Staff is incredibly rude and unreasonable. This property has great potential but the mismanagement will ruin it. They will threaten eviction over minuscule problems without even a warning before hand. They will attempt to charge extra money for anything they can think of. Bad business.

I have nothing but amazing things to say for Jackson Walk Apartments! I read the negative reviews that other people posted but completely disagree! The staff has always been professional, courteous and kind to me. I agree that the maintenance staff is wonderful. They are so quick to come after making a maintenance request and have it fixed extremely fast. Ive never had a problem with another resident. Ive never seen mold in my apartment. I love the staff and I love my apartment even more! The managers are top notch! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JACKSON WALK!!!!

I would honestly rate Jackson Walk apartments as the best apartment complex I have ever lived in! Clean, spacious, and modern apartments in the heart of Jackson, TN. The apartments are walking distance from a grocery store, farmers market, gym, and great restaurants and bars. As for the apartment, lots of windows allowing for natural lighting, all new appliances, a kitchen with so much counter space it would make a chef jealous (and for someone that spends most of my free time cooking, that was the selling point), clean carpet, and beautiful flooring. If thats not enough, the ladies in the leasing office are extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this apartment complex!!!

From the outside these apartments look really nice but their appliances are super cheap and break easily. The carpet was still super stained upon our move in. If you live on any floor but the top floor be prepared to hear elephants stomping around day and night because you can hear literally everything through the floors. If you have children they won’t be getting any sleep during the summer because the amp blasts music that doesn’t end till anywhere from 11pm-1am. They’re painted with flat white paint that gets dirty extremely easily and of course you don’t get to repaint it to look nice again. If you have an issue with another resident don’t even bother going to the office because they are zero help. They’ll tell you to just go talk to the person yourself or call the police. They claim it’s a “convenient location” but unless you work downtown and only plan to shop at grubs there’s nothing convenient about it at all. You have to drive 20 minutes to get to the actual part of town people shop at. They will raise you rent without adding any improvements to your apartment. There are way nicer and bigger apartments available in town for only $20 more so if you’re considering moving here I highly suggest that you take a look at the others in town. The only good thing about this complex is the maintenance crew. They fix things swiftly and will even drive through hazardous conditions on the weekend if you have a maintenance emergency.

AHI Corporate Housing guest are always happy with our furnished corporate apartment here-whither they are here for a month or a year and we highly recommend it.

We moved from out of state to Jackson and we found Jackson Walk Apartments online. It looked absolutely gorgeous and the amenities were impressive so we decided even from a long distance that it might be a good fit. We had talked to the office staff about waiting until we could see the surrounding area before we sign the lease because we had never been to Jackson prior to moving and she said that that would be fine up until a couple days before we were about to move. They told us that if we didnt sign the lease over email that we would lose the apartment and that was never part of the verbal conversations we had had up until that point. Because of the fact that if we didnt sign the lease we would have had nowhere to live we signed the lease and when we got to Jackson we were greatly disappointed. Even though the Jackson walk facility is beautiful the immediate surrounding area did not make us feel safe. We were less than a block away from the apartment complex and we were approached by a man asking for money which made us feel uncomfortable. This is the reason why we wanted to check out the area before we signed the lease but because the promises of the office staff were broken and we were pressured to sign it over email there is not much we could do. We tried to talk to them about the fact that there was nothing wrong with the facility we just felt uncomfortable as I am a stay-at-home mom with two infants and want to be able to take walks and go around the area without having to worry and we felt that I couldnt do that. The office staff and corporate management of the property were less than understanding and were very rude about the fact that even though we had not stepped foot in our apartment that we owed them refreshment fees and the first months rent along with the fact that we would lose our deposit including our pet deposit even though our pet was never in the apartment. It was a very unfortunate event considering the fact that we had built a relationship and trust with the office staff over the phone and via email for a month or so prior and then all the trust was broken just several days before we had to move with them demanding that we sign the lease without seeing the immediate area like we had originally agreed. We now owe Jackson Walk Apartments about $2,000 total and we will also have to find another place to live in order to feel safe which will cost us about that much as well. They are very proud of the fact that these apartments are high demand so we were willing to compromise and pay a prorated rent until someone else rented the apartment and they werent willing to do that. Long story short, the advertising online is very inaccurate to the immediate surrounding area of the Jackson Walk apartments complex.

Beyond tired of the noise levels and reporting it to the office does absolutely nothing. In fact they act like it’s funny and become condescending. The constant stomping is enough to drive you mad. I can hear my neighbors fights/even just conversations through the floors. I agree with the other comments about poor ventilation in the bathrooms, the fan doesn’t seem to help very much so it’s a place where mold can thrive if you take hot showers. Even the drywall is starting to warp and you can see the screws through the paint now. Appliances are on the cheap side but they get the job done. They’ve raised the rent 4 times in the last few years but haven’t made any improvements to our actual apartments and they’re getting older so I’m not sure what justifies the rent going up. Most likely just to pay for the tiny pool that’s usually too crowded to use and the newer smaller apartments they just built. Not sure how that makes my quality of life any better but what can you do? Maintenance is great. They are friendly and will fix things quickly so that’s a bonus. I didn’t really find anything “convenient” about the location. If you want to shop at Walmart or target or Kroger it’s still a drive as grubs has very limited options for a high price but if you like that then it’s probably great for you. All around it’s okay if you don’t mind the noise levels but it’s definitely not worth the price, especially not the older apartments. *edit* no it’s not the wrong place. I purposely used a different name so the rude women in the office can’t give me attitude for my honest opinion because as mentioned they are very rude and condescending so and I would rather not have to deal with them.

Jackson Walk Apartments provide a unique lifestyle centered on health and wellness. Residents are steps away from the LiFT Wellness Center, the premiere wellness facility in the region. This urban, walkable community has something for everybody; shops, restaurants, amphitheater, Farmers Market, dog park, and much, much more.

I would never recommend anyone to live at Jackson Walk apartments. Which is really sad. The staff is beyond rude. Their customer service is well below par. Of course when you sign a lease they are nice but after their attitudes are terrible and they speak to you like you are stupid. Even if you have a concern they talk about it in front all of the staff which is not professional at all.The apartments look nice but they are way over priced for what they are. Also they like to raise your rent at the end of your contract too...$75 to say the least. So if you want to resign, better be prepared for the rent to go up. There are nicer apartments in Jackson that are much larger, nicer, & cheaper and Im going to bet better customer service. The pool is a nice addition other than you cannot take any guest with you. So if you want to go to the pool alone then it might be great for you. There maintenance guys are awesome though, very friendly and fix things very fast. They are always out and they speak! When you move in you better do a inspection with a magnifying glass because when it comes time to move out they will doc you for everything under the sun, esp light bulbs that you had to replace yourself when there was only 1 in a 3 track unit. So when you go buy LED bulbs yourself, you take them with you because they are YOUR property. They should have been responsible for furnishing the bulbs before I moved in but they wouldnt.....but be prepared for them to charge you $15 per bulb. Also the apartment was dirty when I moved in. Cobwebs everywhere. The coat closet had a ton of spiders in it. The stove was dirty and there were white paint drops everywhere in the entire place. It made the floors look dirty no matter how much you cleaned them. The only benefit is having the AMP during the summer time and the Farmers Market. But both you can drive to and park...Just move to somewhere else, its really not convenient for anything unless everything you do is downtown. And its not all cracked up to what people make it.

Staff is VERY rude and very fake. They like to pretend to be all smiles when you’re signing but if you have an issue after that don’t even bother to bring it up to them. They will become condescending and nasty. They offer ZERO help in resolving your issues. If you have an issue with an appliance they give you answers like you’re so stupid you couldn’t think of them yourself. For example our freezer will freezer burn everything after a couple days in there. When we asked the office if they could have the maintenance team look at it all they said was “did you try to turn down the temperature” thanks captain obvious, like I couldn’t think of that myself. However if you bring an issue to maintenance themselves they are happy to fix it for you and will do it quickly. I would say the maintenance team is the only plus side of this complex. Other than that the appliances are VERY cheap, the walls are painted flat white so be very careful because if you dirty them there’s no cleaning it off. When we moved in the carpet was disgustingly stained, there are drips of white paint all over the floors. Make sure you look over everything with a microscope because they will do anything to make you pay extra upon move out. They say light bulbs are your responsibility to replace but if you take the ones that YOU bought with you when you leave they’ll charge you for them. They like to raise the rent at least once a year. In our years there it’s been raised 3times. Yet they make ZERO improvements to your apartment. If you love hearing everything your neighbors do through the floors then this is the place for you! Not even kidding we can hear their conversations through the floors. Also if you love mold you’ll love it here. Whoever designed the bathroom ventilation needs their degree taken away because it doesn’t work AT ALL. Mold is a HUGE ISSUE here and it’s disgusting. I’ve never had an apartment complex have me sign a mold waiver before moving in but I can see why now. There are other much bigger much nicer apartments for around the same price in Jackson so I highly suggested checking those out instead. Willing to bet the staff is better too. Don’t fall for their “it’s such a convenient place to live advertising because unless you want to only shop at grubs (expensive), work downtown and go to the lift there is NOTHING convenient about it. Also there is always something loud going on whether it be the amp blasting music late into the night, sirens from the hospital and police station or the train blowing its whistle constantly.

I’m new to Jackson and looked for an upscale community with the expectation that a higher level of customer service would be apart of it. The was dirty when I moved in and a window was open (1st floor apartment). The maintenance staff came in the apartment twice with out notice. The office staff still haven’t provided paperwork for gym membership or provided a mailbox key. Office staff are not responsive to emails and claim they were sent to the wrong person when confronted. Steer clear folks. Not a place that follows through with their pledge of good customer service.
