us the entire time. Went for an oil change special that included fluids and tire rotation. Neither one was done for various reasons. Then the mileage on my car and the sticker didnt even match. Just go somewhere else!
Good service, fast service but you will pay more for a set of Goodyear tires. Had a nail in my tire and they would not fix it, I was forced to buy a new tire.

Went to get new tires, during installation the tire pressure monitoring system was destroyed and the shop didn’t take any accountability. Also chipped my valve stem to the point it had to be replaced.
Made an appointment for a Ford Focus for a conventional oil change advertised at $19.95. When I arrived, the Manager tried upsetting me to an oil change that would total close to $100.00. I insisted on the advertised special and then the scam artist tells me that Florida Law requires the more expensive oil change. This is the third time they have pulled this crap. Three strikes and you are out GoodYear.
