Ive been going to Dr. Herd for over 15 years! He is the BEST! My grandparents and father have also been with Dr. Herd for many, many years. His staff is always such a pleasure to be with. Jessica is FANTASTIC. They squeezed me in and Jessica even stayed longer just so she could give me a cleaning after my exam. Cindy has always been so kind and helpful. Shes a treat to see when you walk in the door. Suzanna took a few x-rays and made everything so comfortable for me. She has a way of connecting with you. Laughing and joking definitely eases your worry and pain when youre around these folks. Dr. Herd and his staff are a joy and I am very lucky to have had him as a dentist for so long. THANK YOU!!!!

Wow so welcoming! Starting out with Cindy she makes you feel so welcome and is very knowledgeable on the insurance piece which is very helpful. Now onto Jessica, she is fabulous and talks you through the entire cleaning. Very professional yet personable. Love this office!!

Dr. Herd’s office is the best. Cindy the front desk lady was so nice. It was great coming into a dentist office and be greeted by someone so friendly. Jessica, the hygienist, helped me as well and she made me feel comfortable about my dental experience and was extremely nice as well. No one enjoys going to the dentist but this office makes the experience okay. Thanks everyone 😊

I would highly recommend this dentist. The staff is personable, knowledgeable and capable of taking care of all my needs as a patient. Cindy and Jessica are two of my favorites; Jessica is professional and cares about her quality of work. Oh, Dr. Herd isnt too bad, either.

Im a new patient with Dr. Herd. My first visit was fantastic. The two primary reasons I selected his practice were 1) he could help me with a NTI and 2) his location. Now that Ive visited I would add that his staff is wonderful and they are very thorough. Dr. Herd took a lot of time getting my history and talking through some immediate treatment needs. Even more impressive is he personally called me the next day to make sure my new appliance was working out OK. If youre considering a new dentist, Id recommend Dr. Herd.

I was able to get in quickly when I called for an appointment. I was brought back as soon as I came in the office. Wonderful staff. Very friendly. Dr. Herd is great!

Dr. Herd and the hygienist are the nicest people you will ever meet but the receptionist Cindy is very rude and hateful. I had issues with her a few months ago and again today. If you want a great dentist and hygienist but want to be treated like dirt from the office staff, then go here. Otherwise Id recommend staying away.

The staff is so friendly and caring. I always feel comfortable and Dr. Herd is so gentle, and never hurts me when he is working on a tooth.

Was in for a couple of fillings. Dr. Herd and his assistant Bri kept me comfortable and aware of everything during a rather long procedure. They are amazing as always!

Amazing staff. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I have had a bad history with dentists and had to go in for a root canal (old filling from said bad dentist broke and cause the issue) and Dr. Herd was amazing. Did the complete procedure in just over three hours. With little no pain or discomfort. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Herd is The Best ! You couldnt ask for a better Dentist. He goes above and beyond his job to give you complete information as he totally explains all he does as he is doing it. He once did a arithmetic Canal on me and I didnt feel Any pain whatsoever ? Incredible ... Never before have I had such good service at my Dentist I only wished Id have found him many years ago. He provides an Elite service and care and I cant say good enough about him. He was a Godsend ! I thank God for him. 👍

Everyone here is so friendly and caring. Got a surprise gift and hand-written card today for being a patient for 15 years! So thoughtful. I have had some major dental work done here (bridges, crowns, etc) and I am extremely happy with the care I received, as well as the finished work...I have my smile back!! Dr. Herd always explains everything he is doing and does awesone work! And his staff are all fantastic. My hygenist, Jessica, is great and does a wonderful job keeping my teeth their best! I was treated by Amy today (11/21/2013) for cleaning and X-rays. She was so very understanding about my anxiety issues and put my mind at ease with her easy way of friendly talking and reassurance. She remembered where my children live from over 1 year ago, so I know she really cares about her patients. She is very empathic and she also has a very gentle touch while doing all her dental work. She is very patient, makes sure that any physical discomfort is as low as humanly possible and explains everything she is doing while she works on you. I was amazed at how much my anxiety level went down (from the high level when I was driving over to the office) once Amy started her work on me. I would return to Washington Square Family Dentistry have Amy work on me again with no hesitancy.

Jessica the hygienist is very nice and knowledge of her work. She treats her patients as a friend and I feel just that a friend! Dr. Heard is the most gentle dentist I have ever experienced in my life and I mean that serous! He has done alot of work such as permanent bridge to inplants!
