When my natural gas hot water heater stopped working, I started the process of trying to find a someone that could do the repairs. After calling several places, Roto Rooter located in Columbia, TN was able to provide the quick service I needed. Crystal, the receptionist was very kind, polite, and professional in helping me to get a technician out as soon as possible. Lance, one of the technicians for Roto Rooter, came to my house within a few hours to diagnose the problem. The hot water heater in my home was very old, and Lance said that it would take days to receive the parts needed for repair. He spoke with American Preferred Home Warranty, whom I have my contract with, and explained in great detail why a new water heater would be my best option. I was so impressed by his kindness, that I knew I would definitely use Roto Rooter for the installation of my new hot water heater. I purchased my new hot water heater that same afternoon. Gavin, another technician for Roto Rooter, installed my new water heater the next morning. He was also, very polite, professional, and took the time to answer any questions I had during the process by telephone regarding the fact that I was not able to take off work, and my oldest daughter was the one at home. They are very dishonest. They came to my home and specifically told me that I had a clogged pipe and needed my septic tank emptied. That was all. And charged me over $500 for that service. Not long after that I was having the same issues. When I called them they said they would send someone out to look at it. Two men came with paperwork already written up saying I needed all new field lines! They didn’t even look at anything. When I called the office the lady at the desk claimed they told me this the first time they came and sent me an email. They never told me that or I would have got them to do the field lines the first time they came!! And to this day I can’t find the email she claimed they sent!! I will never use them again!! Extremely unhappy with their service.

AUDRIC and TREY came out started on a friday, needed some major work done because of roots in the old pipes. Figured out how to come and worked ALL AFTERNOON AND NIGHT Saturday I mean told me they wouldn’t leave until they got me set and were here until 12 midnight! Great guys! Great work! Helped me out tremendously. Even my friends in small towns are shocked they stayed that long to get me all fixed. Amazing!

I had to make an emergency service call on last Sunday due to my septic backing up into my house. This had been a problem that had been going on for a few weeks and got really bad. We had another company come and pump out the septic before, but they gave no recommendations for the fix other than wait for the ground to dry up. Our problem was obviously something more severe and we could not wait any longer. Trey showed up on Sunday afternoon and was very nice and professional. He quickly saw the gravity of the situation. He worked very hard diagnosing the situation and found out that it was a pump issue. Although he was pressured to put it off until Monday, he stuck with the job and called in Audric to help. These guys are both top notch! They worked hard on a Sunday to get this problem resolved. They were here still working in the dark to finish! I had never used this company before, but they will be the first ones I call if I ever have any more issues with plumbing or septic. Thank you so much for your service. My house was built in 1919 and has some wonky plumbing. Audric was knowledgable and worked very hard to make sure our issue was resolved. He was up front about price and wasnt pushy for extras. Really good at setting us up for future improvements when the time comes.

A guy named, Trey was most helpful in locating our septic tank when everyone else had failed to fond it. No one would’ve ever thought it would’ve been so far away, which was more feet than his camera scope. He felt bad for us with his camera scope not being able to find it, so he went above and beyond and kept studying the landscape and use his rebar poker to feel around for it. He finally found it. My family and I would give him a 5 star rating if we could just rate him, as he’s a great representative for the company. All the other guys who were with him were most helpful also and each guy was vigilant about letting us know the cost and helping us save, when most companies it’s just wanna charge you an arm and a leg. We could t have asked for better service and PR skills. They treat like family and the charges are very reasonable. Thank you to Trey and the guys with him for all of their help.

We had a water leak in our line running from the road to the house. Our house is a considerable distance from the road and the line crossed a dam to our pond. This was not an easy task. JD and Audric did a great job. Our old water line ran under our paved driveway so we chose to run a new line to save our driveway. They did a wonderful job putting in the new line and making sure the line was not leaking anywhere. If you have a job you need done, ask for JD and Audric. They are great! Thanks guys!

JD came out very promptly on a Sunday after our septic tank backed up and flooded our basement. JD was able to find the placement of our septic tank, identify our problem and get us going again very quickly. He was kind and the cost was extremely reasonable. Will definitely call again if we have another issue.

I called for an emergency service on my septic system at 6PM. By 7PM, J.D. from Roto-Rooter showed up to assess the problem. He stayed until 10PM and fixed the drain so we could at least flush the toilets. Before he left, he went over exactly everything that was needed to fix the problem, including cost and payment options. The next day at 8AM, J.D. called and said that he was on his way. J.D., Josh, and Shad fixed the septic system and the drainage problems in about 3 hours and then cleaned everything up and showed me pictures of what they did under the house! I am very happy with their service and would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Great Service by J.D. an Audric ! I had a main line clog they arrived early, assessed the problem and went to work cleaning it out, after water was flowin again they picked up their gear and it looked like we never even had a problem. Your work is truly appreciated.

I have a restaurant and on Friday night our main line to the dish area was backing up. I had to close early after my normal plumbers i have in my phone came out and tried to unclog my main line. 4 hours later they had to quit. They didnt charge me anything (which I was very impressed by) but told me to call roto rooter. What a great experience I had with this young kid named Lance. JD and Audric did a great job replacing all of the drain lines under my home. I had constant backing-up of my shower and toilets, and too many flood scares. Come to find out, after trying every trick in the book, there was a major blockage and a not so good pipe set-up under the house. They were very kind and pleasant to be around, even though I was obviously upset about needing major plumbing work after 3 months of home ownership. They were the best price I could find, until they dug into the ground and unsettlingly discovered another problem, which is not their fault at all. Even then so, they did their best to match the price of another company I quoted with. Roto-Rooter is one of the most affordable plummers in the area and they do great work with great employees. Just wish the warranty lasted longer to compete with a few other companies!
