I brought my daughter to IndyModels about this time last year and she enjoys the photo shoots and the events. I had a chance to participate with her in a fashion review photo shoot last month & it was a lot of fun for both of us. This doesnt cost much & is well worth the money. Highly recommend.

My step daughter started modeling for Indy Models in June of 2020. She never got any gigs for modeling which I gave the benefit of the doubt since we were in the middle of a pandemic so that wasnt much of an issue for us because she loved doing the photoshoots. Well a couple months back they decided to change their policy and went from you having the choice to pay a fee only if you did a photoshoot to you having to pay a mandatory monthly fee regardless if you did a photoshoot or not. If the fee was not paid then they would drop you from the roster. We were booking photoshoots every month sometimes even twice a month and even got involved in each group photoshoot up until December. Because of Christmas we didnt do any shoots in December and decided to spend more time together as a family while she was on winter break from school. Well the mandatory payments started this month January of 2021.. I was warned ahead of time about being dropped from the roster if we didnt pay the fee so that didnt come as much of a shock to me that the second the fee was overdue that we were dropped from the roster and deleted from the website but to go as far as blocking me from their fb page and ig page is a bit dramatic, immature, and unprofessional in my opinion. Its kind of ridiculous to just drop someone 2 weeks after Christmas when money is super tight too but I guess it is what it is and I knew it was coming. I guess I just expected more understanding and also more respect from someone we paid hundreds of dollars to and my daughter built a connection and relationship with over a course of 6 months but I guess thats just business and people are only worried about themselves these days. I wouldnt waste my time or money with this one man crew who claims he is a legit agency again.

There seems to be so much dirt being posted about different agencies. I think everyone should just go meet with all of them and then pick the one that is the best fit for you. For me, that was IndyModels. Why? No slick marketing, no high costs, and they could show me real work that they are booking. I felt comfortable joining. Forget all of the Internet review stuff and just go visit all of them.

I have been wanting to get involved with modeling for a long time but hadnt done it. I met a girl working at a Colts game who told me to look at Helen Wells or IndyModels for real work. I did check out Helen Wells but the money for the photography was just too much to pay. Allen at IndyModels made me feel right at home and I felt like it was a match for me. There are so many scams pretending to be modeling agencies. Do your homework if you are thinking about getting into it. Im happy with IndyModels.

I took my daughter to Helen Wells about 2 years ago and we never received even one booking. They had a few play jobs but nothing that was with a real client & paid something. We spoke with lmodelz but all she was interested in telling us was about work in New York. I dont have any interest in New York or boot camps. We went to IndyModels on a Saturday for an interview and my daughter worked at her first real job 2 Saturdays later. IndyModels is a real agency and they really do put their models in jobs. Im happy to recommend them.

My sister first worked for IndyModels and I started after high school. Its the only agency in Indianapolis that I would want to work with. Theres no pushy sales, no huge cost, and they actually do something for you. Ive worked several jobs and my sister has probably worked 40+ by now. Its been a good agency for me.

I looked for a place for my daughter, both in Indy and in Louisville, and IndyModels was the only one we were comfortable with. The rest wanted a bunch of money for pictures or other things and seemed too pushy. This agency didnt make up a bunch of stuff just to get me to pick them. Great pictures for the website.

Ive had great luck with IndyModels so far. They were the only place in town that didnt tell me what they do in other cities but rather what they do right here in Indiana. I dont want an agency that only wants to find work for me in New York or Chicago. Id rather work right here at home and thats the work they find for me.

My son is a model at IndyModels and we like it very much. We only paid a small fee for pictures and he has already had 2 bookings since March. We talked to Helen Wells but they didnt seem like they had much going on. For everyone I think, but definitely for kids, this is the place to be.

Stephanies review does seem a bit odd and I have exactly the opposite opinion. Helen Wells sends you to a photographer that costs 3 times as much as the IndyModels studio and their pictures look like they were done by a kid with a phone. Theres no way those are getting used to find work for anyone. IndyModels has great model pictures and I thought the cost was really reasonable. Compare the pictures on the 2 websites and see for yourself. IndyModels even gave me several of my pics for my own use. I looked briefly at Helen Wells but went with IndyModels and Im very happy. IndyModels also works with all ethnicities and with kids.

Theres so many modeling scam agencies in Indianapolis these days. This one actually has work and is all business. Im happy.

My sister models there & I followed the page on social media for awhile. I commented on one image of a family session and simply said “no one is smiling..” because it’s a very sad picture and they almost look miserable. the page BLOCKED me. as a professional agency you should be able to accept comments and criticism and learn from it. Not get your toes stepped on & BLOCK someone, especially when their family GOES TO YOU. do not come to this place. disappointed.

I visited Talent Fusion & lmodelz, and researched Helen Wells, and the one thing they all had in common was I was being asked to spend over $1000 to become a part of their agency. For what? No one could show me any real work they were booking. I visited IndyModels and not only did I see the work they were booking, they booked me in a job while I was there! The cost? Under $400 and I actually got something for it! I made back more than that in my first job with them. Avoid the scams! I am this agencys biggest fan.

I looked at Helen Wells but Im really glad I went to IndyModels before doing anything. The process at Helen Wells seems to be totally for them to make money. They were also rude on the phone and it was like I was wasting their time. I interviewed with IndyModels on a Friday, was added to their roster on Tuesday, and I worked my first job on Saturday. This is a much better fit for me!

Im one of the 2 models booked in the All Power Supply job. What a creepy guy! I was nervous when Alexa bailed out of the job and then I found out why. Thats mostly good but it does mean there are occasionally creeps. Nick Montgomery from All Power Supply is one.

To say that we were disappointed with IndyModels isnt enough. Our concern with their conduct requires us to share it with anyone who might consider interacting with them. We contacted IndyModels to book trade show staff for our booth at the Work Truck Show in Indianapolis. A show we have attended for 10 years without issue. The initial interaction with them was normal enough and didnt raise any flags. However, that soon changed and the conduct of Michelle Abernathy the event staffer, became alarming. They literally cancelled our models the night before the NTEA Work Truck Show. The questions & comments we began to receive were not acceptable & suggested their true intent, to book fake models and then switch on us at the last moment. We parted company with IndyModels and we are glad we did. Give any interaction with IndyModels the full due diligence required. We recommend avoiding this company entirely.

I work mostly in Florida these days but my first 7 years were with indymodels and it is still the best agency Ive seen. For a beginning model in Indy, they are easily your best choice. What they offer is real and theres no scam. I heard about the suspicious reviews that have appeared recently so I stopped in to take a look. Please tell me that the other agency in Indy doesnt need to post fake reviews on the google sites of their competition? How sad. I will be back this summer to work for indymodels at gen con! I called this agency (IndyModels) for information on how to book actors for an advertising event (or advertising shoot) coming up next month. The gentlemen answering the phone stated that this company could not help me. I was surprised to hear this after their website clearly states models and actors for this purpose or service available. He was very rude I did not understand why. I asked if he thought I was someone else or if he was confusing me with someone else (this was my first time calling this agency ever). I represent a successful local company that have been in business for over twelve years. I was quit disappointed with my treatment from this person.

I took my son to 3 places in Indy and this was the only one that seemed legit. I learned that the stuff the others post on FB and Instagram is mostly fake or has nothing to do with Indiana. Unprofessionalism is going to be the theme of this review. I arrived to our meeting ten minutes early, waiting around and even talked to the patrons on the floor below asking if they had any contact information for IndyModels or whomever worked there. He did not show up until it was 17 minutes after our scheduled interview time, to which he claimed he was unaware that our interview was to be at that time. The interview went well, and we were to set up a free photoshoot the following day for my composite card as a submission to an upcoming event. Allen, the director and owner, said he would send me an email detailing everything I needed to bring and how to prepare for the shoot that day. An odd occurrence during the interview was that Allen of IndyModels whom I interviewed with was not willing to give me his direct contact information, should I need to get a hold of him the day of the shoot. Although the conversation went well, I let my manager Brandon know about the interaction with Allen, his tardiness, and unwillingness to communicate, and because of the certain responses felt uneasy and went on to investigate for himself. Fast forward to the day of the shoot, I had to email IndyModels asking for the information he said he was going to send to me yesterday, and did not receive the info until 4 hours before the shoot. My manager looked over the information, and though IndyModels claimed they would not charge me for my comp card, there were fees thrown into the photoshoot info. My manager went on to call IndyModels himself, and no one answered. He then called a few people at the event that Allen was supposed to send over my comp card for as a submission to work the event, and he comes to find that this event does not even hire models at all. Even though Allen did not answer his phone, he proceeded to email me shortly after Brandon attempted to call him, saying that we would not be a good fit. This email was sent to me 3 hours before our shoot time. What IndyModels was planning to do with my photos or how they were going to take advantage of me financially, Im glad to say I will not find out. I hope that this review will be an example and will help you to steer clear, be safe in this industry, and to trust your gut when something is off.

We booked 2 models for a trade show in Indianapolis and were charged for their services. The night before the show, around 7 p.m. Indy Models cancelled on us and I quote Jessica is not comfortable with the 2nd girl being cancelled when we had so many candidates available. She doesnt want to work the job alone and has decided not to accept our contract for the show. What a joke! The so many candidates available were 3 girls that looked like they were in middle school and had health issues. We have been doing this show in Indianapolis for 10 years and have never had an issue getting booth models to show up weather it is 1, 2, 3 or more girls. Very unprofessional company and their rates are obnoxious for the service and talent that they provide. We recommend you stay far away from Indy Models if you are a professional company that needs booth models for your upcoming shows in Indy!
