We recently moved to Inglewood, was looking for a black owned salon and I was referred to this place. Everything was perfect and the ladies there are nice and welcomed me.

This place puts the P in Professionalism.

Had a lovely time at Nail Dega. Got my mani and pedi with callus removal. Ive already booked my next appointment. Love the ladies and the vibes here. Perfect place to turn off and RELAX!

They had me at free WIFI. Working from home? Mote like working from Nail Dega.!

I was hoping for a long time to find a black owned nail salon here in LA and someone referred me to Nail Dega. I was really happy with my service. I got the nail dip manicure and pedicure and I love it!! One thing to note is, you do book online, no cash payments and you do must leave a deposit to secure your appointment. As a black woman, we spend a lot of money at businesses for our hair and nails. Paying a deposit for a service is not too much to ask considering some of us spend a lot more to be disrespected 💯💯💯

My hairstylist recommended this place so I decided to check it out especially since it is black owned, their IG page looked cute and its closer to my house than my normal spot. I figured since I only wanted a pedicure it shouldn’t be too much of a risk.The nails salon itself was cute. I like the way they arrange the polish by color. They have a TV and also play some light music. They had air conditioning but it honestly could have been stronger. You have to ring a doorbell to get in (which I find annoying).But the real reason for this review is their inexperienced nail tech. First of all she hurt me several times during the pedicure it is honestly a miracle that I’m not bleeding.In addition to this, I wanted regular polish with a simple triangular negative space design. Once I requested it, she never said she wasn’t capable, instead she went to go ask the owner/operator how to do it. In my naïveté I thought maybe she was all set, nope she came back and spent 30 mins on the simple design only for it to look horrible at the end. My reservation clearly stated that I wanted a design so I’m not sure why I was assigned someone who couldn’t do a simple design. She also could have admitted to her limitations. I would have just have just accept a simple polish job. I’m attaching pictures so you can see. I would have asked for them to fix it but I had already sat there so long that I was just ready to get out of there.

I love these ladies!!! Never an Ill vibe, friendly and chill. Great music and wine.. I am always pleased with my service. The owner is personable and remembers her clients. Makes everyone feel welcomed. Appointments recommended.

My mom and I had appointments two Saturdays ago at 4:15 and 4:30pm for a manicure and pedicure. We arrived ahead of time and was happy to patronize a Black owned business. 2 hours and 45 minutes later and this is the finish product. Terrible service! The lady who did my nails (I didnt even bother to ask her name because I was so irritated with the service) did not polish my full nails and left a lot of polish on my skin. I was told it will wash off and the reason she didnt paint my full nail was because they dont want it on the cuticles. There are bubbles on my nails from the polish. After noticing my displeasure O said I could come back and have the same lady fix it. Why in the world would I do that when she didnt polish my nails right to begin with?!?! On top of that, she put 5 costs of gel color and it still wasnt fully polished. I was asked if I wanted them to redo my gel polish and after being there so long (the other workers had already left) I decided against. Proper customer service wouldve been to not charge for the gel and have someone who knows how to polish redo it. I will never go back! Not even for a free polish change! Save your money and go somewhere else. Its not worth the headache nor the wait!!!!

Not pleased with my nails I went there to support black business and i felt it was a waste of my money my nails did not last i got both gel manicure full set and pedicure and to say the least it was just a waste i will not be returning. There is no way that after one week my nails should be lifting smh, thought maybe because the girl took so damn long it might actually be good quality.

I love this nail shop. Its cute and the nail techs do a great job. The owner,O, is very down to earth and personable. There have been times when Ive waited hours or Ive been there for hours. Its not an Asian chop shop so you wont be in and out. These ladies actually care for your nails instead of rushing through and getting you in and out. I love the pedicure section. Its very cute. The dega pedicure includes essential oil and a steam towel. The level of care I received was unprecedented. It is also a black owned shop so thats a huge plus.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The owner is VERY VERY RUDE and the place is quite unappealing inside. You would think as run down as the interior is the owner would be a little more humble.

I just scheduled an appointment for tomorrow at noon and it was rescheduled for August 8th. Dont bother dealing with them. They are black owned and do okay nails but they are really nice nasty in their customer service. There are far too many salons in L.A. to go to where you can get a decent mani/pedi. Besides the last time I went there I waited 3 hours. They really arent everything theyre cracked up to be. Keep looking, nothing special to see here!

So this place was recommended to me by a few ppl.I have sensitive hands and feet so a gentle touch is always appreciated. The woman that worked on me was nice and did great job!Ive always had long nails so when I can find a place that can handle natural nails I get excited.It is very small on the inside only about 4 mani tables and 3 pedi chairs. With that being said this shop is def a book your nail appointment in advance type of place. I was a walk-in and waited about 45-50 mins. Now she did advise me of this so I cant be mad.The regular polish looks like they need to be refreshed. But overall I love my nails and would recommend this place if you are looking to book your nail appointment!I would go back to this place!I received a gel mani-$27

It was three of us getting work done all different. Pedicure, gel manicure and a gel fill. Ok since we didnt have appointments the owner O said it would be 15 minutes before she could have somebody get to us. Ok not bad. The vibe of the place was real cool, we waited so my sister was first, pedicure, got her set up and then took off my gel polish. Over all we were there for at least 4hours and some change. I was expecting a hand massage with the gel manicure and nothing. First time ever I was charged more and got less. Now my sister her pedicure was spot on. Then my daughter got her nails done the girl Tiffany did an awesome job. She told my daughter she didnt need a fill but shaping the nails and a cuticle clean up. We asked how much for a full hand design, Tiffany checked to be sure cause she was a new tech and we all heard the assistant (Renee) say $20.00 its usually 5.00 a finger but since you want every finger, its 20.00. so my child got both hands. At the end the owner comes in to check her out and charges her $5.00 a finger so instead of $20.00 she was charged $50.00 dollars then the assistant said sorry for the miscommunication. There was no miscommunication. You stated the wrong price and yall didnt want to honor what you said. Then they said oh come back and well give you a free polish change. Yeah..... NO. Not going back. Oh and to use your credit/debit card they charge $2.50 thats ridiculous!!!!! So I posted another pic of my nails 4 days later my middle finger of my right hand the polish lifted up. But you didnt give me the oil & massage cause that would cause the polish to lift? I wonder what the reason is now?

I went out of my way to a black-owned shop. I felt like my feet where not done, the girl that did my pedicure seem to be in training. I gave it 2 stars because of the massage.

The best most relaxing experience. I used to do my pedicure and eyebrows myself, never again!

I had been pretty happy with the service, but I share Onyx Obsidians experience of being cancelled on and rescheduled without explanation. It just sent a message to go elsewhere, which I will.

I came here to get my nails done and everyone was nice . However it took 5 hours to do my nails!! I have never ever had to wait this long. I feel like my voice hasnt been heard since the beginning. I told renee that I want new nails because I came with old nails already on me . And I had two broken nails, and one of them was broken in half . I told renee that I wanted new nails . And she told me it was not necessary . So I just followed whatever she wanted to do . She is so slow . It took her five hours to finish my nails . I literally could of fallen asleep . My nails were not even that fancy to take 5 hours. Then the next day, the nail that was broken in half, broke again! So I went for them to fix it . If renee would just listen to me when I told her I wanted new nails on me, my nail would not have to broken again! Then the owner.of this nail salon who always has a bun on top her head is the rudest person ever !!!! Not only is she rude with her employees, shes rude with customers . That day that my nail broke, I was the first one there when they open, and I still did not went first . I just needed one nail to be fixed! I told the owner how long is it going to take because I had to be work in 2 hours, and she said.: well you dont want to go with a broken nail do you? with her little nasty attitude . Then when she finally started to do my nails, she said next.time dont wait to get a fill . First of Lady I get a fill whenever I want and.your going to fix my nail now! If renee would of just listen to me in the first place when I wanted new nails, I wouldnt have to be here again!! But I didnt tell het anything, or given my attitude like she did. If you got time to waste ? Come here. It took me 5 hours just to get my nails done. If you like it when the employees and manager does not listen to what you want ? Come here! If you like throwing money to the trash ? Come here ! If you would like a rude owner ? Come here! Plenty of manners here.

Come every two weeks. My natural nails have grown out so beautifully since i started coming to Nail Dega. Refuse to go anywhere else.

I love my first experience at Nail Dega! I will be back for sure!

Update your polishes. Please. Each bottle is dried out, old or empty. Not very appealing. I will NOT be back.
